Chapter 594: Chapter 594: It’s All the Trouble Caused by Joyriding 1

Theodore Holmes was not wearing the loungewear he had on while chatting in the living room earlier; instead, he was dressed in casual attire. Amelia Linton, with her sharp eyes, noticed he held car keys in his hand, looking like he was about to go out.

"I can’t sleep, going out for a drive."

After saying this, he headed downstairs. After taking two steps down, he suddenly stopped, turned his head, and looked at her. "Mom! You look like you can’t sleep either. Why don’t you come for a drive with me?"

He stood there waiting for her answer. Standing backlit, the emotions in his eyes were hidden in the darkness.

Amelia Linton was feeling irritated and annoyed, troubled about how to vent. Theodore Holmes’ suggestion was exactly what she had in mind, so without even thinking, she immediately nodded and agreed, "Okay."

She agreed while walking down towards him. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

"Let’s go!"

Theodore seemed very excited, giving Amelia a thumbs-up gesture. When she came down, he went downstairs with her.

Soon, the two of them left the house.

Fabian Holmes, who was taking a breath on the balcony, saw Theodore Holmes and Amelia Linton come out of the house and get into the car Theodore had parked in the yard.

Seeing this scene, his heart suddenly skipped a beat, and he hurriedly turned around and ran downstairs.

By the time he reached the first floor, he already heard the sound of a car engine starting outside. By the time he chased after it, the car had disappeared without a trace.

Instinctively, Fabian ran towards the gate, but it was already too late; he didn’t even see the shadow of the car.

He took out his phone from his pocket and immediately dialed Amelia Linton’s number, but the phone rang for a long time without being answered. Until the system automatically hung up, he hadn’t heard her voice.

He dialed her number again; her phone was ringing, but no one answered, just like the first time.

He didn’t give up nor did he get discouraged, dialing her number for the third time, but the result was the same as the previous times.

Still unwilling to give up, he continued to dial several more times, but the result was disappointing and very worrying.

Amelia had not answered his calls. Fabian Holmes could no longer remain calm. Thinking about the argument earlier in the room, he couldn’t wait any longer.

No longer standing at the gate making call after call, he put away his phone, turned around, went back inside, returned to his room to grab his car keys, and quickly left the house again.

He went to the garage to take his car and then drove away at high speed.

As Fabian Holmes drove out of the complex gate, he glanced out the window; for a moment, he didn’t know which direction to follow. Hearing a car coming from behind, he decisively chose a direction and chased after it.

After driving some distance, Fabian picked up his phone and dialed Theodore Holmes’ number. However, what he didn’t know was that when Theodore left, he didn’t take his usual phone but had a phone he never used in front of them.

As expected, there was no one on the other end of the line, so how could anyone answer his call?

Amelia’s phone lay alone on the sofa in the living room, and Theodore hadn’t brought the phone they knew about.

Fabian was completely unaware of all this; neither of them answered his calls, and he instantly became anxious.

In his urgency, he suddenly thought of Easton Holmes, not caring what time it was or if the other party would respond to him.

He found the contact marked as the eldest son in his address book, hesitated slightly, but he finally dialed out.
