Omnipotent Husband System-Chapter 541: Leisure?

Hao Ren arranged for his disciples to stay inside the palace before he moved around to look for his wife. He had been away for two months, and it was time he saw her and showed her some due love.

The young man moved around the place and after a few minutes, he came to stop before the imperial study and as he did, he located the Han Lingshi inside the study. He sighed and mumbled, "How come this lady is still working? What is Xiao Mei doing?"

He knocked on the door, and was about to go inside, when the door was flung open from inside, and Hao Mei appeared before him. She looked at Hao Ren and was surprised before she asked, "When did you come back?"

Hao Ren replied, "Just now, where is Lingshi, I thought she was here since I could not sense her anywhere else."

Hao Mei sighed and replied, "Your beloved wife has been abducted by Empress Dowager. She heard Lingshi was expecting and you went out, oh Ren, you in for it."

Hao Ren furrowed his brows and asked, "Big Sis, is the old lady regaining her temper?"

Hao Mei smiled as if a flower blooming. She said, "You will know when you go to the north."

Hao Ren scratched his head and said, "I just got two new disciples, and this old couple is making me run all over."

Hao Mei chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, they are not in the Hao Family Mansion, but a secluded manor build for the old couple to retire. Can you imagine? Old Boy Hao got his lifelong dream of a secluded manor fulfilled. Yin and Agnee are there, you can take your disciples there too."

Hao Ren sighed and asked, "Where is Yang?"

Hao Mei smiled and replied his question, "He is serving as the Imperial Prince in rotation with the other two. We need a member of the Royal Family in the Palace to meet with various dignitary figures. I have to look after the security so, the Warring Princess cannot meet with guests of the royal family and discuss politics."

Hao Ren was confused and said, "Since when did Yang qualify to handle politics with other governors? He is a saber maniac like Peng."

Hao Mei replied, "He is good at all of it, as long as he is taught. Xiao Mei is teaching him and he is doing really well."

Hao Mei gave him a jade card and said, "Get going. If you want to teach your disciples properly, take them with you. None of the Ye Generals are free at the moment. They have gone out to teach commoners in various camps."

Hao Ren was surprised and questioned, "What about the capital and the security?"

Hao Mei shook her head and replied, "The society is clean and the police forces that we have developed are good. The power is centralized so with the constant monitoring we have been able to keep everything free from corruption."

Hao Mei took his hand and led him through the corridor while she narrated many things that have been done to accelerate the growth of the society. Xiao Mei have taken care of everything slowly and step by step she has made a system which was self sustaining and the people had enough time to practice and cultivate.

Hao Ren sighed and said, "I guess, giving her a body was the best shot. Now you all can pose around as officials and enjoy the wind of corruption."

Hao Mei chuckled and led him to a protected Teleportation Array. Hao Ren said, "Call my disciples over, Lan is arranging things for them."

Hao Mei nodded and shortly after, the two astounded teenagers came over. Hao Ren said, "Hiro, Jiro, this is my elder sister Hao Mei, you will greet her as Eldest Martial Aunt."

The two greeted her with a bow, and Hao Mei looked at Jiro she took out a long sword and said, "Your weapon is good, but this one will help you to go further. This is called Bai Xue."

It was a snow white blade, and Hao Ren raised his brow before he asked, "I thought you were saving this."

Hao Mei nodded and replied, "I was saving it until I realized that the ice element vanished. It is suitable for her. It will teach her how to handle a sword with sharper edge."

Hao Ren nodded and Hao Mei took out a set of gauntlets and gave them to Hiro, who bowed in gratitude. Hao Ren looked at his elder sister and said, "Hey, you all are acting like walking treasuries. I will come back and check the vaults, if I find anything missing, I am impeaching you all."

Hao Mei chuckled and she knew he was being dramatic and said, "Get lost, the royal family has a smaller void access card for the vaults and it only works within the palace limits. Only three are issued. Yours is kept by Lingshi. Just so you know, I am a saint now as well. Who in their right minds will come to seek trouble with me?"

Hao Ren sighed and turned around as he walked towards the teleportation array, he mumbled, "Always flexing to me, hmph, I am a second grade saint now, do you understand? Bully."

Hao Mei shook her head and said, "Hiro, Jiro, don’t mind his rambling, at home, he is an overgrown drama queen."

The two wanted to laugh but they didn’t and followed their master. The teleportation formation worked and the trio vanished from the place.

Hao Ren appeared in the garden and ahead of him stood a huge simple two floor villa. As soon as he appeared, a figure flickered before him and he smiled, "Yin, you have grown stronger."

Yin revealed a blooming smile and said, "Welcome home, Baba."

Hao Ren reached out to pat her head and he saw Yin looking past him. He smiled and replied, "This is Hiro and Jiro. They are my disciples. Hiro is an artifact refiner and Jiro is a sword fanatic. You can guide her through the basics, but be patient and gentle."

Then he said, "Hiro, Jiro. This is Yin, she is my eldest daughter and your eldest senior sister."

The two youngsters bowed to greet and Yin reciprocated. Hao Ren said, "Where is that little troublemaker?"

As soon as he said this, he heard a complaining voice, "Grandmaaa! Baba is calling me a troublemaker!"

This voice belonged to Agnee, and followed by it came the voice of Tang Zen, Empress Dowager of the Hao Family, "He dares! This loofer wanders around all over the place like a scourge. Dare he call my grand-daughter with silly names. Hmph, Old Hao, are you going to discipline that boy or not?"

Then Hao Ren saw his father coming over with an indifferent face, as his face spelled, ’Why do you do such things? You disrupted my peace the moment you stepped in this world, you rascal.’

Hao Ren walked over to greet his father and he said, "Yin, take them inside."

He smiled at his old man and said, "Yo! Old Boy Hao, you are looking rather young for your age."

Old Man Hao sensed a twitch develop at the corner of his lips and a belt appeared in his hands, as he said, "You dare to use that word to address your father, punk? Just because you have become a second grade saint you want to rebel?"

The father and son bickered for a bit, this was their traditional way of catching up. Hiro and Jiro watched this scene until they were inside the house, when they spotted two figures, one young and one old sitting on a couch. The old lady seemed to be knitting something while the young one was sitting crossed leg.

As she sensed the people coming in, Tang Zen raised her head and was curious. Yin introduced the two people and said, "She is Grandma."

That was it, Hiro and Jiro understood what it meant and bowed deeply to greet Tang Zen who smiled and said, "From now, you two little guys can also call me Grandma. If that boy dares to be too hard on you, tell me, I will straighten him out."

However, at this moment, Agnee and Yin said, "No!"

Tang Zen was surprised and Yin said, "Grandma, being soft to yourself is to be cruel. If they wish to be strong, they have to work harder. None will interfere."

Tang Zen sighed and she looked at Agnee who looked at Hiro and asked, "Are you an artifact refining apprentice?"

Hiro nodded and then looked at Yin, who gave the introduction. The two teenagers bowed again, they were the youngest in this house. Agnee smiled and said, "I feel relieved to not be the youngest in the family anymore."

Just then, a calm voice sounded, "Agnee, did you hide the cake again?"

Han Lingshi walked over, and the bulge on her stomach was evident. Hao Ren had no idea that this visit would be anything but leisurely.
