Chapter 21: Red Sea Progenitor

"It’s hard for any Cultivator to live in peace... Yeahhh, at least now I don’t have to engage in stupid rivalries like this anymore..." Asher laughed softly when he saw the riot in the Sacred Silk Palace.

This was a very common sight in any world if they were populated by Cultivators.

And here, his only interest was his artifact, the Tree Father.

His eyes gazed at the roots that grew beneath the entire landmass of the Sacred Silk Realm.

They were home to the Sky Fairy Race that fed them spirit energy every day.

Unfortunately, until now it had not awakened its own spirit.

"When? When will you have a spirit?" Asher wondered.

He could not predict the outcome, but he wanted it to have a spirit soon because only then, it would be able to help him drastically.

Of course, this made him somewhat impatient because if he had that artifact, he could rampage even more uncontrollably in the territory of the Void Monsters.

That was something he really missed.

"If I also master the two Daos, then that would be even better. I’d be unstoppable even there and could take incalculable treasures," he said in a low voice.

He stared deep into the void.

In a place far away, there was vaguely an enormous continent. It was so large that it could envelop millions of Great Universes.

If a Great Paragon or even a False Void Master came to that continent, they would practically only be considered helpless little ants.

"Patience, patience first..."

After that, he sat on a chair, closing his eyes to sleep.

He was not bored enough to watch those Great Paragons fight, just going to wait for the outcome.

There was his avatar elsewhere in motion at the moment, in front of a red sea hidden deep in the infinite void.

It was such a vast sea, standing in front of it would make you feel that it was boundless. Its top and bottom reached the top and bottom of the void itself.

A fierce aura emanated unceasingly from that red sea and sometimes there were shadows of giant fish faintly visible within it.

Shua!

The figure of a thin old man with fins on both cheeks suddenly emerged from the red sea.

He seemed to be in bad shape due to his endlessly chaotic aura.

Cough! Cough!

He coughed twice and with each cough, his mouth let out a little blood.

"Night Sky Progenitor!" He called out Asher’s title while the latter observed him.

His title was Red Sea Progenitor, a Progenitor of the Bloodline Cultivator.

Even from his condition, it was clear that he was seriously injured.

This was unlike Dao Cultivators who had avatars where when their main avatar was injured, they could replace it with another avatar and discard the injured avatar.

Bloodline Cultivators who did not have avatars when injured, needed time and resources to recover their wounds.

They are even vulnerable to being killed. In such a situation, they would usually pay a Dao Progenitor handsomely to guard them from either Monster Progenitors or other Bloodline Progenitors.

The latter group was quite numerous, so internal conflicts were often inevitable.

"Red Sea, lend me your artifact," Asher said to him, telling him the purpose of his visit.

"What?" The old man was astonished at his words.

He had one very precious artifact and that should be all that interested a Dao Progenitor.

It was too precious to him that he could rely on it to stay alive without asking a Dao Progenitor for help.

How could he possibly lend it to someone else.

"I will naturally give you something in return." Asher continued, knowing the old man would refuse if he didn’t give him something.

"What is it?" The old man asked with narrowed eyes.

He doubted it would really be worth it, it could just be something ordinary but he would force him to think it was worth it.

In the void, it was common knowledge that Dao Progenitors sometimes oppressed Bloodline Progenitors even though they were allies.

This alliance was inevitable because not only did they have a common enemy, but because they were both cultivators hailing from countless Great Universes.

All in all, they could still be considered one race from the point of view of the beings in the void.

"That’s later..." Asher replied. "In any case, it’s something that can make you recover to peak condition, maybe even increase your strength a little."

If Tree Father awakened its spirit, it would not be difficult to recover the old man from his injuries.

Only, Asher could not tell him about it for fear that the artifact’s existence would be leaked which would lead to an attack from the Monster Progenitors. Currently, only the Dao Progenitors knew that he had successfully turned the Tree Father Progenitor’s corpse into an artifact and was now trying to resurrect his spirit.

The reason they knew was because he had asked for their help in making the artifact.

What was clear was that they had sworn not to divulge it.

However, the Bloodline Progenitor’s oath could not be trusted as he was not a Daoi Cultivator.

"What will you rely on to heal my injuries? You know that I don’t just have ordinary injuries," the Red Sea Progenitor replied.

"I can’t say right now, but for sure, it will come faster than any other things you think of to heal your wounds. The longest is 5000 Trillion Years, I can guarantee it," Asher replied.

"Are you going to swear?"

"Yeah... I’ll even leave this avatar in your place to guard you when you’re not holding your artifacts. This is one avatar that can turn into the main avatar in no time...." Asher said.

"Alright..." The Red Sea Progenitor finally agreed.

Other than that he had faith in him since he swore, he also really didn’t have a faster way to recover his wounds.

"Come to my place," he said.

He invited him to enter the Red Sea.

He naturally followed him.

Entering that red sea, he was like entering an ordinary sea.

Inside, there were many fish-type Void Monsters with True Void Master cultivations.

They swam calmly, as if they were guardians of the sea.

Of course, that was because they had already been enslaved by the Red Sea Progenitor.

Deep within that sea, there was a vast hidden space.

Inside, there were many stars that flickered when seen in the distance.

Of course, they weren’t stars. They were huge worlds.

In the center of them, there was a continent that was truly unimaginably vast, much larger than the Sacred Silk Realm.

The continent seemed extremely desolate, there were no living people other than Weak Void Monsters, still at the level of False Void Masters like the Red Giant Monsters in the Sacred Silk Realm. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

The Red Sea Progenitor landed on the continent, on the highest mountain while Asher landed beside him.

"Night Sky Progenitor, a moment please," he told him.

When talking to a Dao Progenitor, no one dared to drop their Progenitor title except fellow Dao Progenitors.

Naturally, the old man continued to call him the Night Sky Progenitor.

At this moment, he pointed his hand downwards.

Rumble!

The vast continent suddenly trembled.

There was a river passing through its center and the river split into two, revealing an extremely dark empty space underneath.

A mighty aura emanated from there, like it was capable of destroying a Great Universe with a single touch.

Something that seemed to be the source of that aura then appeared, sliding upwards directly so that it became clear.

As it turned out, it was simply a bottle with a curved shape.

The bottle seemed to contain a red liquid that made the bottle look red.

Ever since it appeared, it continued to vibrate the huge continent. It seemed that it would not stop shaking unless the bottle was taken away.

"Night Sky Progenitor, this is the Boundless Water Bottle, what exactly do you want to do with this?" The Red Sea Progenitor asked Asher after taking the bottle out.

At the same time, the bottle moved towards him, landing on his hand before finally settling down.

Asher stared at the bottle with calm eyes and slightly smiling lips.

"You don’t need to be curious about that," he said. "Just look at the results later. Your contribution can be considered great and I guarantee to give you more than just healing your wounds..."

When he said that, he seemed extremely confident.

This at least made the Red Sea Progenitor calm down somewhat.

"Take it," he said, handing the bottle to him which of course he immediately accepted.

After that, he even used the dispatch formation he had specially brought along to send the bottle to the Sacred Silk Realm. That formation could move at a speed equivalent to that of his main avatar.

The Red Sea Progenitor knitted his brows a few times as he watched his precious artifact being sent away. If it was done by another Bloodline Progenitor, he naturally wouldn’t believe it, but the words of a Dao Progenitor could always be trusted.

A few hours later, Asher’s avatar in the Sacred Silk Realm opened his eyes.

He stared into the void outside.

A red bottle arrived there, starting to move slowly.

Silently, it entered the Sacred Silk Realm before continuing to fly towards him.

Pa!

It finally landed in his hand.

"This is the last thing I need. Things will become more certain with this artifact," he said.

"Mm..." He then gazed at the Sacred Silk Palace, slightly surprised.

"Mingxue actually managed to break through in her Dao of Destruction..." He said again.

That woman had finally reached the Great Paragon 3rd Stage.

If it was only breaking through to the 2nd Stage, he wasn’t so surprised, but to the 3rd Stage, this was truly incredible and it was in such a short period of time. Even someone of his level found it amazing.

Most importantly, her sword instantly leveled up again so that he directly became an Emperor.

With the Dao of Destruction, her attack power was practically one of the most terrifying.

A new Emperor appeared in the Sacred Silk Realm, this news spread quickly, making the Great Paragons finally know that there was one more existence they couldn’t offend.
