Chapter 376: Ichiro Vs. Baelzor and Drakzen

After attaining my gravity awakening, Vespera was bleeding out from her severed legs due to the special effect of Drakzen’s dagger, which made all of the wounds produced from it keep bleeding until the subject died.

"Don’t worry about me!" Vespera shouted, but it wasn’t easy for me to just ignore her.

I was feeling powerful—my body was as light as a feather, and my strength was at an all-time high, so I didn’t feel like I had to leave her alone.

With a single step, I moved a dozen meters to appear right next to my companion, handing her a holy panacea and a healing potion.

She looked surprised at how fast I was moving, but she still grabbed the two potions and began gulping them down. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

My attention wasn’t focused on any of the devils, and as I made sure that my companion drank the potions, I felt a projectile behind me.

Still, I didn’t even move an inch as the gravity magic around me deviated the black lightning bolt upwards into the ceiling.

Gravity wasn’t supposed to work on everything, but with my awakening, I felt like I could manipulate the weight of things that wouldn’t have been possible before.

The attack came from Baelzor, who stood up with a bloody face after the beating I gave him and rushed to Drakzen’s side.

"Two against one?" I muttered.

The devils didn’t respond, but I could tell they were preparing to attack as their demonic energy took different forms.

Once again, I took a single step and appeared right in between the two devils, holding the two tips of my bo against each and generating a gravity blast that sent them flying to the sides.

Drakzen recovered from the attack first and instantly launched himself at me with his dagger, but his attacks were getting deflected by the gravity wall that surrounded my body. The closer they got to me, the heavier it was for them to move.

Once Drakzen realized he couldn’t touch me, he took a preventive backstep, and Baelzor followed with his own attack, trying to slice me horizontally from the back with his spiked sword.

Nevertheless, I didn’t even turn to look at him as the invisible gravity wall around me deflected his sword.

I gazed back for a moment and pointed a finger at Baelzor’s chest, unleashing a massive force of gravity in the shape of a cylinder that pierced through his chest and sent him flying away toward the wall with a lot more force than before.

Right when he crashed, I felt a massive torrent of demonic energy coming from the area where Baelzor landed, and as the smoke and dust dissipated, I noticed he was in his final form.

The devil had to transform into his true devil form in order to survive my attack. However, that meant that he had no more tricks under his sleeve, as I had been trying to bait him into transforming ever since the battle started.

Baelzor’s body was as white as snow, and since I had taken one of his horns already, he only had one large one extruding from his forehead.

I launched myself at him to finish him off, but before my bo could hit, I felt something approaching from my side, making me turn to protect myself as my intuition told me my gravity wall wouldn’t deflect it.

When I gazed to the side, I saw Drakzen, who had also transformed, rushing towards me at a speed that made him catch up with me in less than a second.

Drakzen probably had the least visually impactful transformation, as he still looked humanoid. His fangs and horns were larger, and his eyes were wholly red with a shining hue, but that was about as far as his transformation went.

Moving my bo horizontally to shield myself, Drakzen split his hand like a liquid and avoided clashing with my bo, knowing that it would deflect his attack.

*Tch* ’Blood magic...’ I thought.

He used blood magic to make his hand liquid and split into two, passing next to my bo and stabbing me in both shoulders.

The moment I got struck, I released more MP into my gravity barrier and had him step back before he got sent flying away.

’He won’t let me execute Baelzor, huh?’ I pondered as blood gushed out of my shoulders.

’Then I’ll just finish them both right now,’ I continued, increasing my energy output even more as I got ready to spend all of my power on killing the two devils.

Nevertheless, we were interrupted when the entire Pit started to shake, feeling like we were at the origin point of an earthquake.

["The second one is coming!"] said Yoru with telepathy.

There were supposed to be two Accursed Beasts from the very beginning, but we hadn’t seen the second one until that point.

"Vesp!" I shouted at my companion, who had stopped the bleeding from her legs that were still regenerating.

My companion knew exactly what she needed to do and didn’t reply as she flew out of the Pit to help Yoru with whatever Accursed Beast was coming our way.

"Are you sure you want to leave your companions alone?" Drakzen asked with his annoying smirk plastered on his face.

"I trust they are way stronger than whatever monster you bring. But you wouldn’t know about that—I mean, you did leave one of your comrades to die, didn’t you?" I replied, mocking him for the time he let Vyrazul die so he could absorb the body of the Minotaur.

Drakzen laughed. "Yes, Vyrazul died earlier than expected, but she completed the most important part of her mission—there was nothing to gain from saving her," he said.

"Alright, then it’s time for you to die early, too," I said, taking one step and appearing right in front of Drakzen, unleashing a barrage of attacks that an ordinary person wouldn’t have been able to see.

I felt like I could easily kill Baelzor at any time, but my only problem was Drakzen, as he could keep up with my speed and strength.

’I need to separate them to get an opening...’ I thought while our weapons clashed, creating a cacophony that echoed throughout the Pit.
