Queen Mommy's Six Genius Babies Found the CEO Daddy-Chapter 105: You’re Lying
Sophia could easily tell this was Lucas’s way of getting back at Harper.
Still, she knew Lucas wouldn’t just drag someone in and tie them up for no reason—Harper must’ve come rushing over with something urgent, and Lucas had simply seized the chance for revenge.
Even though Harper didn’t dare call him out, Sophia shot Lucas a sharp, accusing glare—a silent rebuke for bullying her friend.
Then she helped Harper sit down on the couch.
"What happened? "
"Olivia’s gone abroad," Harper said breathlessly.
She had just heard the news—Olivia had called Dr. Tessa to say she wouldn’t be coming back to the hospital. "She won’t even be here for the stitches to come out. My guess? She’s planning something big."
"Going abroad just means she’s fixing her face," Sophia replied evenly. "Now tell me—what do you think of the script I gave you?"
"It’s amazing!" Harper said, her excitement returning. "The role’s perfect for me—bold, passionate, unfiltered! Totally my vibe."
Then, grinning, she added, "And I have three kiss scenes! So... are they real kisses? C’mon, just tell me who the guy is. Let me see him first."
"In your dreams," Sophia teased. "Don’t push your luck."
Just then, her phone buzzed—a notification.
[New post by famous photographer Jimmy — Introducing the new angel: LEON]
"Who’s that?" Harper leaned in, eyes widening as she scrolled. Every photo looked like a divine masterpiece.
"Up-and-coming model," Sophia said. "Name’s Leon."
Harper gasped. "He’s gorgeous! Is that even real? No one looks that perfect—he’s literally an angel."
Coming from Harper, that was the ultimate compliment.
Below the post, the comments were all asking the same question—Who is he? Where did he come from?
Sophia smirked and texted Howard: Time to release the next piece of news.
Leon would be joining a music show soon—as a singer.
He had a stunning voice, one that could shift from a smoky rasp to pure angelic clarity.
It was an unexpected surprise even for her.
"If things go well," she said with a knowing smile, "you might actually get to meet him someday."
Harper’s eyes lit up instantly. "Seriously?"
Sophia nodded. After the show, Leon would officially step into the entertainment world—and she’d already laid the groundwork for his rise.
"Sophia, I’m going back to the company first."
Lucas was afraid that someone would run away if he left, so he left only after getting Sophia’s approval.
As soon as he was gone, Harper turned back. "Sophia, what’s going on with you and Lucas? You two are back together? What about Damien? Didn’t you go out with him?"
"You ask too many questions," Sophia replied dryly. "To put it simply—Damien’s a good man. Lucas... he’s the one I’d take to hell with me."
"Hey! Don’t say that!" Harper scolded, smacking her lightly on the arm. "If anyone’s going to heaven, it’s you. You’re too good for hell."
She sighed. "We’ve been friends for over ten years, Sophia. I know better than to think anyone can change your mind once you’ve decided something."
Harper rested a gentle hand on her friend’s head. "Just promise me one thing—don’t lose yourself again. Whatever happens, don’t let anyone break you. Leave Olivia to me."
Sophia nodded and hugged her tightly.
Just then, her phone rang again—an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Sophia. Let’s meet."
That voice.
"Riley?"
"It’s me. If you’re not too afraid, come to PL Café."
The line went dead.
Harper frowned. "Who was that?"
"The reason Lucas and I fell out," Sophia said flatly. "Riley. A high-level manipulator—she even tried to pick up the kids that day. I caught her in the act."
"What?! Are you kidding me?"
Sophia’s lips curved into a faint, icy smile. "She wants to see me. PL Café."
"I’ll go with you."
Sophia nodded slightly and said, "You take Angela and the others with you. After all, the children are still young. I won’t feel at ease if I’m not with them." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"OK."
They each got into their own cars.
PL Café.
Riley was already there, dressed in a sleek black-and-white dress, her hair cascading perfectly over her shoulders. When she saw Sophia, she gave a polished, fake smile.
"Miss Nelson," Sophia replied evenly, "what do you want to talk about?"
Riley’s smile widened just enough to look practiced.
"Miss Morgan, I didn’t come here to start trouble. There’s fifty million on this card. It’s all yours—if you walk away from Lucas."
Fifty million. Not bad for an opening move. Clearly, Riley’s family background ran deeper than Sophia had assumed.
"Don’t worry," Riley added quickly. "The money’s clean. All in my name. I’m a vocal performance major. I get paid for appearances. No one will ever question why you suddenly have that much money."
Sophia raised an eyebrow, staring at the card before pushing it back across the table.
"Miss Nelson, do you even know who I am?"
"Of course I do," Riley said, her tone tightening. "You’re Luna. But even as a designer, you’ll never make fifty million. That’s life-changing money, Miss Morgan. You sure you don’t want to think about it?"
Sophia tilted her head slightly, pretending to consider it. "I do have a question for you, though."
Riley crossed her legs. "Go ahead."
"Did you and Lucas really... spend the night together?"
Riley’s gaze dropped for just a second. Her hand slid from the table to her lap.
"Yes," she said finally. "Everything that could’ve happened, did."
"You’re lying."
Riley froze.
"I majored in psychology," Sophia continued calmly. "Your eyes shifted down—that’s a classic tell. Moving your hand under the table? That’s self-reassurance. It means you’re trying to convince yourself your lie is true. And you’re over-explaining, which means you’re inexperienced at lying and scrambling for a story. In short—you’re lying."
"I..." Riley stammered.
Sophia smiled faintly. "Relax. I’m kidding." She laughed lightly. "You think I actually studied psychology? What are the odds of that?"
Riley’s face flushed. "Sophia, you’d better not test my patience!"
"Oh, you just confirmed it," Sophia said sweetly. "Judging by that temper, nothing happened between you two at all."
Relief washed over her—so that was that.
"I’m the one who belongs with him, Sophia," Riley snapped. "You’re just someone who showed up out of nowhere! You’re a small-time designer—what makes you think you deserve Lucas?"
Sophia gave her a cool, amused look. "Miss Nelson, Didn’t you look in the mirror before you went out?"
Riley blinked. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"Otherwise, why are you so lacking in self-awareness?"
Riley’s fists clenched. "Say that again!"
"Careful now," Sophia said softly. "You’re a public figure—a walking piece of art. Don’t lose your composure. Look around—people are filming you. Someone might recognize you."
Right then, Harper came hurrying over, practically glowing. "Oh my God! You’re Riley, right? I’m a huge fan! Can I get your autograph?"
Riley forced her lips into a smile and signed her name.
Harper grinned like she’d won the lottery and walked off.
Sophia bit her lip to stop herself from laughing.
"What’s so funny?" Riley snapped. "You saw that, didn’t you? People know me. I’m famous! You’ll never be on my level! Just take the money and leave Lucas!"
Sophia rose gracefully, still smiling. "You know, I was angry at him before. But seeing you now, Miss Nelson, I realize how stupid that was."
Riley frowned. "What’s that supposed to mean?"
"Miss Nelson," Sophia said softly, leaning closer, "Lucas’s body... recognizes one person."
Before Riley could stand, Sophia’s hand shot out and pressed her back into her seat.
The confidence in her posture turned sharp and predatory. Her gaze locked on Riley’s trembling eyes—cold, unflinching, dangerous.
"His body," Sophia said, voice low and deliberate, "only recognizes me."
