Hao Ren lay flat on the cold rock, and his eyes gazed at the blue sky above him vacantly. This was the final step he needed to take before legitimately ending in the Heaven Rank. Hao Ren appeared in the battlefield once again. He looked around to find his opponent but to the surprise there was no one. He was confused and all of a sudden his body felt as if it was crushed by a mountain.

Hao Ren was very strong, he was probably among the top ten entities on the two continents at the moment but even his body was crushed by the pressure. Within a moment he was down on his knees. He was struggling to keep breathing and a voice echoed in his mind, "With just this you wish to move ahead? Pathetic."

Hao Ren could hear the voice was echoing directly inside his mind, and he recognized the owner of this voice but the voice sounded very cold. Hao Ren didn't have any time to engage in a conversation with the entity and simply focused on getting used to the pressure on his body. Without handling this, he wouldn't be able to even speak.

After several moments, Hao Ren managed to catch his breath, however, the pressure was still going strong. It didn't let up, and the young man said, "You are me, I presume from the future. Aren't you?"

The voice replied, "Yes, I am, but what about it? I am the supreme form that you can ever achieve. However, for that you would have to make some sacrifices. If not, then you should stay as you are, why try to advance at all?"

Hao Ren replied, "I will not make any sacrifice and I will move forward, even if it means to die. You should fuck off."

His voice was calm but his intent was stern. The voice fell silent from one answer, Hao Ren didn't want to know more, he said, "If you are something that I become after giving up on my beliefs then, you should fuck off."

That was all, his words echoed like a thunderclap around the scene. The world in his mind shook, and gradually the scene changed and the battlefield turned into a prairie, and the pressure suppressing him vanished as he stood up from the ground and looked around in awe.
