Chapter 262: Chapter 262: Kidnapped
Song Recommendation: Dance The Night Away By Twice
"You should really see a doctor, please, allow me to call the doctor," Zhang Luiying begged him after she noticed his pale face.
"Fine, you worry too much," Xin Yi gave in. He could sense that she was worried, and to make her feel at ease, he decided it was best to listen to her.
Having the doctor to check up on him would effectively ease her worries.
"Uh, why are you outside?" Zhang Caixuan was confused when he noticed Zhang Luiying step out of the hospital ward.
"Xin Yi is awake, I need to get to the doctor, so she can check his vitals," Zhang Luiying answered, her reply causing Xin Yan to snap her head up
"Brother is awake?" She asked.
"Yes," Zhang Luiying replied.
"I will go get the doctor, you both can stay with Xin Yi meanwhile," Zhang Caixuan volunteered, walking away immediately so there would be no arguments.
"Come on, Sister Luiying, let’s go see brother," Xin Yan held Zhang Luiying’s hands as she pulled her into the ward.
"Brother," Xin Yan called out, her voice choking up due to the emotions.
"Little Yan, don’t tell me you are about to cry," Xin Yi joked after he noticed Xin Yan’s face.
"See him, Sister, he was on the verge of death, and he was able to survive, but he decided to mock me," Xin Yan complained to Zhang Luiying who rubbed her (Xin Yan’s) shoulders.
"Don’t mind him, he isn’t concerned with his health, he doesn’t care about himself, and most importantly, he isn’t concerned with the people who care about him, he is selfish," Zhang Luiying scoffed at Xin Yi, but one could hear the concern in her voice.
"Alright, I apologize, for causing both of you to be worried, it won’t happen again," Xin Yi had no choice but to apologize.
He might end up in a Cold War between both of them if he didn’t.
"I’m glad that the matter has been settled, your uncle is now in jail, and he would probably be getting a life imprisonment, how do you feel about it?" Xin Yan asked, this question was directed towards Zhang Luiying.
"To be honest, I don’t know how I feel, Zhang Bo has ruined my parents’ life, and occasionally, I feel that him staying in jail is not enough punishment for the hurt he has caused my parents," Zhang Luiying replied as she took her seat.
"I understand how you feel, the people we least expected to hurt us are the ones who end up doing so, it is disheartening," Xin Yan smiled through the pain.
She was naturally referring to her past life. She would never have expected Yuan Renshu and Jiang Lanfen to be the villains in her life. Luckily, life gave her another chance, and she was able to redeem herself.

Wu Corporation>
Wu Tang was in a board meeting when he got a message on his phone. He frowned, before deciding to read it.
His eyes widened on reading the contents as he clenched his fists tightly.
"Everybody, out!" He yelled out, and the shareholders in the boardroom all scurried out.
They wondered who might have angered Wu Tang as he had been in a good mood the past few days.
"Boss, what happened?" Bo, who was standing behind him asked with concern laced in his voice.
"The Godfather is back, and he has the kids with him," Wu Tang rubbed his forehead, feeling exhausted.
"The kids, you mean, Tang Ni, and the twins? Is that the kids you are referring to?" Bo asked in astonishment.
"Which other kids would I be talking about? This is so messed up," Wu Tang ruffled his hair.
While he was thinking, he got a call, and it was from Li Qiang. Obviously, Li Qiang had been informed.
"Who is this Godfather?" This was the first question Li Qiang asked once Wu Tang picked the call.
"Is he the person you told me about? The one who helped you?" Li Qiang asked calmly, but this was just the calm before the storm.
His kids were kidnapped by an unknown person, and there was no way they could trace them. This was enough to make Li Qiang go crazy.
"He is the one," Wu Tang replied. As expected, Li Qiang also gets the message.
"Do you have any idea who he might be?" Li Qiang queried. Perhaps, they could start from there, or so he thought.
"Unfortunately, I have no idea who he is, I have never met him before, we only communicated through the internet, the same way he sent a text message, this is our method of communication," Wu Tang responded.
Now that he thought about it, it was his mistake. How could he trust someone who he had not seen at all? He was so blinded by revenge, and the Godfather used that to his advantage.
Because of him, the three kids were in trouble, and all hell would let loose when the mothers found out their kids had gone missing.
"Hold on, I am on my way to your company, and do not inform your wife, and I will do the same, it is best they are not aware of the truth, until we figure out a way to track the kids," Li Qiang advised as he disconnected the call.
He was calmer than Wu Tang, but that did not mean he was not in an awful mood.
Thirty minutes later, Li Qiang arrived at Wu Tang’s company, much to the surprise of the employees.
The surprise also increased when Bo, who is Wu Tang’s personal assistant came in to welcome him.
They began gossiping. While these were gossiping, they had no idea that a storm was brewing under the surface.
"It is all my fault," Wu Tang blamed himself once Li Qiang stepped into the office.
"Hey, don’t blame yourself, you did what you felt was right that year, don’t beat yourself up, I guess he found out we have decided to call a truce, hence, the reason for his actions," Li Qiang analyzed as he took a seat.
"But why attack the kids? They are literally kids, that is awful, and coming from him, I would have expected him to use a moral move," Wu Tang rubbed his forehead.
Ever since he received the news, he had been feeling his headache.
"He is a bad person, it is expected for a bad person to do things which go against the norms," Li Qiang replied with a matter-of-fact tone.
"I think we can track the kids," Li Qiang spoke up after a few moments of silence. He had a smile on his face as he looked at Wu Tang who was confused.
"How do you suggest we track them?" Wu Tang asked excitedly. If Li Qiang had a way of tracking the kids, then he could rest assured.
Once they found the kids’ location, he was going to release his men. He did not care if his business came to light, but he wanted the kids to return home.
"I had a bad feeling about today, so I secretly decided to slip a tracker into my girls’ bracelet, I don’t know if the godfather would be smart enough to notice it, but let’s hope he doesn’t notice it," Li Qiang explained, and Wu Tang’s eyes widened.
"I should have thought about this, after we decided to be friends, the Godfather would surely know about it, but I never expected him to attack the kids, which was why I did not bother placing a tracker on Tang Ni’s body," Wu Tang held his head in shame.
"It is not your fault, do not blame yourself, okay?" Li Qiang consoled him.
"But still," Wu Tang still wanted to blame himself.
"There are no buts, you only need to remain cool and calm, I need a laptop, preferably a smart laptop, it will enable me to work faster," Li Qiang demanded, and Wu Tang gave Bo a look.
Bo understood the look immediately as he rushed out of the office.
"I had almost forgotten that you had a knack for handling computers," Wu Tang decided to engage him in small talks.
"Indeed, did you always practice while you were away? Because, I can vividly recall I was teaching you all these," Li Qiang gave a meaningful look towards Wu Tang, who scratched his head awkwardly.
"I was so busy with my plots, I totally forgot how to handle it, do not forget to teach me when all these are completed," Wu Tang requested.
Li Qiang shook his head while he laughed.
"No problem," Li Qiang agreed, and Bo came rushing in with a laptop, placing it in front of Li Qiang.
Li Qiang looked at his wristwatch, and he frowned. He hoped the godfather had not discovered the chip. It would be bad if he did as he would be unable to track the kids.
