Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 228 - 222 I Miss You! (14)
Ji Anning lowered her eyes and furrowed her brows in thought for a while, as if she had made some decision. She turned over, slowly got up, and leaned against the headboard.
Then, looking at Ji Chicheng, a blush crept onto her cheeks. She reached out a delicate, petite hand and waved at him gently, "Chicheng," she asked, "Could you please bend down a bit?"
Ji Chicheng had no idea what she was up to, and he wasn’t inclined to ask. When she asked him to bend, he simply did.
His tall figure leaned in, his commanding presence drawing closer. Ji Anning’s entire nervous system tensed up. She pursed her lips tightly, watching Ji Chicheng’s face drawing near. She hesitated, then stretched out her neck, and her soft lips gently grazed across Ji Chicheng’s cheek.
It was just a quick touch, fleeting like a shooting star, so fast that Ji Chicheng could not catch it, but it sent a thrill through his heart.
He looked at Ji Anning who had already lied back down, her cheeks flushed red, her hands tightly clutching the comforter up to cover half of her face, her gaze darting around, too bashful to look at Ji Chicheng’s face.
"How could just a peck on the cheek be enough?"
The man’s lips curled into a devilish smile, and in his cold eyes, the frost seemed to melt instantly, filling them with ambiguity and desire.
Ji Anning stared at him, wide-eyed, her small face showing shock.
She began to regret her impulse. She had been fixating on his face, to the point where her boundaries crumbled. Now, upon reflection, she felt immense regret.
She had actually taken the initiative to kiss him. Ji Anning, what are you trying to do? Are you really ready to throw caution to the wind?
"Again," he said.
As Ji Anning wallowed in self-blame, the man’s voice sounded above her again, but before she could react, his lips had already covered hers, sealing them shut.
Such a familiar kiss, such a familiar sensation, domineering yet laced with tenderness.
Ji Anning’s eyes widened, completely stunned. It took her a long while to come to her senses, but as she raised her hands, she didn’t know what to do next.
She craved this feeling, longed for his kiss, his breath, everything about him.
What to do? She was greedy. She... wanted to hold on to him, not wanting to let go.
Ji Chicheng’s kissing grew more intense. Men, in this realm, often have an innate gift, and for one as intellectually gifted as he was, that was an understatement.
With several not-for-public practices behind him, he was now thoroughly adept, leaving Ji Anning in a disheveled state, completely dominating the situation.
"That’s enough for today."
Just as Ji Anning was about to lose herself in passion, her hands having reached Ji Chicheng’s waist, Ji Chicheng suddenly withdrew his lips.
His tall figure straightened up without hesitation.
Ignoring Ji Anning’s gaze, he smacked his lips, savoring her taste. With a lingering desire, his tongue circled his lips.
A man licking his lips.
And doing so with such seductive flair, such... allure; truly, he was beyond compare!
Ji Anning’s face turned beet red. How could he be like this? Was this the same proud, cold young man, the same uncle who looked at people through his nostrils?
What to do? She had kissed him first, and then he kissed her, and she hadn’t resisted. How was she supposed to face him after this?
Ji Chicheng glanced down briefly, easily seeing through Ji Anning’s thoughts. He returned to his haughty demeanor, his voice somewhat cold, "Just now, when I kissed you, you felt something, you responded, you embraced me."
He said it calmly and confidently, while Ji Anning’s heart felt like it was pounding out of her chest, her face so flushed it seemed it might bleed.
