Chapter 235: Chapter 235: Old Secret

Song Recommendation: Whiplash By Aespa

"Picking the lock?" Li Chuxi asked with a confused smile. She wondered what he meant by that.

Li Meimei was just as confused as her sister, "what do you mean by that?" She could not hold back as she questioned.

"Just watch," Tang Ni was happy that he would be able to show his skills to the twins.

With the hair pin in his hands, he approached the door, and he frowned. The parents outside were still in a moment of deadlock, none was about to give up.

Well, it happened that Tang Mei was on Xin Yan’s and Li Qiang’s side. She missed her son, and she was not a fan of locking the two children in the same room.

A few minutes later, they all heard a click. Tang Ni had just unlocked the door.

He was quick to open the door, and the sound of the door being opened got the adults’ attention.

"Tang Ni," Tang Mei called out with uncertainty as Tang Ni ran out of the room, running into her arms immediately. He could not deny that he missed his mom.

Wu Tang was speechless as he watched everything unfold before his eyes.

"Mom, dad!" The twins exclaimed as they ran out of the room, causing Wu Tang to be speechless once again.

"My babies," Xin Yan squatted to be able to hug them properly. Li Qiang was smiling on the side.

It was rare for Li Qiang to have a smile on his face, but he did.

Wu Tang was frustrated.

"Are you okay? I hope you did not get hurt," Xin Yan asked as she disentangled from the twins. She was searching their bodies for any signs of injuries.

"We are fine mom, we promise," Li Chuxi replied as she turned to look at Tang Ni who was answering Tang Mei’s questions.

"Thank you a lot for nothing," Xin Yan rose to her feet, glaring at Wu Tang, who rolled his eyes. Xin Yan’s words were filled with heavy sarcasm. He could not believe that his plans had been foiled.

He was not going to take it lightly, but he was confused on what he was to do.

"Let’s go home," Xin Yan and Li Qiang held the twins on both sides, it depicted the picture of a happy family.

Tang Ni watched them leave, and he could not help but feel sad. They were the friends he made, and they were leaving him, he was beyond disappointed.

"Stop right there, you are not allowed to leave without listening to my story," Wu Tang yelled out loudly as they were about to step out of the house.

The guards were also blocking the door. No one was allowed to leave without Wu Tang’s permission.

Li Qiang and Xin Yan frowned instinctively on seeing this. Tang Mei stood by the side, protecting Tang Ni. She could see some hints of craziness in his eyes.

Xin Yan and Li Qiang, including their kids, turned to look at him. Since they could not leave, they might as well listen to what he had to say.

Li Qiang felt that something was wrong. They were surrounded by Wu Tang’s men, they were not in a favorable condition as his men were outside.

"What do you have to say?" Xin Yan questioned at once. She could not stop glaring at him.

"Relax, you would have to sit to listen to my story, for it is a long story, I am still a good host," Wu Tang stated, gesturing for them to have their seats. He also looked towards Tang Mei, and urged her to have a seat.

Li Qiang and Xin Yan exchanged glances before they took their seats.

"Why don’t we allow the children to play in the room?" Wu Tang suggested, but his suggestion annoyed Xin Yan as she refused immediately.

"No! I want my kids beside me, it is up to you to say what you have to say, if you can’t, I guess we will take our leave," Xin Yan replied, and she was about to stand.

"No, there is no problem, it is even good that the kids will be here, it will help them judge the situation properly, after all, I believe they have a purer mind than us the parents," Wu Tang was all smiles, but the rest did not find anything funny, but they all kept mum.

"Li Qiang, do you remember your friend? His name was Song Chang," Wu Tang asked as he observed Li Qiang’s expression.

Both Xin Yan and Li Qiang frowned at once. The name rang a bell, and they wondered where they heard the name from.

Finally, it clicked in Li Qiang’s mind.

"Yes, he was a friend of mine, we were very close, before he decided to move out of the country without telling me the reason for his abrupt actions," Li Qiang replied, and Xin Yan recalled as well.

"That man is me," Wu Tang announced, and it was like a bombshell had just been detonated as Li Qiang snapped his head in astonishment towards Wu Tang who had a smug smirk on his face.

"Surprised? I knew you would be, I have been thinking about this day for a very long time, the day I will finally tell you about my identity, and how you will react to it," Wu Tang cackled loudly.

"Li Qiang, thank you for the materials you sent to me, they were really helpful in today’s test," a fat boy approached a young Li Qiang who was focused on his books.

Li Qiang raised his head up to look at the person who had just approached him, and a smile appeared on his face.

"I am glad that it was helpful to you, do you need more?" Young Li Qiang asked with a jolly smile.

Young Li Qiang was approachable, and was friendly. Anyone could be his friend.

"That is not my problem as of now, have you seen the new student? She is gorgeous, she is totally my type," the fat boy who was called Song Chang stated with a dreamy smile.

Li Qiang laughed as he asked while twirling his pen, looking at his friend with a smile, "do you like Xin Yan?"

"Her name is Xin Yan? Beautiful name for a damsel, do you need to ask me? Of course I like her, she is just as I envisioned my future wife to be," Song Chang replied, he could not get Xin Yan’s picture out of his mind.
