Tang Mo was seen pacing around, his eyes unable to leave the entrance of the door.

"I was unable to feel what you both felt when I was about to get married to Tang Mei," he said with a sad smile.

"You are holding yourself back, tell her how you feel, even if she doesn’t love you which I doubt that would be the case, she can still learn to love you, you both have a son together," Tang Mo advised.

"I have heard what you said, after your wedding, I will tell her how I feel," Wu Tang was comforted by her words.

After a while, they heard a noise. The bride had shown up already!

The men all laughed, seeing his silly and childish act.

"I’m glad we are finally married," Tang Mo held Zhou Mian’s hands as they watched the performance which was held just for them.

The Church wedding had been completed, and having said their vows, they, including the guests, made their way to the reception hall.

"I’m glad you came into my life, continue to stay by my side," Zhou Mian replied with a heartfelt wish, her eyes were unable to hide the love she had for Tang Mo.

"I promise to always be by your side, till death do us part," Tang Mo vowed, repeating his vows from earlier.

Meanwhile, the twins and Tang Ni were busy plotting.

"Why did you call us?" Lu Chuxi, the ever impatient one, asked with folded arms.

"Today, we will implement our plans," Tang Ni said to them as his eyes darted between the twins, with one looking uninterested, and the other eager to listen to what he had to say.

"And what plans are you talking about?" Li Meimei asked with interest.

"The plan to bring my mom and dad together, I overheard my dad saying he was going to confess to my mom, to accelerate the process, I want to lock them up in the same room," Tang Ni explained with a scheming smile.

Li Chuxi became interested immediately.

"How do you plan to achieve that?" Li Chuxi asked, her eyes were unable to hide the interest she had for this plan.

"That is where you both will come in, I have surveyed this hall, there are rooms, so I will need you to take my mom to the first room on the first floor, I will bring my dad to her, and we can watch the magic happen," Tang Ni patiently explained to them.

"How would we get that done?" Li Meimei asked, feeling a bit confused.

"I believe your sister has the perfect idea for that," Tang Ni replied as he directed a mischievous smile towards Li Chuxi, who scoffed.

"Can’t you act your age?" Tang Ni complained with pouted lips.

"How I act is none of your business. Meimei, let’s go." Li Chuxi directly pulled her sister away, leaving Tang Ni to shake his head in despair.

"Sister, why do you keep acting that way with Tang Ni? He is our friend, isn’t he?" Li Meimei asked inquisitively.

Li Chuxi’s face softened as she looked at her sister.

"I don’t hate him, it’s precisely because I find him to be a friend which is why I act that way with him, you are the only one worthy of seeing my smile, now, let’s get Uncle Wu and Aunty Tang together, shall we?" Li Chuxi’s face radiated a rare smile as they both made their way to Tang Mei.

"You are here," Wu Tang exclaimed with surprise when he saw Tang Mei in the room.

His son had told him that he found something weird in this room, so he came to check it out, he never expected to see the mother of his child.

"I should be asking you, why are you here?" Tang Mei asked confused.

She had no idea what was happening. The twins had told her that someone was trying to steal something here, but once she arrived, she could not find anything.

"We were tricked!" The two exclaimed at once, it didn’t help that they heard a click. The door had been locked!

’What is Tang Ni trying to do?’ Wu Tang questioned himself as he rubbed his forehead tirelessly.

"So, do you have any idea why they decided to lock us together?" Tang Mei asked as she rested on the wall.

"Honestly, I have no idea, but perhaps, Tang Ni wants us to work things out, he wants a complete home," Wu Tang could only consider this to be the answer.

"But we have already promised him a complete home, what more does he want?" Tang Mei asked with confusion.

"Maybe, he wants us to love each other like normal couples," Wu Tang replied with an uncertain voice, leaving Tang Mei speechless.

"Why do you say that?" She asked, unable to hide how awkward she felt after the question.

"Mei," Wu Tang started as he walked closer to her, leaving her stupefied.

Tang Mei’s heart beat against her chest rapidly. She had no idea what he wanted to say, but she felt anticipation.

"I know we met under terrible circumstances, from me kidnapping our son, to us being filmed having sex, then finding out Tang Ni is my son, to us getting married, and finally redemption, we have been through a lot."

Wu Tang paused, and he finally came to stand in front of her, while taking her hands into his.

"Tang Mei, I like you, no, I love you, I don’t know when I started feeling this way, but I know it would not change for this lifetime, can you be mine?" Wu Tang asked while he stared straight into her eyes for an answer.

Tang Mei’s heart fluttered. She would be a liar if she said she didn’t feel touched by his words.

She could not deny that she was also developing feelings for him as well.

"Yes, I will be yours, let’s grow old together," Tang Mei replied, her eyes were filled with unshed tears.

Two Years Later>

"Li Quan," Xin Yan could be seen seated on a chair as she called out to someone.

"Mommy," a childish voice was heard as a little boy walked unsteadily with the help of Li Chuxi and Li Meimei.

"Mom," The girls chorused, and Xin Yan smiled with bliss.

"Your dad will return soon, so make sure to be on your best behavior," Xin Yan advised, and all three nodded positively.

A lot has happened in these two years. It turns out that Xin Yan was pregnant, and this was the news she wanted to share with Li Qiang.

When he found out that they would be having another baby, Li Qiang was over the moon.

Li Qiang treated her like an egg during this period. He also apologized to his Grandfather as he realized the reason for his actions.

The day Xin Yan gave birth to Li Quan, Li Qiang was overjoyed with happiness.

Wu Tang and Tang Mei finally had a proper marriage, and currently, Tang Mei is pregnant. The bond between the family kept growing.

"They should be down shortly," Xin Yan replied, and true to her word, the kids appeared from the stairs.

"I missed you," Li Quan pouted while the others burst out laughing.

"Why are you still awake?" Li Qiang asked once he walked out of the shower. He could see Xin Yan had a profound look on her face.

"Nothing much, I was just reliving my past life, I have no idea if I should thank Jiang Lanfen and Yuan Renshu for killing me that night, it gave me an opportunity to spend a lifetime with you," Xin Yan stated with a reminiscing smile.

"I’m glad you are here with me, let’s forget about the past in your two lifetimes, and let’s make happy memories, I love you Xin Yan," Li Qiang confessed, and a smile appeared on her face, a blissful and fulfilled smile.
