Tonight is destined to be a sleepless night.

Aiden Taylor, Michael Linton, Sophia Wood, Lily Turner, and Easton Holmes, each of them is experiencing insomnia, but for different reasons.

Throughout the long night, each of them tosses and turns in their own homes.

"So late, where are you going?"

Although Lily Turner had already laid down early in bed, her mind was filled with the scene of Sophia Wood forcing her to take medicine; she couldn’t fall asleep no matter what.

Worried about disturbing Easton Holmes, who was lying beside her, she got out of bed, intending to leave the bedroom and spend this difficult night in another room.

Easton Holmes wasn’t asleep at all; he was just pretending with his eyes closed. With his understanding of her, he knew that with what happened tonight, she wouldn’t just let it go easily.

As soon as she sat up, he followed suit, sitting up and turning on the lamp on his side.

The sudden light made Lily Turner a bit uncomfortable, so she raised her hand to shield her eyes, "I’m going to the restroom, you go back to sleep."

She thought he was awoken by her and lied to him about going back to sleep.

She didn’t want him to know she was intending to leave because of insomnia, as that would make him worry, which wasn’t the result she wanted.

"You go and come back quickly, I’ll wait for you."

Go to the restroom?

In all the time they had been together, he had never seen her go to the restroom in the middle of the night; she would go once before sleeping, and not again until she woke up the next day.

Easton Holmes pulled down Lily Turner’s hand that was shielding her eyes, then leaned against the bedhead. Since she said she was going to the restroom, he temporarily believed her, waiting for her to come back from there.

Upon hearing Easton Holmes say he’d wait for her to come back, Lily Turner immediately lowered the hand she had raised before her eyes, and once she did, she saw him watching her intently from where he leaned against the bedhead.

She could never lie to him much, and being stared at like that made her feel uneasy.

"I’m just going to the bathroom, do you really have to sit up and wait for me? Forget it, I’m not going, let’s sleep!" After speaking, she lay back down on the bed.

As she lay down, Lily Turner silently grumbled in her heart: Annoying man! If you’re going to sleep, then just sleep, why suddenly wake up?

Even now she thought the man had just woken up, completely unaware that he hadn’t slept just like her.

Seeing that she lay down again, Easton Holmes didn’t continue sitting against the bedhead. He reached out to turn off the light, and sliding back down next to her, he wrapped his arm around her body, which was facing away from him.

"For our baby’s health, get some sleep." The hand that held her slid to her abdomen, deliberately reminding her that there was a baby inside, urging her to sleep well for the baby’s sake.

Upon hearing these words, Lily Turner suddenly turned around to face Easton Holmes. As she was about to say something, she suddenly realized something and closed her slightly open mouth.

After hearing him say that and remembering how he had been leaning against the bedhead waiting for her, she belatedly realized that just like her, he hadn’t slept.

Without saying a word, she silently moved closer to him, curled up her body, and found a comfortable position in his embrace, then hugged him back and closed her eyes.

Easton Holmes looked down at Lily Turner curled up in his arms, pulled her closer, and held her tighter.
