Immediately the ride came to a stop, Li Qiang and Li Chuxi left it and ran towards the direction through which the unfamiliar man and Xin Yan had passed through.

"Li Chuxi, you cannot follow him, it will be really dangerous for you," Li Qiang stopped when he noticed the little girl behind him.

"I am sorry dad, but I will not listen to you at this moment, mom is in danger and it is all my fault, I should have not been adamant on taking the ride," Ki Chuxi was annoyed with herself.

She felt it was her fault her mom got kidnapped. Perhaps, if she had not been insistent on wanting to get on the merry-go-round, her mom would still be with her.

Li Qiang sighed as he squatted to her level. He did not care about the fact that he was already recognised.

People swarmed close to him but he did not bother. He was only concerned about his little daughter who was blaming herself for her mom’s disappearance.

"Chuxi, I will say this to you and you should listen to me carefully, are you ready?" Li Qiang asked with a serious tone and she nodded, her eyes glistening with tears.

"You are not the reason for your mom’s situation at the moment, do not blame yourself, your mom, Xin Yan will feel bad if you do so, do you want her to feel bad?" Li Qiang asked and she shook her head negatively.

"But," she wanted to protest but he shook his head immediately.

"There is no buts, listen to me, it is not your fault and it was never your fault, your mom will not blame you, she would not even think towards it, I also will not blame you, right now, we have to think of how to save her, that is meant to be our next move," Li Qiang said to her and she nodded with understanding.

Listening to his words, Li Chuxi felt more at ease as she gave him a smile.

He breathed out in relief as she saw her smile.

"Come on," he stood up and stretched his right hand towards her.

She cocked her head to look at him as she wondered what he wanted her to do.

"Didn’t you want to save your mom? This is the right time to do so," Li Qiang said to her and she happily placed her small hand into his before they walked away, the small crowd which had formed dispersing as they left.

Li Qiang and Li Chuxi walked out of the park but Xin Yan was not in sight.

He cursed under his breath before he walked to his car, followed by Li Chuxi.

"What do we do now?" Li Chuxi asked as she bit her fingers helplessly.

"We will find her, you just be hopeful, I believe we will find her," he assured her while they were in the car and she nodded while looking at the window, anxiety and worry evident in her expression.

But her looking at the window, she did not expect to see something. Her eyes widened before she turned to look at her dad excitedly.

"Dad, look, that is the man," Li Chuxi exclaimed as she pointed towards a particular spot.

Li Qiang turned to look at the spot and his eyes turned cold. Li Chuxi was right, that was the man.

"Stay in the car Chuxi, by any means do not step out of this car, did you hear me?" He asked and she nodded.

He ruffled her hair slightly before he exited the car. He walked away, not without locking the car without Chuxi’s knowledge.

The few weeks he had spent with her made him realize something. She was just like Xin Yan, extremely stubborn and though she had promised him not to leave the car, there was no telling what she might do.

Li Chuxi having no idea what her dad had done could only look on as she prayed in her mind.

Li Qiang on the other hand followed the man stealthily and he paused in his tracks when the man did the same.

The man spoke with someone on the phone and Li Qiang frowned when he heard what he had said.

"Tang Mei, Jiang Lanfen," he whispered to himself as he watched the man put away his phone, as he waited.

He seemed to be waiting for his employers.

Li Qiang waited with him. He was going to save Xin Yan today, whether the enemies liked it or not.

Fifteen minutes later, a car pulled up and Li Qiang straightened immediately.

The car was opened and the people who exited the car was not unfamiliar to Li Qiang.

His eyes turned red as they burnt in rage while looking at the two lady who approached the man. They were Tang Mei and Jiang Lanfen.

"Were you able to get her?" He heard Tang Mei asked as she removed her sunglasses.

The man nodded as he directed for them to check the car.

Tang Mei nodded to Jiang Lanfen who walked towards the car and once she opened the back door of the car, Xin Yan was visible to all of them, including Li Qiang.

Li Qiang’s hands clenched and since he could not hold it in anymore, he walked out of his hiding spot, exposing himself.

Tang Mei was the first to notice him and she looked at him, all the blood on her face drained immediately.

"Li-Li Qiang," she stuttered and Jiang Lanfen turned to look at the spot Tang Mei was looking at. freeweɓnovel-cøm

She had the same reaction which Tang Mei had, if not worse as she stared at him as though she had seen a ghost. He looked far worse than a ghost in her words.

She stepped back in fright, taking cover behind Tang Mei who found her to be disgusting at that particular point in time.

The man on the other hand fell to the ground immediately as he confessed that he was forced to do it, exposing Tang Mei and Jiang Lanfen at the same time.

"I expected this from Jiang Lanfen, but never you Tang Mei," these were the only words he spoke before he walked to the car, picked Xin Yan into his arms and walked away and they were unable to do anything.
