Chapter 205: Chapter 205: I Am His Father!

Song Recommendation: Ringo By Itzy

"I am his father," Wu Tang replied with the same energy.

Tang Mei took many steps backwards, as she stared at him in a state of shock.

Tang Ni, on the other hand, was elated. He immediately rushed to Wu Tang’s side with a cheery smile on his face.

"Are you really my father? You are not saying this to make me happy, are you?" Tang Ni looked at him with an innocent look, the same look that got Wu Tang attracted to him.

"I am serious, I am your father, and I am not trying to make you feel better, I will not lie about this issue," Wu Tang ruffled his hair as he replied to him.

"That’s not possible, how is it possible? I was raped, how did you become the father of my son? You are lying to me," Tang Mei was not willing to believe him.

Wu Tang looked at Tang Mei who was finding it difficult to believe what he said.

"Tang Ni, would you go into the room? I would love to talk to your mother," Wu Tang smiled at him, and he nodded, immediately dashing in the direction of his room.

"Tang Mei, you would have to remain calm for what I am about to say to you," Wu Tang spoke calmly, he knew that Tang Mei had a fiery temper.

"What do you have to say?" Tang Mei asked.

"Will you like for me to say it here?" Wu Tang asked, his eyes hovering over the maids who were pretending to be busy.

"Let’s have the discussion in your study," Tang Mei suggested. Of course, she would not like her secrets to be heard by the maids.

"Please have a seat, and please remain calm," Wu Tang pleaded.

Tang Mei narrowed her eyes at him, but she still did as he said.

"Now, would you explain yourself? How did you become Tang Ni’s father? I need nothing but the truth," Tang Mei demanded.

"If you keep talking, I will not be able to speak, and finally clear your confusion," Wu Tang replied to her, vexed by her incessant questioning.

"Fine, go on," Tang Mei stated, giving him the floor to speak.

"You were raped years ago, brutally raped by five men," Wu Tang started.

"And that is how it happened, I never expected that you would actually get pregnant, and if you do not believe me, this is the DNA report," Wu Tang completed his story.

He even went as far as searching his table for the files, before handing it over to her.

Tang Mei numbly received the file. The news came as a surprise to her.

She opened the files, and her eyes widened seeing the doctor’s comment.

"It is not possible," she stood up with a shock.

"This is the truth, I am sorry I placed my seed into you without your permission, I had no idea it would come to this," Wu Tang apologized immediately. He might be an evil person, but he knew when to apologize, especially this matter since it was a sensitive case.

"How is that possible? Is this the reason you recruited me as your partner?" Tang Mei took deep breaths in as she questioned him.

It was all adding up. Taking her child into custody, approaching her to work together with the façade of having the same goal, his fierce protectiveness of Tang Ni, everything was adding up.

"In my defense, I was not aware of Tang Ni being my son, I just found out yesterday," Wu Tang was quick to refute her claims.

Tang Mei folded her arms as she looked at him. Her gaze showed that she did not believe him.

And of course, Wu Tang noticed the gaze in her eyes.

"I am serious, take a look at the date on the file, I will admit, I approached you because of Tang Ni, and that was because I felt an undeniable connection with him, I only had a DNA test done a few days ago, and I have not been able to tell you about it," Wu Tang patiently explained him.

When it comes to matters concerning Tang Ni, Wu Tang was weirdly calm.

"So you mean to tell me that you just found out about Tang Ni’s identity, why did you not tell me about it? You just made our situation a public issue," Tang Mei facepalmed as she walked around.

"I was not courageous enough, I could not say the truth, I tried so hard to tell you the truth, but we were both busy with the wedding preparations, there was no time to speak to you," Wu Tang continued with the explanation.

"Forget about it, we need to speak with Tang Ni, since you are his father, you need to talk to him, but how can we speak to him without telling the truth? The truth would be shattering to him," at the end of the day, Tang Mei was still worried about her son.

"I have the perfect excuse, follow me," Wu Tang’s eyes lit up as he walked out of the study with heavy strides.

Tang Mei watched him walk out of the study. She shrugged her shoulders, before deciding to follow him.

"Tang Ni, do you have a moment? Your mom and I would like to speak with you?" Wu Tang knocked on the door of Tang Ni’s room.

"Sure, you can come in," Tang Ni replied, and they only walked in when they heard his permission.

"What do you guys have to say?" Tang Ni asked with innocent eyes, his big doe eyes looking at both his parents cutely. He wondered what they wanted to talk about.

The issues in the house have gotten to him, and he would be lying if he said he was not hurt by it. He just found out that Wu Tang was his father, and though he was excited about the news, he did not know if he were to truly believe it. What if Wu Tang was lying to send the reporters away.

It was scary how much a six-year-old could understand a lot about the world of the adults. Tang Ni was no ordinary kid. He had an IQ higher than his peers.

"You have to promise mom and dad that you will react to it normally," Wu Tang made him promise first.

"I promise," he promised sincerely. He was curious to know about the origin of his birth.
