It was an occasion of celebration for every dragon in the dragon kingdom today, because it was the day of marriage of Synthia to Drayken, the dragon princess to their future dragon emperor.

Today everyone was well dressed as they slowly walked in droves with smiles on their faces, to the heart of the dragon palace where the ceremony would be and where they would take their vows.

This wasn't the first time this happened, however previously, the ceremony was practically destroyed by the pesky humans, because of their interference, it couldn't be properly completed.

Now, though, the dragon people were even more happy with this marriage. Drayken has proved himself through his undeniable strength, even beating Kaizer, the current dragon emperor, not to mention at such a young age.

There was also the fact that Drayken might be the one who they were waiting for, considering how pure his dragon bloodline is, even though he was once a human.

A firm belief has already established among the hearts of all the dragon people that Drayken was him. There was no other candidate which could even possibly contend with him in that position so everyone already had a tactical understanding that Drayken was the one.

Finally, the dragon people all arrived at the palace. Inside, the sky was lit with firecrackers in celebration with the cheers and roars of everyone.

The hall was large and immense, enough to house tens of thousands of dragon people, and numerous designs decorated the entire place in beauty.

At the center of it all was a beautifully decorated stage and in the middle of it was the old Dragon Emperor, in a white robe like a priest, his wizened old beard rustling with the wind.

The old Dragon Emperor's eyes were a little dazed as he looked at all the things going on, a sigh filled with a reminiscence tune escaped his lips.

"I didn't think I'd see the day when that little brat grows up and gets married." A chuckle escaped his mouth, with the corner of his lips curved upward, "But considering how powerful I am, these old bones might even see great grandchildren, haha."

Soon, Drayken entered the stage, he was dressed in a golden robe with a dragon embroidered in his sleeves. His long white hair, like snow, freely flowing to reach his shoulder.

His presence filled with elegance and a hint of domineering ferocity emitting from his body.

"Grandpa." Drayken immediately smiled when he saw the old Dragon Emperor.

"Haha, your strides are firm and your eyes contain an image of invincibility, as expected of my soon to be grandson." The old Dragon Emperor nodded his head in appreciation, praising him endlessly.

"Thank you, grandpa." Drayken took the praise, neither humble nor arrogant. He eagerly looked around but was quietly disappointed when he couldn't even find a shadow of Synthia:

"Where is Synthia?"

"She is still preparing, you know women take a lot of time to prepare." The old Dragon Emperor spoke, shaking his head tiredly, "My wife used to do the same as well…" At the end of his words, his voice sounded very dejected and extremely lonely.

Drayken could pick up on it and went silent as well. It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that the old Dragon Emperor's wife was likely dead.

Soon, Synthia slowly walked onto the stage, guided by two maids. She wore a long blue gown and a veil that faintly hid her mouth, even then she could hardly hide her beauty.

Drayken just stood there, blankly staring at her in silence.

"Cough, cough." the old Dragon Emperor coughed, pulling Drayken out of his reverie.

"Sorry." Drayken grew flustered, his eyes still with fascination as he slowly observed Synthia near the stage.

Synthia also looked at Drayken and cutely pouted, almost melting his heart instantly.

Drayken wished that time could stop right now so that he could just observe her for an eternity. His heart thrummed so loudly, almost like a jet engine.

"The marriage ceremony will now commence." The old Dragon Emperor spoke, his voice reaching everyone and they immediately celebrated.

The dragon people cheered louder and the wedding vows for the two finally commenced with the two standing opposite of each other and the old Dragon Emperor murmuring the rituals of the dragon, it was an extremely mystical experience.

There was no trouble in this marriage ceremony, everything went smoothly and ended soon, with the two touching their dragon horns of each other, it finally ended.

"Congratulations, you two have become husband and wife." the old Dragon Emperor concluded at last. With his words, the sky suddenly rumbled as if heaven itself was in an agreement.

Drayken and Synthia stared at each other, they were so close to each other, their hot breath practically mingling.

"You look beautiful." Drayken commented with genuine fascination, even till now he couldn't even take his eyes off her.

"And you look handsome." Synthia smiled, her cheeks rosy.

"Now go away, brats, it's time for you two to spend time together and spend the night." the old Dragon Emperor chided, "You must give me five, no, ten great-grand children at the very least."

"Grandpa…" Synthia grew flustered.

"What?" he scoffed.

Even Drayken felt a little embarrassed with how brazenly this old man spoke, however maintaining his thick skin, he firmly nodded his head, "I will, grandpa."

"Hahaha, as expected, you understand." the old Dragon Emperor gave him a thumbs up.

Synthia turned towards him, her eyes spoke as if she was betrayed.

"Cough, I was just joking." Drayken also felt a little awkward feeling her gaze. Then the two entered the bridal chamber, both shy, among the prayers and cheers of the dragon people.

Even after they left, the Dragon people were still celebrating, even the old Dragon Emperor joined in. This was truly a joyous occasion for the entirety of the Dragon Kingdom and an extremely long night for Drayken, one that he will likely remember forever!
