Michael knew his old father well and understood that he needed some time alone to calm down, so he didn’t say anything further and immediately went upstairs with Serena.

"Michael! Will Dad be okay?"

Once she was sure that old Mr. Linton downstairs couldn’t hear, Serena asked Michael worriedly.

"What hasn’t Dad been through? This little issue isn’t going to affect him." Callix Linton had weathered many storms, and Michael was confident in his father’s resilience. He wasn’t worried about him at all, but he was concerned that his father wouldn’t easily forgive his sister and brother-in-law this time.

She got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom, assuming he might be there, but found it empty, not a trace of him.

Lily didn’t search outside the room. After freshening up and changing, she left to find Easton Holmes, assuming he didn’t want to disturb her sleep and had gone to the study. She headed straight there from her room.

In the study, she didn’t find him, but she did find something—his robe on the single bed.

When had that guy come back last night? And where had he run off to this morning?

Wasn’t he supposed to have a break at home these days? So where had he gone early in the morning? A morning run?
