Rebirth: The unfavored Princess is the Tyrant King's favorite-Chapter 51: The bed it is. Lie down
When Nicholas pulled Luciana out of the room, her mind was in a daze. She looked lifeless as he allowed herself to be pulled around by him like a zombie with no thoughts of her own. The annoying thing was that her tears kept falling even when she didn’t want to cry.
They reached a secluded part of the hallway, and Nicholas paused, pushing her back against the wall. He stared at her as if he was searching for something. His gaze was full of questions as he raised his hands.
Luciana saw his hand approaching her face and flinched. She closed her eyes and held her breath in fear of what he was about to do.
’She is scared of me,’ he inwardly told himself, and that discovery irked him to no end. ’Why didn’t she have this kind of expression when David was all over her?’
"Open your eyes, Luciana," he demanded, and Luciana’s eyes flew open. She was too scared of what he might do to her if she defied him.
"What is this? Are you throwing a tantrum and trying to turn the tables on me? Are you trying to make me feel guilty?" He asked, and Luciana shook her head to deny it. That’s not what she was trying to achieve at all.
"Then stop crying because it’s not going to happen. I’m barely holding myself back from ripping those clothes off your skin so that you don’t continue to reek of him. He was all over you; did he touch you? Did you enjoy it?" He spat venomously, and Luciana’s eyes widened.
"I didn’t," she sniffed.
"Then why are you so sad after parting away from him? Did my arrival spoil your fun? Tell me, what were you planning on doing if I hadn’t arrived? Sleep with him and then elope with him afterward?" He growled dangerously.
Luciana felt rage bubbling within her at his words. What was he insinuating? That she was a cheap harlot? Did he see her as some loose woman willing to spread her legs to anyone? She didn’t even know when she raised her hands and delivered a slap to his face.
"Slap!"
Luciana’s eyes widened in shock, and she stared at her hands and his face simultaneously; the side of his cheek was beginning to redden due to the impact.
Nicholas had seen Luciana’s hand approaching but had intentionally decided not to dodge it. He wanted to pile up her crimes so that when he decided to punish her later, he’d get a lot of excuses to use.
"I... I... I didn’t mean it," she stammered.
"You didn’t mean it?" He chuckled darkly, the sound sending shivers down her spine.
"It is my turn now," he added and crashed his lips onto hers.
Luciana began to protest, wiggling out of his embrace. But he held her in place.
"I’m going to kiss you so badly, and I’m not going to stop until your lips are swollen," he whispered, his voice magnetic and tantalizing, his tone promising wicked and bad things, and Luciana froze. His hand held her shoulders and moved his thumb around in circles around her shoulders, inching towards her collarbone and neck.
Luciana felt her tense muscles relaxing under his touch, and she could feel his fingertips on her skin through the fabric of her dress as he massaged her gently. She stiffened when he placed a kiss on the crook of her neck and sucked on the skin with such expertise, making her let out a low moan.
Luciana’s eyes widened as her hand flew to cover her mouth in alarm.
’Scandalous! How had she allowed herself to be seduced by him like this? That too in such an open space. What if someone passed by?’ Luciana tried to push him away from her, but he wouldn’t budge.
"Stop wiggling; you slapped me. I told you it was my turn, didn’t I?" he whispered.
"Nick, please stop; what if somebody passes by?" She said in a weak attempt at making him stop.
"True, I don’t want someone walking up on us and interrupting us and spoiling the mood," he said and took a step back. Luciana felt she was finally free from his clutches. She breathed a sigh of relief when he unexpectedly tugged her along the corridors, dragging her with him, and stuffed her into the room they had left just a moment ago and closed the door behind them.
"Now choose: Where should I kiss you? On the desk, the couch, or the bed?" He asked, and Luciana stared at him as if he was crazy.
"I don’t want any of them," she said, and Nicholas smirked.
"Okay, the bed it is. Lie down," he demanded, and Luciana shook her head in protest so much that she nearly had a whiplash.
"Don’t test my patience," he said in a dangerously low voice.
Luciana saw the seriousness on his face and wanted to faint. ’Maybe he would leave her alone if she did right? He wouldn’t forcefully wake her up and kiss her, right?’ She thought, her mind spiraling.
"Try fainting and see what happens," he said, and Luciana looked at him in horror. How did he know what she was thinking?
"The couch is okay," she said, accepting defeat. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"I get to choose since you didn’t choose when you had the opportunity. Come and lie on the bed," he said with a hint of finality in his voice.
Like a lamb to the slaughter, Luciana approached the bed and sat on it, but lying on her back proved difficult; her back was so straight that it showed no signs of bending.
Nicholas saw how tense and stiff she had become, held her shoulders, and carefully lowered her onto the bed. Luciana stared at him with surprise. She had thought he was going to roughly shove her onto the bed. But even though he was gentle, Luciana couldn’t help her heart skipping a beat when he removed his sword from his sword belt and placed it between her and the wall before climbing the bed and hovering over her. In the next moment, he pressed his body down on hers...
