Chapter 772: Chapter 772: My Wife Slit Her Wrist

Fabian Holmes drove back home to discuss with Amelia Linton about attending Easton Holmes and Lily Turner’s wedding tomorrow, but when he opened the door and entered the house, he found it eerily quiet with no signs of anything unusual happening.

This kind of situation actually made him feel very uneasy. From his understanding of Amelia, when she was angry, she would cause a commotion; if he wasn’t home, she would definitely take it out on things in the house. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

He saw that everything in the house was intact, with no signs of any damage.

"Sir! You’re back?"

Hearing the noise outside, Mrs. Wang came out of her room. With the house in such a state these days, she felt uneasy as well, with no sense of security.

Fabian looked at Mrs. Wang approaching him and asked, "Where’s the madam?"

Even though he hadn’t been home for the past couple of days, he was clear about the state of the house. He knew that now only Amelia and Mrs. Wang were at home, so Mrs. Wang should know where Amelia had gone.

After dinner, Mrs. Wang washed the dishes and returned to her room, and hadn’t come out since. It was only now, hearing the commotion, that she came out. She didn’t know where Amelia was either.

"Isn’t madam in the room?"

When Mrs. Wang returned to her room after washing the dishes earlier, she hadn’t seen any sign of Amelia. She had always assumed Amelia had returned to her room.

Fabian turned his head to look at their room; the door was tightly closed. He frowned slightly and said nothing more to Mrs. Wang as he walked towards the room.

Watching his retreating figure, Mrs. Wang sighed, shaking her head as she turned to return to her room. With her status, it wasn’t appropriate to meddle in their affairs.

"Mrs. Wang! Call an ambulance!"

Mrs. Wang took a couple of steps when Fabian’s panicked voice came from the room. She instinctively stopped and after a few seconds of processing, she quickly turned and ran to the living room to call for an ambulance.

All Mrs. Wang heard was Fabian shouting for her to call an ambulance; she had no idea what had happened inside the room. When the operator asked her what emergency situation had occurred, she had no answers.

Just as Mrs. Wang didn’t know how to answer the operator, Fabian anxiously walked out of the room. Seeing her on the phone, he strode over towards her. "Did you get through?"

As he spoke, he had already reached her.

"I called..."

Mrs. Wang had just said the word ’called’ when Fabian grabbed the phone. He put it to his ear. "My wife slit her wrist. Please hurry and send over a car."

Finally, he provided the detailed address to the person on the other end of the line.

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Wang was terrified, standing there dazed for a long time before coming to her senses. By the time she did, Fabian had already hung up and returned to the room.

Mrs. Wang walked out of the living room and toward Fabian and Amelia’s room. When she entered the room, she immediately saw Amelia lying on the bed.

Following Amelia’s arm hanging limply off the bed, Mrs. Wang nearly fainted from shock.

Amelia’s arm dangled off the bed, dripping with fresh red blood. The hand was completely covered in blood, her eyes were tightly shut, and her face was extremely pale. At this moment, she appeared lifeless.

A few minutes later, an ambulance roared to the scene.

The arriving paramedics first stopped the bleeding, and then, with Fabian’s assistance, they together lifted Amelia onto the stretcher and into the ambulance. The ambulance quickly rushed her to the hospital.
