[Dream Weapon Forge]

A Special Divine System Function and Soul Grimoire Ability.

Allows for the user to evolve the Dream Weapons they possess, alongside the Dream Weapons allies possess, as long as they meet certain conditions.

These conditions can vary from Dream Weapon to Dream Weapon, but they usually require to slay a certain quantity of Nightmares or high level Monsters with a large quantity of Mana within them.

The Dream Weapons will absorb this energy, once it is accumulated enough, the Dream Weapon is capable of evolving if chosen, and with the original owner’s consent.

Each Dream Weapon will require a set of Materials and System Points to evolve, the higher the materials and the system points required, the stronger the Dream Weapon will evolve.

Certain Dream Weapons might end up changing into completely different things altogether, so please be aware of the risks.

"Yes I am listening," I nodded. "Well the thing is quite persistent, but we agreed we would let you fight."

"Ugh, you girls are clearly just cowards...!" Alma suddenly said, confronting them.

Honestly, I wasn’t the only one shocked by those words coming from her, Sofia, Emily, and even Martina opened their eyes widely as their jaws dropped.

"Well said Alma!" Nyx said while nodding. "You girls have amazing potential and powers within you, but you won’t ever be able to release it all if you don’t fight and overcome your fears!"

"A-Ah... Well, Alma, Nyx..." Sofia muttered, feeling a bit conflicted. "What can I hope to do either way? It’s not like it’s the simplest thing in the world or something and..."

"No she’s right..." Emily seemed thoughtful. "Why am I even acting like a pussy? This isn’t even like me! Okay I’m in, let’s smash that motherfucker’s head."

Her body overflowed with energy, as her armor rapidly manifested and gained a second layer, making her look even bulkier, with spikes releasing electricity everywhere.

She manipulated the electricity seamlessly by now, without her even realizing, and gathered it in her hands, something she wouldn’t had even been able to do before, or well, a few days ago.

"Yeah!" Alma agreed, quickly summoning her Undine Staff. "Undine Staff, let’s do our best!"

Her Staff’s aura overflowed from it, as it covered her body with an aura resembling constantly flowing aquamarine colored water, forming many bubbles around her body, constantly rotating around her, while icicles manifested quickly after.

Formerly just a healer, Alma had rapidly evolved her abilities beyond the boundaries of what everyone thought possible for healers and buffers like her. The water she used to heal could be employed into attacking, and even frozen and shaped into deadly icicles.

"Hahh... Dammit, I’m in too! Someone has to protect Sofia anyway~!"

Martina smiled, her star-shaped pupils shone brightly as her Puppet appeared behind her, releasing pink smoke and giggling evilly. I couldn’t quite tell much of a difference from before, but I think she has become fully capable of controlling her emotions and her powers now, unlike back then where she almost lost her mind and almost ended up becoming a Nightmare like it happened with Sofia.

"Y-You girls really never change..." Sofia facepalmed. "You’ll be hopeless without my assistance either way, so don’t you dare go on alone! I’ll use the power of my Dream Spirit if necessary to vanquish nightmares!"

It’s not about stats, or skills, or leveling up, in this world people only develops through hard work and also through "character development" as some would say, where these people must overcome their fears, insecurities, and other challenges and shortcomings beyond physical exercise and figuring out stuff with their powers.

And that’s probably one of the things I love about this world and the Dream Weapons, and what they embody alongside the Nightmares, and how interconnected they’re both with each other.

"Alright girls! Lucifer and Nyx should stay behind, alright? We’re going in! Let’s go!"

Without further ado, we charged forward. Lucifer opened his blazing barrier, letting us through as we leaped towards the giant fat lard of a Nightmare Demon floating above the skies.

"OHO? Are you coming after me, little girls?! A FOOLISH CHOICE! GYAHAHA!"

As he laughed viciously, he waved his hand hands, unleashing giant downpours of deadly black miasma towards us.

"Now it’s time to show your strength!" I said. "Alma, freeze the miasma! Emily, smash it with your hands and burn it with your thunder! Sofia, purify it with your light! Martina, push it back with your puppet!"

I commanded them towards victory.
