Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 575: The Dinner with a Hidden Agenda 2
After Lily Turner got out of the car, she suddenly realized she had forgotten to wear her hat. She turned around to return to the car, but Easton Holmes grabbed her. She explained, "I forgot my hat."
She struggled to shake off his hand, but she couldn’t.
"There’s no need to hide. Just walk in with me openly," Easton Holmes gently tugged her wrist, and Lily Turner obediently leaned towards him. "You look just fine like this, trying to hide will only attract attention."
He lifted his other hand and brushed aside the bangs from her forehead.
Lily Turner felt that Easton made a valid point, so she no longer planned to go back to the car for her hat. She turned and walked into the restaurant with him.
The two of them went straight to the reserved private dining room as they entered.
It was peak dining time, and the restaurant was crowded with diners.
Afraid of being recognized, Lily Turner kept her head down as she walked through, not daring to look up or glance around.
Only after pushing the door open and entering the private dining room did she breathe a sigh of relief and finally lift her head.
"We’ve arrived safely, you can relax now."
When walking over, Easton had already noticed Lily’s state. Understanding her fear of being recognized, he quietly observed the surroundings.
All the way over, he didn’t notice anything unusual.
Because his actions were so discreet, she kept her head down and didn’t realize anything. Hearing what he said, she merely smiled at him.
"You two must have timed it perfectly, not early nor late," Michael Linton remarked. Earlier, when driving over, he saw Easton’s car parked at the entrance but, being somewhat far, hadn’t noticed anyone inside.
Thinking Easton and Lily had already gone inside ahead of him, he quickly made his way into the restaurant without taking a closer look, only to find on arrival that neither of them was in the private room.
He had been sitting and waiting for a while before they finally pushed the door and entered.
Seeing that his uncle was a bit sarcastic, Easton immediately responded, "Of course, we had to be on time since our uncle is treating us."
With that, he led her over to sit down under the delighted gaze of his uncle.
"Uncle!"
After sitting down, Lily Turner politely greeted Michael, addressing him as uncle.
Michael smiled back and picked up the menu the waiter had just placed on the table, tossing it in front of Lily Turner. "Order whatever you want. Don’t be shy with your uncle."
With an open-handed demeanor, he had prepared ample funds for the meal before coming.
"Of course, we won’t be shy with Uncle."
Lily had not even managed to speak when Easton had already answered for her. He glanced at Michael sitting not far away and then looked down at the menu with her by his side.
When he said "don’t be shy," it was not in the usual sense of being impolite. He meant that among the three of them, such formalities weren’t necessary, everyone should just relax.
The person treating shouldn’t be overly polite, and those being treated shouldn’t be either. It’s just a meal, and too much politeness might ruin the appetite.
It didn’t matter if he ate well or not, the important thing was her sitting beside him. She’s pregnant now, and meals shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Seeing Easton leaning over to look at the menu, Lily simply pushed it in front of him. "You order."
She thought he was most suitable for ordering. He should know his uncle’s dining preferences well, and he was also familiar with her tastes.
