Chapter 524: Chapter 525: Did You Touch Her?

Luna Lancaster’s body fell down, bouncing off the air conditioning units below before finally crashing onto the ground, covered in blood.

"Ah, someone’s been killed, someone’s been killed," people below screamed aloud.

"I..." Nina King looked at the hand that had pushed the person down. "I... killed someone."

Melody Thorne squeezed her eyes shut hard, her expression revealing just how uncontrollable the situation had become.

"Nina, let’s go!" Melody Thorne grabbed Nina, then dialed Jared Quinn on her phone for help; they could no longer get out of the company.

"Sis-in-law, come up," the sound of a helicopter came from above, and Leon Rivers lowered a ladder from it. "Hurry up."

Melody Thorne pulled Nina up, the helicopter flew away, and many people below witnessed the scene.

"Look, that woman is fleeing out of fear of being punished."

"Luna Lancaster was right, that woman is protected by the Quinn Corporation, so bold to push someone down a building and then leave so brazenly."

"Attention everyone, according to our live report, not only did the Quinn Group’s president marry a woman, but he also protects her even after she committed murder."

"That woman is a seductress; she must have bewitched President Quinn."

"Sis-in-law, why did you get involved with the Lancaster Family again? Don’t you know how troublesome they are, and how deceitful their methods can be?" Leon Rivers said.

The key issue is that everyone knows Melody Thorne is Jared Quinn’s woman now, and even if Jared Quinn wants to protect her, it’s probably not possible anymore!

The Quinn Group likely won’t have any peace now either.

"I thought she was just going to jump off," Melody Thorne looked down from the plane; a lot of people were running after their plane, probably still shouting for her to pay with her own blood.

This Luna Lancaster probably didn’t expect to fall; she just wanted to deal with her.

"I... I killed someone," Nina King lit a cigarette, her fingers trembling endlessly. She was just a woman too; she could be scared. She had just begun to have a better life.

"Nina," Melody Thorne placed her hand on Nina’s hand, "did you touch her?"

"I..." Nina was so angry at the time that she rushed forward, and she was in a daze, "I... I might have touched her."

"Calm down, you didn’t touch her," Melody Thorne said with certainty. She saw clearly, Nina ran over, but her distance was enough that she didn’t touch Luna Lancaster. She was about to fall anyway.

But the public’s eyes saw it as Nina pushing her down.

"Yes, I didn’t... didn’t," Nina said in a panic, "my fingers didn’t even touch her, I was afraid she’d really fall and wanted to pull her back to shut her up."

"Alright, calm down," Melody Thorne looked worriedly below, "Jared Quinn should have seen the news by now, right?"

"How could he not see it? Jared saw it as soon as those reporters started broadcasting, that’s why the plane got there so quickly," Leon Rivers replied.

The plane was already flying at full speed, afraid of being spotted. More planes appeared in the sky, heading in different directions to divert the public’s attention.

Soon, Leon Rivers brought them down into an estate, owned by Jared Quinn, but no one would be able to find them there.

In the hall, Jared Quinn was already waiting for her, his tall figure striding over and pulling her into his embrace. "Were you scared?"

"Jared Quinn..." Melody Thorne’s initially strong heart found a haven in his words, and she started to collapse, sniffing and leaning against his chest.
