Chapter 942: The Emergence of Azazel (Part-7)

The demon then lunged at him. The flap of his wings sent him flying at Tianyu like a missile with dark flames trailing behind his fist.

Tianyu clicked his tongue, raising his glaive for the first time.

"Brother... FULL ARMAMENT!"

With an order received from its host, The Qilin roared. Golden lightning surged around Tianyu’s body, encasing him in a radiant armor of divinity.

Amon slammed his fist forward at the same time.

Tianyu met the blow with his glaive.

BOOOOOOM!

A shockwave shot outward. Just like the result of Azazel and Alexander’s collision, buildings rippled like waves before exploding outward, flipping away the cars and dissolving the glass into dust.

Tianyu then left its back and flew forward, spinning the glaive and delivering a rapid series of cuts.

Each slash has sent a crescent blade of lightning energy at Amon.

Amon twisted mid-air in a hurry and dodged all of them before flapping his wings to fly upward, and while descending, his wings flared outward, transforming each feather of his wings into metallic spears and raining down at Tianyu.

At once, dozens of spears rained down on Tianyu. Seeing this, he leaped onto falling rubble and spun his glaive around him, creating a protective sphere of golden energy. Every spear that touched it disintegrated.

Amon burst through the falling debris.

*Raaaa*

He swung his clawed hand.

Tianyu blocked and gritted his teeth to push him back, but instead, the force sent him flying through a building.

CRAAAAASH!

Tianyu burst out the other side, coughing dust. "Cough... Cough..."

*Roar*

Right then, the Qilin landed beside him and, with a touch, divine energy poured into him, healing his superficial wounds.

"Thanks, brother..."

Tianyu smiled, caressing its head before gazing back at its opponent.

Amon laughed, his wings trembling with mockery. "Come, mortal! Show me your strength before I rip your soul out!"

Tianyu’s face hardened and his grip on the handle tightened.

He then raised it high and let out a powerful roar before stabbing his glaive into the ground.

"Soul skill: Chains of Imprisonment."

Golden chains erupted from the cracked street, where Tianyu’s glaive was stabbed. They shot at their target so quickly that Amon didn’t have enough time to dodge them, and they ended up wrapping around Amon’s legs, dragging him downward.

Amon crashed to the ground. The dust was smeared all over his upper naked body and his face.

Taking a deep breath, Amon let out a shout. "Ha..."

And then dark flames burst from his body, melting the chains like wax.

However, Tianyu didn’t give him the chance to properly counterattack. Before he got completely free, Tianyu took back the glaive and charged forward.

His glaive swept upward as he lowered his stance upon reaching the demon.

SLASH!

Amon’s right wing was torn open by the attack. Black blood is spraying across the air.

Amon clenched his fists. "You damn..."

He grabbed Ren by the throat with one hand at an impossible speed and slammed him into the street so hard the earth split open like water.

*Gaah*

Tianyu gasped but forced his hand upward, unleashing an explosion of lightning energy in Amon’s face.

Amon staggered back as the lightning struck his eyes, blurring his vision temporarily.

Tianyu then stood again, panting lightly, but raised the glaive. "C’mon... Ha... ha... where was that mocking laugh... Never underestimate a human, you loser..."

Amon’s eyes changed at that comment. "You dare call me a loser?" He spread his wings and his demonic aura surged at once.

To that, Tianyu responded with a chuckle, "Aren’t you all fuc*ing losers who were kicked out of your homes by the Angels, and you have no choice but to stay down in the underworld or Asteroth or whatever place you call it."

"It’s Ars Goetia..." Amon roared in rage, feeling as if his pride was hurt. "You must be feeling overpowered because I couldn’t bring out my powers?"

*ORaaaa*

His roar shook the surroundings, cracking the earth, as a demonic aura enveloped him like armor. His strength suddenly jumped to a new high.

Tianyu could feel it, and he tightened the grip over the glaive, ready to face. He murmured under his breath, "Brother, I think it is time to get serious."

The Emperor Qilin stepped beside him, sparks of golden lightning engulfing its hooves as it let out a low growl.

Both stared at Amon.

The REAL battle... had only just begun.

At the same time, Orion was racing through the air at full speed with the mythril bow summoned from his storage card.

He gripped it before gathering the divine energy from his Sage core and started shooting down the arrows.

WHOOM.

An arrow of pure divine light shot through a winged demon. The creature dissolved into ash instantly.

FWIP—BOOM!

Another arrow. Another scream. Another demon vanished.

Every shot was killed cleanly and precisely, regardless of the ranks of the enemy. Whether they are rank-6, 7, or even 8, they all fell to just one divine arrow from Orion. It is not just that his attacks were strong. Divinity always has a tremendous advantage over demons. It was like a powerful poison to them. Even a normal divine attack of rank-4 strength could usually kill a rank-4 demon and heavily injure a rank-5, as long as it manages to strike them.

And to the fleeing civilians below, streaks of golden arrows cutting through demons looked like the city had birthed a heavenly archer.

Orion kept flying while shooting arrows one after another with pure focus, but his goal was to reach Azazel.

And just like Tianyu, Orion was also forced to halt at the halfway point when he sensed a presence.

Descending in front of him came a tall, graceful demoness who wore nothing, even with the body of a human. Her private parts are exposed in daylight, but she isn’t a human to feel ashamed. If anything, she proudly stood with Bat-like wings curled behind her.

When she smiled, it was slow and quite deliberate.

Her eyes locked on Orion, who averted his gaze from her body.

"Well, well..." she purred in a seductive tone. "Human males usually are filled with lust, forgetting that I am a demon. Some try to court me, while some even jump at me like an animal. But you..." she eyed his divine aura greedily, "You seemed quite resistant... I guess it was because of that divine energy. But you seemed human, though. What’s your name, beautiful human?"

"Orion."

"Mmm... Orion..." Her tongue brushed over her lips. "That’s a nice name."

Orion conjured an arrow without hesitation, impatience rising. "I don’t have time for your nonsense, demon."

His aura surged...

But the demoness only chuckled. "Silly human... I forgot to mention my identity."

She stepped closer, her eyes glowing a seductive, pulsating scarlet. "I’m not a warrior that you can kill me with an arrow."

Her voice laced with perfume-like mana, soft and intoxicating. "I’m the eldest daughter of Lilith... My name is Naamah, the demoness of seduction."

Orion’s vision blurred all of a sudden.

His breath caught. "What—?"

His heart hammered violently against his ribs, and heat spread through his veins. Even his pupils dilated.

His fingers trembled on the bowstring.

"Argh—" Orion grabbed his head as scarlet light flashed in his eyes. "You... What did you..."

Naamah placed a hand over her chest and laughed sweetly. "There we go~," she cooed. "My Love Manipulation. No mortal man can escape my charm. At my full strength, not even transcendant mortals can survive if they lay their eyes on me even once."

Her wings curled around her like a seductive veil. "Your divinity is resisting, but soon, you’ll submit to your carnal desire just like others. They all do."

Orion’s teeth grit as he forced divine energy up to his forehead, trying to burn out the influence...

But it wasn’t working.

Her voice echoed inside his skull like silk wrapping around his mind. "Don’t fight it, Orion. Just come to me. Submit to your desires..."

His vision swam red, and heat flashed all over his body.

Naamah then reached a hand toward his cheek. "Now, let me taste your devotion."

The divine bow trembled in Orion’s grip. His heart pounded uncontrollably, his body fighting itself but to no avail. Orion felt his breath hitch—then falter.

The world around him seemed to stretch, distort, and then melt into a blur of colors. His grip on the mythril bow eventually slipped. It spiraled downward through the smoky air, clattering somewhere on a rooftop far below.

His divinity burst outward, trying to get out. However, it didn’t reach his mind. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

The mental corruption of this demoness, who was suppressed to rank-9, was something else entirely.

His consciousness flickered.

He staggered mid-air, almost falling.

"Ah... there it is," Naamah whispered with a smile as she went behind him and hugged him. Her hands started roaming all over his body.

He flinched and weakly pushed her away at last as she came to him, with her face inches away from his, while trying to attempt to kiss him.

"G-Get away from me..." he growled, but the force in his arm was pitiful. It was barely a tap.

Naamah chuckled. "Come now... don’t resist."

She flew back to him and started drawing lazy circles on his collarbone as if tracing where she would mark him. "Did you forget our relationship. We have been together for so long. How many times have we spent serving one another... Your manhood belonged to me. Did you forget that already?"

While she was speaking those words in a seductive tone, inside Orion’s head, his thoughts were falling apart. Some of his memories were being altered, like every girl he had ever dated, evergy girl he had ever slept with, their faces slowly turned into Naamah one after another...

"Argh...."
