Chapter 198: Chapter 198: Father-son Duo Fun

Song Recommendation: Moonlight Sunrise By Twice

"Did you come to take me home?" Tang Ni asked, the flour all over his body making him look more cute.

Wu Tang felt his eyes sting with tears. This was his son, but he could not tell him.

He could only sniff back his tears as he looked at his young son. fгeewebnovёl.com

"Hmm, I am here to take you home, didn’t you want to be present for your mom’s wedding?" Wu Tang squatted to his level to ask him the question.

"I am more than willing to be present for my mom’s wedding, but I don’t know if my mom would want that," Tang Ni replied with a sullen expression.

"Do not mind your mom, you can be present for the wedding, you do not need to mind what she said," Wu Tang cleared the doubts.

How could his son not be present for the wedding? Even though it was a fake wedding, he did not care, he just wanted to be close to his son, and bond with him.

"Are you serious? I hope my mom will not be mad at me," Tang Ni was still concerned about what his mother would say.

"Yes I am, but wait a minute, what were you doing when I came in?" Wu Tang was curious as he asked him.

"I was helping the maids make pancakes, Uncle Wu, would you like to assist us?" Tang Ni asked innocently.

"Sure," Wu Tang replied. This was the first step he would be taking in bonding with his son.

He was tempted to tell Tang Ni to address him as father, but he held back. It was not his intention to scare the little one, even though Tang Ni already considered him as a father. Furthermore, he was going to take things slowly.

"Get out, all of you," Wu Tang instructed the maids, who scurried out of the kitchen immediately.

"Why did you send them out of the kitchen, Uncle Wu?" Tang Ni asked curiously.

"Because I want to spend some alone time with you, it is not bad, is it?" Wu Tang replied with a question of his.

"Do you know how to make pancakes, Uncle Wu?" Tang Ni asked with surprise. He would never have expected that Wu Tang, who always had an icy expression could actually make pancakes.

"I know a lot more than making pancakes," Wu Tang had a smug smile on his face as he replied to him.

"Wow, Uncle is very wonderful," Tang Ni praised with an awe in his eyes.

"Of course, but I believe Tang Ni will be more awesome than I would be," Wu Tang smiled as he ruffled Tang Ni’s hair.

The father-son duo spent time in the kitchen, and it was filled with laughter and excitement.

"I have never seen the boss have such a bright smile on his face, I hope he remains the same," one of the maids commented as they spied on the father-son duo.

"I hope so too, I just realized that whenever the boss is with Tang Ni, he usually lets go of himself," another commented with a sigh.

After what seemed like forever, Wu Tang and Tang Ni were finally done with the pancakes.

"Uncle Wu, this looks delectable," Tang Ni commented with a victorious look on his face.

"Of course, this is as a result of our hard work," Wu Tang also gave credit to Tang Ni, who had a bashful smile on his face.

"Let’s dig in," Wu Tang announced, but Tang Ni stared at Wu Tang with a confused look.

"What’s wrong?" Wu Tang asked when he sensed the look on his face.

"Why don’t we go to the dining table?" Tang Ni inquired with an intriguing look.

"There is no need, let’s have it here," Wu Tang was not in the mood to have the meal at the dining table.

Tang Ni shrugged his shoulders as he picked up a pancake.

"Lovely," he commented when he took a bite.

After they were done with the meal, they decided to play games. They played numerous games, and they became closer.

After the games, Tang Ni asked if Wu Tang was going to leave him behind.

Wu Tang was silent for a while, before responding to him.

"Don’t worry, even if I leave, I will be taking you with me along," Wu Tang was firm in his words, causing tears to well up in Tang Ni’s eyes.

"Hey, why are you crying?" Wu Tang asked with worry in his eyes.

"It is nothing, I just felt a bit emotional, don’t mind me," Tang Ni wiped the tears away from his eyes.

"You do not feel touched or emotional, you will be my son, it is the least I can do for you," Wu Tang bit his tongue because he knew he just uttered a lie.

Tang Ni was already his son, he didn’t understand why he was hiding it. Let’s say, he was scared about the consequences if he were to announce the truth.

"I still have to thank you Uncle, I should also be called a unique child, I am one of the few children who gets to witness their parents getting married, aren’t I lucky?" Tang Ni joked. This was to prevent them from having a tear-filled day.

"Are you ready to go home with me?" Wu Tang asked, and Tang Ni nodded in return.

*Wu Tang’s Mansion*

Tang Mei got home feeling very exhausted. She had visited Shi Liran who took her on a shopping spree. She chuckled sarcastically because she was well aware of the reason for her actions.

Shi Liran could not wait to have her out of the house. Tang Mei felt lonely. Her biological mother was dead, her father was in jail, and her stepmother hated her.

But she did not stop to think that this was caused as a result of her actions.

"Mommy," her eyes suddenly widened on hearing a very familiar voice.

She turned to the source of the voice, her eyes widening as saucers on seeing her son.

"Tang Ni?" She called out in disbelief.
