Chapter 502: Chapter 500 Don’t Even Think About It [2nd Update]

Jane Spencer took a deep breath and smiled indifferently.

After laughing, she widened her eyes and stared intently at Liam Spencer, asking, "Brother, are you crazy? You dare speak such nonsense, did Maya Spencer drug you?"

"You don’t believe she returned, slept with you a few times, coddled you twice, and you’re completely bewitched?"

"Ella Turner said I gave her false evidence, does she have anything to back it up? Did she photograph it? She and Maya Spencer are in cahoots, don’t you know? Maya is trying to drive a wedge between us siblings, and you can’t even see that?"

"It’s funny, isn’t it? Instead of me killing you, it’s more accurate to say Maya killed you. Don’t forget, that woman has feelings for my ex-husband, Lillian Morris. She even eloped with him, or did you forget that? She’s orchestrating this whole charade to win your trust and seize the chance to destroy you, as revenge for three years ago."

"As for Aron Hanson’s matter, he did kill Ethan Turner. Maya got kidnapped because of her own greed for Hanson Clan Group, so Arthur River attacked her, what does that have to do with me? If you think I did these things, kindly present evidence to support your claims, thank you."

Listening to Liam’s accusations, Jane felt no guilt; instead, she shifted everything onto Maya, since Liam didn’t have evidence against her, she completely denied it, knowing no one could do anything to her.

Moreover, Maya truly liked Lillian, so since Liam was so protective of the Hanson Family, she’d reveal Liam’s wounds to make him uncomfortable.

Beside Liam, Elijah Reed was astonished by Jane’s wild claims, staring at her without blinking.

He’d heard people talk nonsense before, but never to this extent; it truly opened his eyes, leaving him astounded, almost suffocating himself with anger.

Her words undeniably made Liam uncomfortable, because she mentioned the one person he least wanted to remember—Lillian Morris, the man Maya had secretly loved for three years.

Even though he now had a good relationship with Maya, that’s because Lillian wasn’t there. Liam couldn’t imagine what would happen if Lillian were still in S City—what state his and Maya’s relationship would be in? Would that guy willingly stay by his side? Liam didn’t know.

But, discomfort aside, he wasn’t foolish enough to be swayed by Jane’s attempts at causing discord; otherwise, how would he differ from fools like Arthur River and Ella Turner?

Moreover, he was disinclined to listen to Jane’s nonsense, so he raised his right hand and gripped Jane’s chin, coldly saying, "I hope when you’re in court, you’ll be as eloquent, able to talk your way out."

With that, he released her chin, turned around, and stormed off angrily.

Elijah watched Liam leave and, looking at Jane disdainfully, reminded, "Miss, we’ve found the hit-and-run driver; they’re adamant you instructed them, you won’t escape this, prepare for prosecution!"

Elijah knew Liam’s visit to Jane was merely to probe her, so as he left, he tossed her a piece of baseless evidence.

Jane listened to Elijah’s threats, and merely laughed coldly. Elijah wanting to trick her? He was still too inexperienced.

Inside Liam’s car, Elijah cautiously asked the glum Liam, "Boss, Miss’s words are too harsh, it’s almost impossible to win against them."

"If there’s no way, we’ll create one," Liam said coldly.

"Oh..." Elijah suddenly understood how to deal with Jane.

Thinking to himself, the boss truly is ruthless; when determined to bring someone down, he won’t hold back—even if that person is his sister, he won’t show mercy.

At Aron Hanson’s villa, after Liam and Elijah left, Jane quickly changed her clothes and headed to the hospital to visit Aron.

Even though her façade with Liam was torn apart, and Aron also doubted her, she had to keep up appearances. If not, she’d give others fodder for gossip, causing a storm she refused to allow.

Despite her simmering rage, despite her desire to strangle Maya and Aron with her own hands, she restrained herself.

So, thirty minutes later, she knocked on Aron’s hospital room door.

"Come in." The familiar male voice annoyed Jane greatly, yet she still opened the door with a smiling face.

She looked at Aron lying nonchalantly on the bed reading a magazine and quickly approached the bed, sat beside him, took his hand, and said with concern, "Husband, you scared me to death. I cried all the way back from abroad, but thankfully you’re okay."

With that, Jane wrapped her arms around Aron, seemingly showing genuine concern.

Facing Jane’s false compassion, Aron felt extreme revulsion and refused to play along, since Liam and Maya already trusted him and he had no need to act lovingly anymore.

Therefore, he raised his right hand, disdainfully removed her arms from around his neck, and said coldly, "Jane, be sincere."

Jane heard Aron’s accusation and felt aggrieved, her eyes reddened as she pitifully said, "Aron, do you doubt me too? What did I do wrong?"

"Jane, are you disappointed I’m not dead? Can you stop acting? It’s disgusting." Aron had never despised a person so much, loathing her with complete disdain.

"Why does everyone believe Maya and not me? Aron, tell me, since we married, have I ever taken advantage of you? It’s Maya wanting shares, not me. The one plotting your imprisonment is her, not me. The Arthur River incident is unrelated to me; I didn’t have her kidnap Maya."

On Aron’s side, Jane once again used the issue of Maya wanting shares to sow discord.

If it were before the car accident, Aron might have been swayed by her claims and grown cautious towards Maya.

But now, no matter how much Jane talked, he wouldn’t believe her.

At this moment, he saw Jane as a clown, each of her seemingly sincere words and expressions was repulsive and ugly.

Thus, he merely coldly laughed at Jane and said, "Jane, drop the act, I won’t divorce you."

"Do you think sending evidence to the police will seal my fate? Do you expect to inherit my estate after I die? I tell you, it’s impossible; don’t think your actions are flawless—you can’t escape. So, I won’t divorce you, because I want you to hold onto that tiny fantasy until imprisoned."

"Even given the worst scenario, even if you successfully frame me for the car accident, you won’t get a penny from the Hanson family. My will is already written; all my shares and assets go to Maya, you won’t see a cent."

Jane heard Aron had written his will and turned pale with anger, yet dared not speak.

She tried to calm her breathing, ensuring she didn’t give herself away.
