Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 194 - 188 We Should Be Married (Part 10)
"Ji Anning, you want to marry Ji Jingfeng? Over my dead body. And even thinking about aborting the child is out of the question!"
Seeing the content of the message, Ji Anning’s mind buzzed, and her expression froze.
Seeing her like this, Jin Yuanyuan felt even more guilty. She quickly knelt down, hugged Ji Anning’s legs, and sincerely apologized to her.
"Anning, I really didn’t mean to see it, I swear, I won’t tell anyone, please don’t be mad at me, I’ll punish myself by drinking three cans of beer."
As she spoke, she tilted her head back and started chugging the beer she was holding.
Drinking too hastily to swallow properly, some of the beer spilled from the corners of her mouth. Ji Anning quickly reached out to snatch the beer away from her, stopping her.
Jin Yuanyuan looked up at her with a face full of remorse, "Anning, I really didn’t do it on purpose. If you’re not assured, you can take some duct tape or use a needle and thread to sew my mouth shut."
As she spoke, she pursed her lips to make it easier for Ji Anning to "sew."
Ji Anning looked at her seriously, struggled and hesitated for a long time before finally speaking, "Jin Yuanyuan, are you a reliable friend?"
She also needed to find someone... someone to talk to about him and the problems she was currently facing.
In reality, she had only met this girl twice. Although she quite liked her personality, it wasn’t enough for her to trust her. Asking her this question wasn’t so much about evaluating her based on her response.
She was merely looking for an outlet, either to gain some sound advice from her or to learn if she was unreliable. If she betrayed her, better sooner than later. That way, she wouldn’t have to agonize over it anymore.
Otherwise, she would go insane sooner or later.
"I don’t know if I’m reliable or not; I only know that I definitely won’t act one way in your presence and another behind your back, and I won’t betray a friend," Jin Yuanyuan replied earnestly, her gaze and expression still so sincere.
Ji Anning pressed her lips together and smiled, then leaned her head against the bedpost and asked Jin Yuanyuan, "Do you think death really brings relief?"
Jin Yuanyuan shook her head, "Of course not. If you die troubled, being a ghost must be troubling too."
Her lips slightly pouted, her expression as innocent as a child’s.
Ji Anning chuckled at her serious nonsense, "You really are quite humorous."
"I’ll drink with you," Jin Yuanyuan did not continue to press Ji Anning about the situation mentioned in the message. She got up to grab more drinks from the desk, saying as she walked, "Although drowning sorrows in booze only deepens them, that floating, ecstatic feeling is quite nice."
She hadn’t finished the can in her hand, so she only took another can for Ji Anning and handed it to her.
"I can’t drink," Ji Anning shook her head, her hands resting on her abdomen to remind Jin Yuanyuan.
Jin Yuanyuan wasn’t stupid. She instantly remembered and reacted, "Oh, I forgot."
So, she grabbed the two cans of beer, sat down next to Ji Anning, and alternately sipped from the can in each hand.
While drinking, she kept glancing at Ji Anning out of the corner of her eye, left and right, as if after much deliberation, she finally turned to face Ji Anning and said with a frown, worrying for her, "But you’re just a freshman, you’re only in your teens."
"Yeah," Ji Anning nodded, her lips curling into a wry smile.
Her hands continuously covered her abdomen, making her look like a mother overwhelmed with maternal affection, very gentle.
"Who is that person? Why are they threatening you like this?" Jin Yuanyuan asked indignantly. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Ji Anning said, "The person I love very much, the one who is always on my mind."
