Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 874: Why Are You Imitating Me?
Alice Turner’s left hand was injured. As a left-handed person, using her right hand was incredibly inconvenient. It’s manageable when using a spoon for porridge, but using chopsticks to pick up buns proved difficult.
Her right hand couldn’t even hold the chopsticks steadily, let alone pick up the buns from the plate.
Seeing Alice wrestle with the chopsticks, Thomas Fisher suddenly remembered she’s left-handed. He reached out and took her chopsticks away, using his own to pick up a bun and brought it to her mouth, "Open wide!"
He pressed the bun against her lips, forcing her to obediently open her mouth. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Alice instinctively opened her mouth to refuse, but as soon as she did, Thomas stuffed an entire steamed bun into her mouth.
She glared at him angrily, but he just laughed heartily.
"You can’t get angry while eating, it really affects your appetite." As he spoke, he picked up another bun, and seeing her still chewing, he popped the bun he just picked into his own mouth.
After feeding himself, Thomas quickly picked up another small bun, this time intending to feed Alice.
But this time, Alice was prepared. Before he could bring the bun over, she leaned back against her chair, creating distance between them.
"Don’t feed me anymore, I can eat myself."
Alice wasn’t being overly sensitive; she really needed to be resolute in rejecting Thomas’s intimate actions, or else she’d get used to his behavior towards her.
No! She absolutely can’t let that happen. After all, he is that man’s good friend, and she couldn’t let everyone face an awkward situation in the future.
To refuse Thomas’s kindness, Alice threw away any concern for her image. If she couldn’t use chopsticks to pick up buns, she’d just grab them directly.
Grabbing the first one felt awkward, but by the second, she became completely natural and composed.
Seeing this, Thomas tossed his chopsticks onto the table and began eating the buns with his hands along with Alice. He found it quite nice to eat buns this way.
"Why are you copying me?"
Alice was not pleased with Thomas copying her by eating with his hands. She had to because of her injury, but his hands were perfectly fine.
Thomas, however, denied imitating Alice, insisting, "Am I copying you? I’m just trying to eat buns and drink porridge simultaneously, this way I can do both."
As he spoke, he pushed the bun in his hand into his mouth.
"Suit yourself!"
Alice glanced somewhat irritably at Thomas, who stubbornly denied copying her, then lowered her head to continue her breakfast.
Though she appeared unhappy on the surface, she was actually quite glad and touched inside.
She’s not oblivious or a clueless little girl. She could easily see that he did it purposely, just so she wouldn’t feel awkward eating alone.
Feeling moved, Alice secretly made a decision: she would never see this man sitting across from her again. This man had too much of an impact on her, and her ability to resist him seemed to weaken more and more.
Before completely falling apart, she had to stop everything in time.
While Alice made this decision in her heart, Thomas, sitting opposite her, was unaware. But he also made a decision in his heart: he would treat her twice as well, striving to make her willingly fall into his arms. He wanted both her and her heart.
