"Natsuki-kun, you really do surprise me," Orochimaru said, his smile full of amusement. "You're actually daring enough to invite me to your wedding. Aren't you afraid I'll do something nasty?"
"Would you dare?" Natsuki's tone made it clear he was completely unbothered.
"Hehehe… I suppose I wouldn't," Orochimaru admitted. "After all, Natsuki-kun is an existence that surpasses even the Sage of Six Paths. Right now, all I want is to conduct my experiments properly. I have no desire to die."
"Then there you go."
Natsuki wasn't worried about Orochimaru pulling anything. Sending the invitation was simply a matter of attitude.

Suigetsu looked devastated. His dream was basically finished.
He really did have some nerve. Even Kirigakure hadn't dared ask for those blades back yet, and here he was, demanding them first—he had a death wish.

And just like that, the happy-bickering pair started fighting again.
Tenten couldn't help feeling amused. She and Natsuki weren't bloodthirsty demons who killed without blinking—how had Karin gotten scared to this extent? Karin was way too timid.
Natsuki and Tenten didn't linger long. They soon left.
After that came the rest of the wedding preparations.
They had to hire an emcee to arrange the venue and rehearse every step of the ceremony. They had to get the restaurant to handle the banquet. They had to purchase all kinds of supplies. In short—there was plenty to keep them busy.
And in the blink of an eye, the day arrived.
Guests from every village began to pour into Konoha. Thanks to the war, everyone was already familiar with one another, and the village became lively and bustling overnight.
Quite a few people even started comparing gifts with each other—some delighted, some miserable.
Fortunately, the shop owner had reserved enough hotel rooms in advance, so none of the guests had to worry about having nowhere to stay.
Money wasn't an issue. No matter how many people came, he could arrange it. This was his precious daughter's life event, and every guest was more impressive than the last—he couldn't afford to lose face on accommodations.
Natsuki didn't have time to meet friends one by one. Instead, he kept checking every part of the process together with his bargain-priced father-in-law, only relaxing once they confirmed nothing could go wrong.
That morning, firecrackers started going off early.
Natsuki changed into the groom's outfit. Under the gaze of countless friends and family, he led Tenten from the ninja tool shop back toward home.
There were many styles of weddings in the shinobi world—some leaned Japanese, some Western, some Chinese. After discussing it, Natsuki and Tenten chose a more Chinese-style ceremony.
Tenten wore a red qipao, and after she was all made up, she looked even more dazzling. The moment Natsuki reached out to her, he just stared, completely stunned.
Behind them, some people tossed flower petals, others set off firecrackers. Friends and family followed along the whole way. The shop owner even asked Konohamaru and Moegi to help hand out candy and blessings, making everything loud, festive, and packed with joy.
Once they reached the new home, and with friends and family as witnesses, they went through a whole series of steps. At last, the wedding ceremony was complete.
It wasn't overly complicated, but it was more than festive enough.
All the gifts had already been collected by staff the shop owner arranged in advance, so Natsuki and Tenten didn't need to manage any of that. After the ceremony, they still had to go table-to-table to toast the guests and thank them.
Led by the emcee, Natsuki, Tenten, and the shop owner carried drinks to the head table first.
This table was filled with Kage: A the Raikage, Ōnoki the Tsuchikage, Mei the Mizukage, Gaara the Kazekage, Konoha's four Hokage, plus Mifune, the leader of the Land of Iron, and Shibuki, the leader of Takigakure.
Toasting the Kage first was a sign of respect.
All the Kage stood and raised their cups with full courtesy.
As for Natsuki and Tenten, they still couldn't drink alcohol—because shinobi weren't allowed to drink before the age of twenty. It was an absurd rule, but there was nothing to do about it, so they used plain water instead. The one actually "drinking" for them was the shop owner.
But just as the water was poured, Tenten suddenly clutched her stomach and cried out.
Tsunade froze, immediately grabbed Tenten's wrist—and then smiled as she knocked her knuckles against Natsuki's forehead. "Good boy! Congratulations! Your wife's got one!"
The sudden announcement stunned the entire room into silence.
And then the uproar hit.
Friends immediately left their seats and crowded in, staring at Tenten in disbelief.
Megumi even came over to check personally and nodded with complete certainty. "That's right. Tenten really is pregnant—she's been pregnant for a month."
Natsuki and Tenten looked at each other and instantly thought of the fact that about a month ago… they had stopped using protection. For a moment, they were both a little embarrassed—then that embarrassment turned straight into joy.
The shop owner downed a mouthful of alcohol and grinned so wide he couldn't close his mouth. "Hahaha! I'm going to be a grandpa! I'm going to be a grandpa!"
Everyone began offering congratulations at once:
"Congratulations, congratulations! Double happiness!"
"Shop owner, with news this big, we're drinking until we drop today!"

One by one, the suggestions got more and more outrageous. But his father-in-law truly was delighted. He hurriedly poured himself another cup, still smiling as he kept making the rounds to toast.
Before long, he was actually a little drunk—drunk enough to sling an arm over A's shoulders.
Natsuki didn't stop him. After finishing one more table of toasts, he took Tenten specifically over to their friends' circle. Their friends thoughtfully moved the fish and meat aside so Tenten wouldn't feel uncomfortable.
