Chapter 49: The Reunion

Rakim screamed, recoiling as pain shot through his hand. Enraged, he slapped her across the face. Her lip split on impact, warm blood filling her mouth, but she didn’t look away.

She glared at him with pure hatred.

She would rather die than let him touch her.

"Shit!" Rakim snarled. "You stupid bitch, you shouldn’t have done that"

"I think you’re the one who shouldn’t have done that."

The voice cut through the warehouse like a blade.

Rakim spun around, panic flooding his face as he fumbled for his gun. A tall figure stepped forward from the shadows, his face obscured by darkness.

Before Rakim could pull the trigger, a shot rang out.

He collapsed instantly.

Blood sprayed across the concrete floor.

Lena gagged, retching violently, but only water came out as her body shook.

From the shadows, the man stepped closer.

"Please, please, don’t kill me." Lena pleaded in horror, her voice shaking uncontrollably as tears streamed down her face. Her eyes darted between the dead man sprawled on the floor and the closed door, as though expecting someone else to walk in and finish what had already begun.

Her entire body trembled. Her hands were numb from being tied for so long, and her throat felt tight with terror. Just when she thought her heart would give out, a familiar shadow slowly appeared within her sight. Her breathing stalled.

"How could it be?"

"Why would I want to kill my kitten?"

Raymond’s voice boomed through the room as he stepped into Lena’s line of sight, his tall figure calm and composed, completely unfazed by the scene before him. "You are far more valuable to me alive than dead."

The moment Lena saw him clearly, she burst into uncontrollable tears. Her strength gave out as relief washed over her.

"You came?"

"Yes, I did," Raymond replied lazily. He yawned as though he had just been woken from sleep. "I hope I get a reward from you this time. Saving you was not easy."

Lena let out a shaky laugh through her tears. She felt grateful, overwhelmingly so. She had truly believed she was going to die here. Yet again, he had appeared. He was always there whenever she needed help, no matter how dangerous the situation was.

Raymond stretched out his hand. On cue, Roman, who had been silent since their exchange, stepped forward with a knife and placed it in Raymond’s palm before stepping back.

Raymond approached Lena and rubbed her head gently before using the knife to cut through the ropes binding her. The moment he was done, Lena lunged at him, delivering several weak punches to his stomach.

"You jerk!" she cried. "You left without telling me anything, and now you just appear whenever you like. What do you take me for?"

"My kitten," Raymond replied, clearly amused by her fluctuating emotions. One moment she was terrified, the next she was fiery and bold. He allowed her to hit him until she tired out, then suddenly grabbed her chin and kissed her fiercely, without care for the surroundings.

Roman immediately turned away and left the room.

Lena struggled to break free, but Raymond held her firmly, savoring the feel of her lips he had missed for weeks. His hands roamed her body possessively. She tried to push him away, but he was hard as rock. Desperate, she bit his lip.

"That is what you get for behaving unruly," Raymond muttered, tasting the blood on his lips. The metallic taste only fueled something darker in his eyes.

Lena noticed the look and immediately bolted for the door.

Raymond let her go. He called Roman back inside and instructed him on what to do with the dead body, his tone cold and detached.

Outside, Raymond found Lena leaning against a tree, staring straight at the building. Her eyes still carried resentment directed at him. He chuckled softly. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Let’s go home, kitten. You reek."

"Aren’t you supposed to be at your engagement?" Lena shot back.

"Of course I am," Raymond replied calmly. "But here I am, saving you again. I’m beginning to think you love the game of hide and seek."

"How is it my fault that things like this keep happening to me?" Lena said, feeling aggrieved and dejected. Her eyes turned red again.

"Of course it’s not your fault," Raymond said. "You just have a magnet that keeps bringing trouble close to you. Let’s go home. We can talk about the rest on our ride."

He stretched out his hand. Lena hesitated before taking it. They walked toward the car where Sullivan was already waiting. She assumed he had parked far away to avoid alerting the kidnappers.

The ride home was silent. Neither Lena nor Raymond spoke. The weight of everything that had happened lingered heavily between them.

Once they arrived, Lena hurried straight to her room. When she looked at herself in the mirror, her face twisted in horror. She looked terrible, her hair disheveled, her eyes swollen, her clothes nearly falling apart.

She touched her lips and tried to smell her breath, nearly choking in embarrassment.Shame washed over her.

She rushed into the bathroom, her mind reeling with memories of how Raymond had kissed her earlier. She wondered how he could stand the stench without even showing it on his face. She scrubbed herself thoroughly, refusing to come out until she felt clean again.

After more than an hour, Lena finally emerged fresh and clean.

She dressed in a white robe and fluffy slippers, letting her hair fall freely. She went to look for

Raymond and found him in his office by the window, having a heated phone call. The moment he noticed her, his eyes roamed her body before he hung up.

His gaze darkened as it lingered on her pale skin.

"Come here, Lena."

She wanted to refuse, but her feet betrayed her.

"You know I’m supposed to be at my engagement today," he said calmly.

He loosened the tie of her robe, and it slipped open.

Lena missed his touch too much to fully process his words. They were never serious anyway, she told herself. Why should she care? This was what she craved.

"You have a beautiful body, Lena."

Her heart pounding, she grabbed his neck and kissed him. Their tongues clashed, seeking dominance. She broke the kiss suddenly.

"Is she better than me?"

Raymond remained silent, his eyes roaming her exposed chest.

Lena slapped his chest. "Is this all you want from me? My body?"

"Know your place, kitten," Raymond said dangerously low. "This is a contract relationship. Your body is mine during this period. Did you forget what the contract states?"

"I want to terminate the contract."

"The hell you will," he snapped. "You can only leave if I let you."

He grabbed her, tore off her robe, and turned her around. His hand wrapped around her neck as he leaned close to her ear.

"You don’t know me," he said. "That’s why I’ve been merciful. From now on, we honor the contract fully."

With that bend her over on his desk and forcefully took her from behind, his trust aggressive and forceful, the frustration of being around Cynthia and his family taking over, Lena enjoyed the hard trust at the beginning but when at one hour later and Raymond is still trusting she could help crying, her tears filled the room. Raymond changed position from the table to the sofa,.till he reached his first release for the night.

His heavy breathing filled his office, his length still pulsing inside her, her walls tightening around his length getting his arouse again.

Lena lay limp in his hands as he started kissing her again, slowly this time, he kissed her neck sucking it and leaving hickeys, he went to her boobs sucking it and nibbling, Lena’s moan filled the room, he put his finger into her sex, pleasuring her until she came, his eyes watching her intenting, enjoying every emotion that she display on her face, he sat down and made her straddle him, he put her onto his laps, her entrance at the tip of his length and forcefully pushed himself inside her, Lena moan loudly her eyes in disbelief as Raymond’s, two hands held her waist firmly in place as he savour the feel of his shaft inside her. The feeling of possession and control filled him whole as he looked at his kitten.

Soon his hips moved in slow rhythm before picking the pace. One of his hands moved to hold her neck. He continued hitting Lena in her good spots until she came, her body trembling beneath him, her breath uneven and broken. His release followed not too far from hers. He held her like that, unmoving, as his length poured out everything inside her, his eyes locked with hers.

When he was done, he took her to the bathroom to wash up, his hold firm but steady. Lena was already half asleep, her body heavy with exhaustion. He glanced down at himself and frowned slightly, his length was not anywhere near coming down, his gaze burned as his eyes settled on the hickeys and marks he made on her.
