My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 101: Delusional
Chapter 101: Delusional
"So, let me get this right, you two lived off the grid and have never entered a dungeon city? And you wish to work here as Breakers?"
The border officer raised his eyebrow as he checked the papers in front of him. He had a nametag that said "Archie." It showed the picture of a couple, a couple of photographs, written testimonies, and the names: Lucian and Chiara Alvestra.
The cold air from the air-conditioning was a great comfort from the hot sun outside. Inside a small, enclosed room, the couple was being investigated.
They were wearing clothes that looked tattered. They were dirty, greasy, and had even parts of their faces caked with dirt.
"Yes, officer. Monsters attacked our village. We fought some, but there were just too many. We couldn’t even take anything with us but the clothes on our backs," the woman sobbed.
The man beside her rubbed her back. "Look, officer, I know you’re just doing your job. But we are just common folk who want to live our lives in peace. As you can see, my wife is still emotional. The attack was—horrific, to say the least."
Unable to remain stoic, the officer fiddled with his hat as he sighed, "Look, I really am sorry, but the dungeon cities are in lockdown because of the announcement a few days ago. Letting you inside is not possible..."
"No... darling... I can’t go back there. I just can’t... I would rather die!"
Desperate, the woman abruptly stood up; tears fell from her eyes as she tried to kneel. Her husband quickly tried to stop her from prostrating herself.
"Chiara, you have to be careful; the baby!"
"Baby?" the officer gasped, "She’s pregnant?"
Lucian nodded, "Yes, we confirmed it while on the move. Have a heart, Officer Archie; I will do anything you want, just let us in this city. I will pay your taxes and follow the rules."
The officer let out a sigh. He took off his hat and rubbed his temple.
"Fine. We are in severe need of Breakers. I will let your family under the exception of recruitment. Report to one of the Breaker offices within five days, or we will throw you out."
"Thank you. Thank you, Officer Archie!" Chiara sobbed; she took the officer’s hand and wept.
Lucian, on the other hand, bowed his head to the floor in gratitude. "Thank you! Thank you! If we have a boy, I will name him after you, Archie!"
Uncomfortable with their over-the-top reactions, the officer pulled his hand away and explained, "Don’t mention it. I was an immigrant too, came to Crestfall City just a little over a decade ago, so I can relate. My wife was pregnant at that time as well."
"Oh? What a coincidence! That’s amazing!"
The wife wiped her tears, took her husband’s hand, and leaned on his shoulder, "See, Lucian, I told you good people still existed. Be sure to work hard so you can be an upstanding person like Officer Archie."
"Chiara, isn’t he too high a bar? Officer Archie is like a saint. I am only good at killing things."
Finding the barrage of compliments overwhelming, the officer quickly took a stamp and slammed it on the file before him. It left the words "APPROVED" in red letters. He then signed it with his name and date.
He then flicked his nose with his finger as he commented, "I am not someone so great. Anyway, welcome to Crestfall, Lucian and Chiara. I hope you build a better life here. Next!"
Making a quick bow, the couple stood up and left the room. Another group of immigrants entered after them. The moment Lucian and Chiara left the building; they turned toward one of the dark alleyways and began laughing loudly.
"I told you good people still existed? You are having way too much fun acting, Bianca," Elian chuckled, "You wanted to shoot the gun for having a stupid mustache."
Bianca couldn’t stop giggling as she retorted, "But it looked so foolish! You weren’t any better; you almost killed him when I touched his hand," she paused, then smacked Elian across the chest. "Also, I’m having fun? Where did you get that pregnant bit?"
Her lover looked away and scratched his cheek absentmindedly. "Didn’t you say to pull on his heartstrings? Why mention that he came with a pregnant wife if you had no intention of using the info? It took us days to match up with Officer Archie."
Shamelessly, Elian turned and grabbed Bianca in a tight hug; he then went for her lips and kissed her. His woman flinched, but did not resist. Bianca melted in Elian’s arms and wrapped her arms around his neck.
When Elian grew satisfied, Bianca had glassy eyes and stared at his lips with longing.
"Besides, if you are worried about him finding out that it’s a lie, we just need to follow through, right?"
"W-Wha..."
Like a vampire, Elian attacked her lips once more.
I mean, we should make a baby for real. Do you want to?
In a fluster, Bianca pushed adorably against Elian’s chest.
"Wait! We can’t! I haven’t even met your parents yet! We need to get their permission! As the older one, I must be responsible. We have to; otherwise, they will blame me if you become a worthless member of society."
Elian smiled lecherously as he enjoyed the witch’s panic.
"I see. Then I look forward to it."
Bianca glanced away, her cheeks flushed. "I just... want to do it right, that’s all."
Wordlessly, Elian hugged her even tighter.
"Uhm... Elian, can you let me go now?"
"No."
Along with his refusal, Elian spun Bianca around and began to nuzzle her neck. She didn’t find it uncomfortable and leaned her body against his.
"Sigh. You are really testing the limits of my self-control, you brat. If you keep seducing me like this, I really will attack you in your sleep," Bianca threatened.
"Your threats are pathetic; you sheltered, misguided little girl. Showing such beauty and sex appeal to a horny teenager, you are delusional if you think I am the one in danger."
"Oho? I keep telling you to stop being brazen, Elian. Otherwise, I will eat you up."
"Not if I eat you first," he retorted.
Unable to stop themselves, the two burst out in laughter. However, they never let go of each other as they did. After a few seconds, they turned silent. In this corner, a world for only the two of them, they relished each other’s company.
"If only this moment could last forever," Bianca murmured.
"Don’t worry. We will make it so. So long as the two of us are together, we can do it."
The witch closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment, "Yes."
Just then, a sudden raspy voice broke the silence; a pack of dogs and a bird approached the pair hugging each other.
"I told you guys, if you left these two on their own, they would flirt like there’s no tomorrow."
"Fufu, I wish they would take it beyond flirting and just make children already."
"Sigh, at least Bianca is no longer a problem. Whisper, just for the record, I do not accept this bird bastard as your mate, okay?"
"I beg your pardon. Lord Bastion, I never said I would woo your daughter. Although I admit she is one interesting individual."
Hearing the peanut gallery, Bianca and Elian separated. Like a pair of flustered teenagers, they kept stealing glances at each other as they rejoined the rest of their party.
"Uhm... Mom, does your body feel weird? Please do not push yourself," Bianca asked in an obvious attempt to change the topic.
Silent gave a simple nod, "It is certainly a unique experience; being this small feels weird. But apart from losing my mana, I do not see any issues."
Before they left the Flame Swallow Dungeon, Silent also underwent the Weaponization process. Unlike Fluffy’s and Bastions transformations, Silents was smooth.
With Bastion stepping in to support his wife’s soul, there were hardly any issues. Although her daughters still worried.
If Bastion was built like a brick, Silent requested her body to be made like dagger. Her enhancements all revolved around being able to move silently and undetected. She was the assassin to Bastion’s heavy knight.
"Silent, remember to tell me if you feel anything uncomfortable, okay? I am worried about you," Bastion fretted, one could see his ears droop in worry.
The former Alpha giggled as she nuzzled her spouse, "Dear, you already bore the brunt of my weaponization. You have done enough. I am fine. For all your annoyance at Son-in-law, both of your treat your women in the same manner."
Bastion, snorted as he looked away, "Hmph, that is the only reason, I even allowed him to become Bianca’s husband. If he was just a spoony bastard I would have torn him apart."
"Fufu, of course Dear. We are all so lucky to have you," Silent praised. Bastion puffed his chest in pride at her words. Pleased, Silent then turned to Bianca, "Daughter, what now? Where will we stay?"
Bianca made a wide smile as she declared boldly, "No need to worry about that, Mom. Now that we got inside, I will now show you the power Fralhame does not have."
Bastion, confused, tilted his head. "A power unique to Earth? What would that be?"
"The power of money!"
Elian, who heard her, grimaced, "Just for the record, not all humans have that power. Some of us die without ever getting to feel that power. I often dreamt of even having enough money to not worry about the next day."
Rather than dismiss his concern, Bianca quickly grabbed his arm and hugged it to her chest. "Fufu, that is all in the past. Now that you belong to me, allow me to pamper you, darling. I have extremely deep pockets!"
Silent approached Fluffy and whispered, "Whisper, you have her memories, right? Just how rich is your sister?"
Fluffy groaned unhappily, "Enough to buy this city twice over. I saw her check her investments; five decades really compound."
Elian gulped at Fluffy’s comment; he looked at his lover, who batted her eyelashes seductively. "Time to splurge, darling."
