If Athena hadn’t knocked on the door, Lily Turner might have been able to sleep a little longer. But now that she’s been woken up, and with a stranger sitting in the room, she couldn’t go back to sleep even if she wanted to.

Getting out of bed, she tidily arranged the bedding before heading to the bathroom.

Seeing Lily walk into the bathroom, Athena asked toward the bathroom.

"I’m already awake."

After responding, Lily closed the bathroom door. By the time she came out from inside, she was all freshened up and dressed neatly, having already changed out of her pajamas into some comfy loungewear.

"Athena! Have you had breakfast? I’m going downstairs to eat." Before, skipping a meal wasn’t a big deal for her, but now that she’s pregnant, missing a meal isn’t an option. No matter how late she gets up in the morning, she has to maintain three meals a day.

At first, she was supervised to maintain three meals, but now she no longer needs supervision, and she can maintain it on her own initiative.

"I’ve eaten, but I want to go with you." Athena got up and ran over, leaving the room with Lily and heading downstairs together.

Seeing the two of them coming down from upstairs, Serena Zimmerman, who was about to go to the bathroom, instinctively stopped where she was, "Athena! Did you wake up your sister-in-law?"

She kept winking, just hoping her goddess sister would help her lie.

"Aunt! Athena is right; I woke up on my own earlier. When she came to find me, I was already washing up." Even if Athena hadn’t winked, Lily intended to say that anyway, but the girl beat her to it.

Serena looked at Athena, then turned to look at Lily, her eyes quickly swept between the two of them twice, she instantly saw through their lie, but she didn’t expose it.

"Go eat, Aunt Li saved some food for you."

After looking at the two girls again, she headed towards the bathroom.

Once Serena walked away, Athena gave Lily a thumbs up, "Goddess sister! You’re so nice; I’ve decided you’re the sister for me, heart to heart!"

Finishing her sentence, she withdrew her thumbs-up hand, using both hands to form a heart for her goddess sister.

"I’ll take your heart, mwah!"

Lily blew a kiss through the air, then pulled Athena toward the kitchen.

Since the moment Athena woke up, she started clinging to Lily again, just like when she first saw Lily yesterday.

She’s quite helpless with this somewhat clingy sister, but not in the least bit unhappy. After all, this sister is her cousin, and she’s so cute; she couldn’t possibly dislike her.

"Lily dear! The phone’s for you."
