My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 63: Mom
Chapter 63: Mom
The sounds of metal and claw clashing reverberated. A black colored human with a greatsword fought with a Snow Wolf Alpha over 13-meter tall. Despite the massive size difference, the one who dominated was the humanoid.
They have been at this for hours now.
"Shouldn’t we stop them? Someone could get hurt," the witch worried.
It was a novel feeling Bianca never dreamed she would ever experience. In front of her were two people fighting not because of hate, anger or scorn— but of love.
They fought because they cherished her.
What do I even do in this situation? Fluffy never even had suitors because of how overprotective Dad was. Only Elian...
The moment she thought of his name Bianca’s cheeks flushed.
"I want to take your daughter—Bianca Valestra of Fralhame—as my wife. It may not happen immediately, but I wish to spend the rest of my days with her in peace. For that, I will destroy any world, any Tyrant the crucible throws my way."
Wife. The word alone made her brain short circuit. Despite Elian being suppressed by Adamant - Heartless, he still managed to make her heart skip a beat. This was after he proposed to her as a Tyrant.
Despite being nothing more than a golem. Elian’s eyes burned like small suns that scorched Bianca’s soul. She couldn’t look away. It was as if one of the protagonists of the stories she had read came to life.
Ugh. I can’t even think properly. I feel like I’m floating...
Bianca then looked at the golden marble beside her.
"Fluffy... I wish you were here already... I don’t know what to do."
Despite not having experience with men, Fluffy would at least give her thoughts about the matter. There were so many things to consider, and Bianca was at a loss at how she should respond.
A large shadow then shielded Bianca from the sun.
"During times like these, Daughter, you must let the men vent their lust for battle. They will calm down soon. Afterwards, it is our duty to deal with their lust for life. Such is a privilege, only we, their wives possess."
So cool.
Earlier, when Elian and Bastion were about to come to blows, Silent moved. She diffused the entire situation without saying a word. It was a strength Bianca had never seen before. It neither screamed nor harmed but in that moment, Silent controlled everything.
Her cheeks flushed, "Mom...Elian and I aren’t actually married yet."
Silent tilted her head but smiled mischievously. Her eyes narrowed like daggers. It reminded Bianca of Fluffy but different. Unlike Fluffy’s lecherous face, Silent had an air of sophistication. Like a queen.
"Oh? But Whisper said that Elian followed Earth’s customs and gave you a dowry?"
Dowry? Ah she must have meant the ring. Ring? Wait! I forgot to take it!
Bianca placed her hand on her temple in irritation. Fluffy was the one who disrupted Elian’s proposal with her nonsense. Unable to deal with her emotions, Bianca ended up manufacturing Cinderglass to not think of the matter.
"Uhm, I accepted to be his Anchor, but not actually his wife. I wasn’t able to receive the ring."
"Hmm... Is that so? I should go talk to my son-in-law. I am well in years, I wish to see my grandchildren before I pass."
Silent dropping bombs like they were nothing made Bianca’s heart go wild. While she did consider Elian extremely important, she couldn’t even process what it meant to be married to him.
I mean Elian is a really good person. He is kind, affectionate and reliable. I didn’t even know someone like him could exist among the humans.
Bianca found her eyes naturally drifting towards Elian. She watched him fight off a predator many times his size. His tyranny, his brutality, it would terrify anyone. Yet only to her did he show his smile, his weakness, his scars.
It made Bianca feel special.
She found herself touching her lips absentmindedly. The witch pictured what it would feel to kiss Elian’s lips for real. Would he be kind and gentle? Or maybe rough and overbearing? Somehow, she found herself curious about both.
How could we even do—that? Neither of us have a human body for one. I guess I could possess a comatose patient or something. I’ll have to figure that out later.
Bianca shook her head at how filthy her mind became. Who would believe that she of all people would be wondering about kiss and doing THAT.
Ugh this is Fluffy’s fault. And maybe Mom too.
Mom. It was a word she couldn’t recall using when she was human. Yet in Fluffy’s memories it represented the large wolf beside her right now. An ally that would kill and die for your sake. She represented wisdom, strength and safety.
The word still felt foreign but like a drug, Bianca grew addicted to it. However, her thoughts made her bite her lips in frustration.
I am nothing but a lie. I am not really their child. I am just a con artist taking advantage of their kindness. All because I have memories of their daughter.
A seed of fear began to sprout from Bianca’s heart. She didn’t want to act on it. But felt that not doing so was a betrayal of Fluffy, Bastion and Silent. The witch once again gazed at her Weapon.
Elian would never run away. He would take on everything and find a way to make it work. If I am to stand by him, I cannot remain running forever. Yes. I can do this.
Steeling her will, Bianca took in a deep breath and called out to Silent with much difficulty.
"Mom?"
The beautiful Snow Wolf with a purple streak on its mane looked over. Befitting the name Silent, she was soft spoken and a wolf of few words. Yet in Bianca’s memories she always stood by Bastion in every major battle and conflict in Fralhame.
Yet anyone who saw that purple streak either sighed in relief or shivered in fear depending on which side they were on. It was a trait both Bastion and Silent shared. It marked them as part of the same family.
For Snow Wolves, age brought with it a thickening of the neck fur—what they proudly called their manes. With mana, they shaped and colored them into displays of lineage, power, and personality.
"Yes, Daughter?"
Bianca’s body trembled. The words she wanted to say got stuck into her throat. Was there really a need to rock the boat? She had managed to get a family after so long. One that actually cared about her.
So what if it is a lie? I can play the fool if it means I can be with them.
Suddenly she felt the soft and silky hair of her mother brushing against her skin. As it to reassure her, Silent rubbed her face on Bianca gently. It radiated affection, especially when Bianca saw her do it many times in Fluffy’s memories.
Bianca froze at the sudden gesture of her adoptive mother. Apart from Elian’s metal, Snow wolves who embedded mana in their fur were things she could touch and feel. Her heart pounded in anxiousness and fear of shattering her relationship with Silent Frozen Star.
But then the gentle mother spoke, "Daughter, whatever it is that terrifies you, set your mind at ease. We, your pack will stand by you even if it means our end. Be at peace, you will never be alone again so long as I am alive."
Bianca broke down in sobs and hugged Silent in a fluster, "M-Mom..."
"Yes, Daughter."
"Mom..."
"Yes, Bianca. Mommy is here."

After a few moments, Bianca laid her body on Silent. Like a fluff addict, she rubbed her face on her mother’s silky coat.
"Mom?"
"Yes, Daughter. Have you calmed down?"
"I’m sorry about earlier."
"Fufu. Think nothing of it. It is what Moms are for."
"..."
"Now, tell me—what’s troubling you?"
"Promise you won’t get angry?"
"I promise."
"I’ve been wondering... why did you and Dad accept me so easily? I know of you from Fluffy’s memories, but you didn’t. I am grateful. So grateful. But—I also feel like I am a fake."
At Bianca’s words Silent rolled her shoulder which moved Bianca to her front paw.
"Bianca, my daughter. Have you ever wondered why Whisper’s streak is gold and not purple?"
"I-I never thought about it before."
"That’s because I am barren. I cannot have children. Fluffy is the sole survivor of a pack that fought in the Fralhame’s first crucible war. Bastion and I found her buried among the dead."
"Fluffy never mentioned it before..."
"Yes, she wouldn’t know. She was too young to remember. To answer your question, Bianca. In Fralhame, families are tied not by blood but choice. And when we heard you declare us as your parents, Bastion and I considered you ours from that moment on."
"I-I..."
Silent nuzzles her face to Bianca, "You hold parts of Fluffy’s mana in your own. So, when you said you knew us, we understood it to be true. So long as you wish for me to be your mother, so I shall be."
"Mom..." Bianca sobbed.
"Oh my, what a crypuppy. So, tell me, my daughter—what would you choose? I am neither strong, nor have riches to my name. From the understanding of humans, I am nothing more than a beast. Do you still wish for me to be your mother?"
"YES MOM! NOW AND FOREVER!"
