Song Recommendation: APT. By Rosé Ft Bruno Mars.
"So, what do you suggest we do? The first thing we need to do is to unite your parents, I have noticed that they are not close to each other, so it is best we work from there, I will convince your dad to bring you to school, so we can discuss better," Li Chu xi took charge immediately.
Tang Ni nodded, finding her suggestion pleasing to the ears. He knew he could always count on Li Chuxi. Although she acted as though she did not care, but deep down, she had a nice heart, and the same went for Li Meimei.

Li Qiang’s Mansion*
"I missed you both, I hope you were not hurt in his house?" Xin Yan asked her kids as she checked their bodies.
Li Chuxi let out an exasperated sigh.
"Mom, I have said, and I will say it again, we are fine, .we were given food at the appropriate time, and Mr. Wu did not even stay in the same room as us, he only wanted us to be friends with Tang Ni," Li Chuxi explained to her. She only wanted her to stop worrying.
"Girls, your mom is just worried about you, do not dismiss her worry as something light, is that clear?" Li Qiang spoke up, and they all directed their gazes towards him.
"Do you understand what I said?" He asked, and the two girls nodded in reply. They would rather not make their parents worried.
"I’m glad you both are back home, I will inform grandpa and grandma that you have returned, meanwhile, you both freshen up, while Aunt Guo prepare lunch for you," Xin Yan had a doting smile on her face as she could not take her eyes off her daughters.
"Alright, mom," the kids smiled as they ran up the stairs to their room.
Xin Yan’s eyes did not leave the kids for a second, as her smile continued to widen.
"Are you happy now? They are back now," Li Qiang took a seat beside her as he pulled her into his arms.
"Yes, I miss my kids, let’s not separate from them again," Xin Yan replied with a small smile.
"We won’t," Li Qiang assured her.
"What are you going to do now? Wu Tang has realized his mistakes, and it turns out there is a bigger villain, would you team up with him?
I feel the matter of the prom night is fishy, we have never truly investigated it, everything is just being complicated," Xin Yan left his arms as she aired her feelings about the entire situation.
Li Qiang turned silent, he was seriously considering her words. What she said made a lot of sense, and if the matter turned out to be what he was thinking, then it was a very thought out plan, and the mastermind was very dangerous.
"If Wu Tang wants, we could team up, and fish the culprit," Li Qiang replied with a profound look in his eyes.
"Do you still want to be friends with him?" Xin Yan asked a significant question.
Li Qiang paused, he was at a loss of words. He did not know what he truly felt. There was no doubt that he missed his friend, but in this current situation, it was all up to Wu Tang if he still wanted to remain friends.
"I feel it is best you both talk things out, if you do, you will be able to find out what is really going on in both of your minds, but then again, it is all up to you," Xin Yan advised.
"I believe you will do the right thing," Xin Yan rose from the chair as she patted his shoulders, before walking away.
Li Qiang let out a sigh. He understood what Xin Yan was saying, and truth to be told, he felt scared. It was ironic that he instilled fear into others, but he was the one feeling scared now.
He closed his eyes, and prayed to make the right decision.

Lu’s Mansion*
"I am glad you decided to see me before leaving, what did you discuss with him?" Mrs. Lu asked.
Lu Wei visited the Lu’s Mansion again at the behest of his father, Mr. Lu.
"Nothing much, you do not need to bother yourself about it," Lu Wei replied. He was not willing to make his mother worry about random and little issues.
Mrs. Lu observed his expression, and she came to the conclusion that he was not as cheerful as he was when he arrived earlier.
This led her to pry more information, and she vowed that she will not let him go without getting a satisfactory answer.
"How was your day?" Lu Wei asked, he was making a move to change the topic.
"I will not respond to you, since you don’t find me close enough to know about how you feel, then why should I give you a response?" Mrs. Lu was throwing a tantrum, and Lu Wei was aware of it.
He was tempted to burst into laughter due to her childish act, but he refrained from it.
"You want to laugh, you think I am being childish, my child doesn’t even care about me anymore," Mrs. Lu squeezed out a couple of tears from her eyes.
Lu Wei was stunned at her drama. He had no idea how he was to react to her drama.
Lu Wei remained silent, and his silence pissed his mother off.
"Won’t you say anything?" Mrs. Lu asked. She felt that her tactics must have failed, seeing that Lu Wei had no reaction whatsoever.
"My sweet mom, I do not want you to worry about me, or the issues concerning Mr. Lu and I, it is not good for your health," Lu Wei walked to her, placed his hands on her shoulders, gently massaging them to relieve her from the stress she was facing.
"Didn’t you want me to get married? I am ready for the marriage, when do I get to meet Gu Shishi?" Lu Wei asked, effectively changing the topic, since he was well aware of the fact that she was worried about that aspect of his life.
