When they went inside, Father Jiang had finished eating and was talking to the village chief. When they saw Liu Yongfa, they stopped their conversation and greeted him.

"Uncle, are you ready? If you are, then we won’t delay, leaving early means we can arrive early." Liu Yongfa said with a smile. It takes more than two hours to get to Xu City, and it was already almost eight o’clock.

By the time they arrive, it’s about eleven o’clock. And the doctor’s off-duty time is eleven-thirty, if they’re late, they might not even get a number.

"We’re ready, just waiting for your aunt to finish washing the dishes, and we can leave."

After Liu Yongfa spoke, he and Jiang Xue loaded the things they needed to take, including quilts and washbasins, into the car trunk.
