Omnipotent Husband System-Chapter 544: Tribulations.

Inside Hao Ren’s mind, there was a storm. He found himself standing in a battlefield and the person against him was himself. Hao Ren was confused when his doppleganger attacked him. The situation had been thrown at him all of a sudden, he had no idea how to handle it, however, he could not back off just like that could he?

He clenched his fist and attacked the guy coming at him. The blows were exchanged and Hao Ren found that this guy was not only as strong as him, but he was also matching his attacks perfectly. The clash shook the world, but that was it.

After a thousand exchanges, Hao Ren suddenly did something that he didn’t intend to. He stopped fighting and retreated. Then he clenched his fist and punched himself in the abdomen. To his surprise, the clone did the same. It was that exact moment when Hao Ren charged ahead and hit the guy who was caught off guard, because earlier he didn’t use strength, he just pretended to be attack himself.

The blow to the head was the cherry on the top, the clone scattered into particles. Hao Ren took a deep breath and the scenery morphed around him. He opened his eyes and found himself back on the peak of the Titan mountains. He sighed, ’What the fuck was that?’

*Tribulation, one down eight to go. Good job.*

Hao Ren realized what it was and shook his head before going to back to cultivation and condensing the third crystal. This time he was mentally prepared, and he was contemplating what could be the next obstacle that the tribulation would bring him. After all, his own self was the first obstacle.

However, as he thought about it, he found that the clone was merely mimicking him, how could this be a challenge. As he thought about it, he began to mix Dao Runes with true essence and condensed the third crystal. The scenery changed again, this time he stood facing five clones.

Hao Ren sighed, and then he got into battle once again. This time, the clones were not copying him but they all seemed to have combined the data gathered from the fight earlier and were using it against him. They were fighting rather ferociously and Hao Ren was frowning as he fought, and he discovered that his previous trick would not work.

The young man continued to fend off the attacks, before he suddenly invoked the flames inside him. The cloud of flames surrounded the clones and then Hao Ren dashed forward using the distraction and defeated the clones one by one. He found that as soon as he defeated one of them, the gap in their coordination appeared and with time he got the chances to defeat them.

The scenery changed and Hao Ren woke up once more, the system spoke, *Two down, seven to go.*

Hao Ren took a few minutes to calm down, and then he began condensing the True Essence with the Dao Runes. He was now getting faster in terms of condensing the True Dao Crystals.

He was ready to condense his fourth crystal, but after thinking about it, he decided to stand up and took out his sword and began to practice sword arts. The system asked, *What’s up?*

Hao Ren replied, ’I was just thinking if the clones in my mind would know my sword skills if I used it in advance, if so, then let me see the results.’

*Did you realize that the harder you fight during the tribulation the better and clearer your crystal becomes?*

Hao Ren nodded and the system fell silent. The young man didn’t take long, he sat down after an hour, and closed his eyes, the true essence in his body moved and so did the Dao Runes. The young man took a deep breath and didn’t hurry, he choose the dao of sword to be embedded in his fourth crystal. This was also one of his experiments, to see if this specified action also had an effect on the results.

As soon as the crystal condensed the young man again found himself standing in the battlefield. In front of him stood ten clones, and as the battle began, they showcased all the new moves with an even better coordination and this spelled trouble for Hao Ren because it would take an even longer time for him to move forward.

However, he couldn’t back off, so he kept on going, one guy at a time, and after locating that slightest gap in the coordination he used his best moves to counter it. Hao Ren had not been fighting with many people in a long time and he was basically overpowered against when it came to facing his enemies, and in the true sense these people were his biggest obstacles.

The tribulation lasted an hour, but then it came to an end, and Hao Ren came out of it only to lay down on his back. He sighed and said, "Damn, it was tiring."

*Did you think it would be easy? People take years to do what you did in one day. Also, the last round, be careful.*

There were still six rounds left and Hao Ren rested a little before he got back to it. The confrontations became difficult with every round, the quality and quantity of the clones increased, and the crystals in his dantian became clearer with every round that he passed.

In the eighth round, Hao Ren came face to face with just one clone, and that guy had all his abilities, could use the same amount of power, and pushed the young man against the wall really quickly. However, Hao Ren was also clever, he used the chance to learn from this clone.

Every punch, every slash, every kick, he optimized till the moment he was on par with the clone against him. The battle went on for days, and even weeks passed but Hao Ren didn’t rest, nor did he know how much time has passed outside, on his body their was a layer of dust, because his spiritual energy was circulating on the inside.

Suddenly, Hao Ren surpassed his limits and stood a margin above the clone. That was the moment, eight tribulation came to an end.
