Chapter 1737: Against Three Sects At Once

-----

"Master!" Wu Lieng’s disciples rushed to his side, hugging him tightly as they celebrated.

Little Black joined in, hugging him and licking his entire face.

"Hahah, calm down, you brats!" Wu Lieng laughed.

"How did you even do that?!"

"It was awesome!"

"You’re so strong, Master!"

"We can finally be proud of you."

"Mereow!"

"What do you mean only now you’re proud of me?!" Wu Lieng grumbled. "Who said that? Who was it?!"

Maria smiled warmly as she watched the joyful scene. Then she noticed her daughter flying to her side.

"Mama, what do we do now?" Nyx asked.

"Ah, right," Maria nodded. "We should get going. But first... let’s collect our gains."

Maria swiftly consumed the Immortal Domains of the Iron Fist Immortal Family, to their great horror.

Afterward, she placed the entire Iron Mountain inside her Soul Realm, along with the city that belonged to the Iron Fist Sect.

The Sect Master offered explanations, detailing their defeat and how they were now part of the Heavenly Demon Alliance, dedicated to freeing Murim from the tyranny of the Murim Alliance and the Heavenly Palace.

The sect’s disciples willingly joined the fight under their master’s leadership. Maria placed them all inside the Pagoda for the battles ahead and gave them Manual Books of her Martial Arts methods to help them adapt.

Of course, invisible ghostly chains bound their souls through a Soul Contract, preventing mutual harm or betrayal and ensuring the alliance remain secure.

With that settled, the Ghostly Pagoda resumed its journey, crossing hundreds of mountains and forests at incredible speed until it reached a vast area bathed in perpetual sunlight, where the sun shone the brightest.

This region of the Thousand Mountains was rich with unique Spirit Treasures and Martial Beasts of the Sunlight Element, making it an ideal place to cultivate this power.

Atop the largest Sunlight Mountain stood a grand sect, a powerful matriarchal order of fierce blazing swordswomen and swordsmen who wielded burning blades.

From kilometers away, Maria could see it clearly: the Sunlight Mountain Palace, home to the Sunshine Empress and her daughters, according to the information she had gathered.

"Apparently the Sunlight Damsel was one of her daughters..."

Maria continued analyzing the mountain from afar and quickly sensed hundreds of surging Ki Auras.

There was another power too, resembling potent Divinities.

Then she saw it.

A massive army of over a thousand soldiers.

Some were clearly from Murim, wielding blazing swords—the sect’s own warriors.

The others looked different, with large muscular bodies clad in Greko-Roman soldier attire, golden Spartan helmets, long golden spears, and massive shields.

Maria recognized them instantly.

"Ares’ Soldiers from Olympus. So this is where they’ve been hiding... or rather, living?"

But they were not all. Though the combined forces of the sect and these soldiers seemed formidable, there was more.

Beside them loomed a mass of darkness mixed with a massive poisonous cloud. From within emerged at least a hundred members of the Poison Sect.

Their Sect Master was absent, but several Elders had come.

Behind them floated two gigantic structures. Maria’s idea was not unique; others had done the same.

One resembled a black tower built from bones. The other was a wooden castle of dark timber, covered in purple leaves and red flowers.

"The Darkwood Sect and Nether Harbor Sect. So they’re here too... Everyone’s gathered."

The only ones missing were the Heavenly Palace.

Yes.

And just as Maria thought of them.

FLAAASH!

A brilliant flash of golden light descended from the Low Heavens, parting the sea of white clouds to reveal a gigantic golden Buddha.

Completely made of gold, it appeared to be a massive puppet or golem. Inside, Maria sensed the Auras of over thirty Nascent Soul Cultivators.

And three Immortals.

"Hoh, I see. They rushed their preparations after learning we crushed two sects in just a couple of hours," Maria said with a confident smile. "Hello, everyone!"

She waved casually, her gentle smirk sending chills down the spines of those watching from afar. Her Aura twisted reality itself, warping it with her otherworldly power.

"T-That must be her, right?!" the Sunshine Empress asked from her floating throne of gold and flames.

Surrounding her were her three daughters and the future husband of her youngest—a tall, muscular Olympian War Hero with the Bloodline of Ares flowing through his veins.

"It’s her..." the Sunlight Damsel said, her hands trembling. "And that damn old man over there...! Wu Lieng! He’s still alive after all this!"

"The informants said he defeated the Iron Fist Sect Master! Is that really true?!" her eldest sister asked.

"It can’t be. He wasn’t even at Core Formation!" the middle sister insisted.

"They’re all very strong..." Diomedes said, his eyes widening briefly. "Wait...! Long silvery-white hair, glowing red eyes with faint phantasmal flames... a black dress. It can’t be! Is it her? It could be a coincidence, but...!"

"What is it, Diomedes?" the Sunshine Empress asked, unsettled by the hero’s sudden reaction.

"Two weeks ago, we received a report that Phobos, one of Ares’ direct sons, was killed on Floor 45! Since then, the Gods of Olympus have been searching for the culprit!" Diomedes explained. "I can’t believe it. She matches every description we received!"

"Y-You’re saying she killed one of the Gods?!" the Sunlight Damsel gasped. "Was he stronger than you?"

"I never fought Lord Phobos. He was more strategist than warrior," Diomedes replied. "And my uncle... However, I’m fairly confident I was stronger in raw physical power. Perhaps... but now I’m not so sure. Just how boundless is that woman?! Is it even possible to avenge my uncle without bringing down the entire Olympian pantheon? No, they would never go that far for Phobos alone..."

"Ease your worries, my son-in-law," the Sunshine Empress said firmly. "We are not alone. The Poison Sect Master sent his Thousand Poison Cloud and a hundred assassins to infiltrate the battle and eliminate as many enemies as possible. The Darkwood Sect contributed their Millenary Death Tree House and their strongest Sorcerers. The Nether Harbor sent their White Bone Tower and another hundred members. These powerful Immortal Treasures are living, breathing formations capable of devastating attacks."
