"Take the call," Lu Wei stated after he sensed the hesitation in her.

"Yes, speak with your mom," as Lu Wei spoke, the call got disconnected.

She was about to call her in return when the call entered once more. Lu Wei gave her a reassuring smile as he gestured for her to pick the call.

"Shishi, it’s mom, where are you? Please return home, I am worried about you," Gu Fen’s voice rung out immediately.

Gu Shishi sighed. She was at a loss for words. Perhaps, this was the first time her mother showed immense care and worry to her.
