Chapter 16: Lower Realm

The Sacred Silk Realm has countless Lower Realms.

They fell into two categories, the first category being the extremely small Lower Realms where the world was only about 1 Million Kilometers wide.

Its highest cultivation was only the Star Emperor.

Then there was the Lower Realm which was more commonly called the Great World where the strongest were Ancient Sages.

To the people of the Lower Realm, the Great Worlds were where true experts gathered.

They didn’t really know about the Sacred Silk Realm above them. Only the peak experts knew because only they could sense it.

Most did not dare to leave until they were completely bored with their world.

To date, most Great Worlds didn’t have anyone who had ever returned since they went up.

Of course, it was not easy to descend downward from the Sacred Silk Realm. One had to become a Paragon first, but how many could become Paragons. Their numbers were too few compared to the countless inhabitants of the Sacred Silk Realm.

Asher brought Yi Mingxue to the Lower Realms.

There, there was a chaotic space with countless dimensions.

Those dimensions were interconnected with passageways where people could travel between dimensions as long as they found the passageway. Even Great Worlds could meet where experts from both worlds would fight for control of each other.

Once arriving in front of the countless dimensions, Asher stepped into one of them, followed by Yi Mingxue who did not ask at all about his purpose.

All she did was remove the armor she was wearing so that she could get back into her kimono dress.

Entering that dimension, they arrived on a vast world, containing millions of continents where even the smallest continents were equivalent in size to small worlds.

From above, Asher saw countless humans, from ordinary people to Great Sovereigns while the Ancient Sages were existences that were considered to be the world itself.

The Great Sovereigns had a status similar to the Great Paragons in the Sacred Silk Realm. They controlled the largest continents as their territory.

Each Great Sovereign was a big name that was highly respected. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

However, all Great Sovereigns highly respected Ancient Sages, considering them their highest goal.

Each Great World viewed the number of their Ancient Sages as the determinant of their world power.

If a Great World had twice as many Ancient Sages as another Great World, it was very easy for them to subjugate that Great World.

"By the way Mingxue, you should probably use your strength carefully here. If you accidentally get angry, a little bit of your power leaking out could destroy this world," Asher said to Yi Mingxue who was watching the world curiously.

Over 1 Trillion Years in the Sacred Silk Realm, she had never gone to the Lower Realm. In truth, she had always been disinterested in the weak, so she had no interest in coming even if it was just to satisfy her curiosity.

This time, she came along because her teacher asked her to.

Hearing her teacher’s words, she nodded while pressing her lips together.

She was actually quite aware that her teacher was reminding her to learn to control her emotions more. After all, it was obvious that she was the type who was easily provoked.

Just seeing something that displeased her a little was enough to make her heart feel great anger.

Asher smiled at her before taking a step down.

He really liked this student because she did not ask any questions except for training.

Even looking into the countless Great Universes, it was hard to find someone who truly did not ask about other people’s business.

When they descended, they appeared in a city.

It was a medium-sized city for this world, but of course even large cities couldn’t compare to the cities in the Sacred Silk Realm in terms of size.

The population of this city was only about 100 million.

The building structures looked ancient, made of brown colored stones.

It was now spring and the atmosphere of the city seemed to be quite relaxed.

There are many young cultivators who vigorously go to cultivation academies to practice.

What was interesting was that there was a large pool of light in the center of the city.

Occasionally there would be cultivators who would jump out of that pond, gaze curiously at the huge city and then be astonished by the many powerful auras above them.

There was no need to guess who they were, they were people from the small world under this big world.

Asher was walking on his street, quite often receiving people’s gazes as he looked like a young nobleman, handsome and well-groomed plus he was followed by a very beautiful and graceful young lady with a very strong aloof impression that even princesses would feel embarrassed when looking at her.

The two of them looked like two mysterious people who were out of place.

Although they had a cultivation aura, the people who saw them felt that their cultivation was very unclear, it did not describe the level they were familiar with nor could they guess whether they were strong or weak.

"Look below this city," Asher said suddenly while looking down.

Yi Mingxue wasn’t sure what was underneath this city.

She naturally stared there because he suggested it.

When she finally looked down, she slightly showed a surprised expression.

There was actually an independent dimension below this city.

It was almost the same size as the city but the inside of the dimension itself was much larger.

Apparently, there was an enormous monster inside that dimension.

It resembled a human except that its body seemed to be made of stone, was red in color and had six huge arms.

It was sitting where each of its hands were bound with black chains that seemed to be extremely strong.

Even its legs were not allowed to move at all, sealed in a huge iron whose weight could not be calculated.

ROAR!

Occasionally, the monster roared into the sky, as if it wanted to fight against the seal that was holding it back.

Its roar was unable to escape that dimension, but Yi Mingxue knew that it was a roar that could easily tear apart the skies of this Great World.
