Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!-Chapter 1761: An Overwhelming Monster
-----
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Countless explosions engulfed her surroundings, but Maria shifted into her true Outer God form. Reality distorted around her as millions of black tears floated in the air, consuming the blazing spheres until they vanished.
"Congratulations. You forced me into this form. Your strength is truly commendable."
"A-AAAAHHH! AAAAAAHHHH!"
Red Heaven screamed in agony as Maria’s hand reached his face. Despite his frantic regeneration, darkness and void swallowed him whole until he disappeared within her Dominion.
"..."
"..."
The two remaining Heavenly Saints froze in terror, unable to aid their "sibling."
It wasn’t unwillingness that paralyzed them.
Their bodies simply refused to move.
They faced a being so horrifying that horror alone chained them in place.
"Don’t worry. He’s fine," Maria said with a gentle smile. From her shadows, a blazing red and purple figure emerged.
Their eyes widened in utter disbelief.
Red Heaven had returned.
As her eternal friend.
Maria caressed his fiery face, patting his head tenderly.
"He’s such a good boy now. Look how happy he is."
"..."
The trauma of his death had shattered Red Heaven’s mind. Transformed into an Undead, he stared at them with empty, hollow eyes.
"R-Red Heaven..."
"Monster...! Demon! We have to escape! Yellow Heaven, use the Teleportation Artifact—get out of here!"
"What?! But sister!"
"You must warn our Emperor about the true monster she is! She’s beyond anything we’ve faced. He’s our only hope!"
"B-But...!"
"GO!!!"
Purple Heaven hurled Yellow Heaven far away with all her strength. Then she turned to face Maria, her Aura surging wildly. Shadows and poison enveloped her, transforming her into a towering giantess.
"I’ll be your opponent! If you have even a shred of honor, don’t chase him!"
"Oh, but I have no honor," Maria replied coldly. "Just like you, who slaughter innocents, torture children, and claim moral superiority. Ridiculous."
She sent Red Heaven after Yellow Heaven. Purple Heaven charged forward, and their clash began. Explosions of darkness and nightmares ripped across the skies, warping the Low Heavens.
Purple Heaven’s Aura morphed into thousands of specters that fused into her body, amplifying her strength to monstrous levels.
Maria’s techniques faltered constantly. Swords were parried, spells shattered or negated entirely.
"Aha, you fight more seriously than the red one."
"You monster! I hope Yellow Heaven already escaped...!"
"Oh, I wouldn’t count on that."
"What?!"
Purple Heaven glanced over and saw Yellow Heaven struggling desperately against Red Heaven.
Though his mind was gone, Red Heaven had grown stronger as an Undead, absorbing Nightmare and Death energies into his being.
Yellow Heaven held the speed advantage, zipping through the skies in bursts of lightning, but Red Heaven split into countless clones, overwhelming his sibling.
"No...!"
Fury consumed Purple Heaven. She unleashed a barrage of devastating axe strikes at Maria, slicing her body into countless fragments.
"DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!"
Her attacks were precise, masterful, brimming with years of honed skill.
Yet against Maria, she began to slow.
Cursed runes glowed across her body, draining her Lifeforce relentlessly.
"I’ve run out of patience."
Maria surged with power. Her Outer God form reinforced itself dozens of times over, becoming immensely resilient. She started tanking Purple Heaven’s blows head-on.
"What?!"
Purple Heaven desperately defended herself. Powerful techniques tried to bind Maria, only for a single sword to slice them apart.
Immortal Artifacts summoned beasts and effects, but Maria devoured them all with her Void Shadows.
"I do hope your Emperor proves more challenging!"
Maria laughed as Purple Heaven screamed in rage. The heavens trembled. Purple energy overflowed, sprouting angelic wings of violet light that granted blinding speed.
She blitzed through Maria’s techniques, pushing with everything she had.
Yet no strike landed meaningfully.
"It’s over."
Maria appeared above her. A colossal cosmic sword materialized from her soul and plunged downward with overwhelming force.
Purple Heaven tried to flee, only to discover a Dimensional Void Barrier trapping her in place.
"RRRAAAAAHHHH!"
With no escape, she roared and clashed against the blade, pouring every ounce of power into resistance.
And yet...
SLAAAASH!
Her axes shattered. Maria’s sword cleaved through her head and down her body, splitting her in two.
Her formidable Physique began regenerating instantly.
But nine more swords materialized around her.
"AAAHHH...!"
Panic seized her. In that fleeting moment, the blades struck nine times, reducing her to pieces.
Then a vast ocean of liquid void—Maria’s Void Tear Ocean—surged and consumed her completely.
"NOOOOOO!"
She thrashed and fought, fists pounding against the darkness.
But ultimately, she succumbed.
"Was that Purple Heaven’s scream?!"
Yellow Heaven looked down in horror. The entire Immortal army lay massacred—some by their own turned soldiers, others crushed by Maria’s unstoppable Family. A giant white dragon, a black dragon, and a vampire woman reveled in the chaos, slaughtering dozens with graceful, deadly joy.
"COME... HERE..."
"Aaaahh!"
Yellow Heaven panicked at Red Heaven’s hollow voice. He transformed into a massive thunderbolt and shot higher. Frantically searching his Immortal Domain, he grasped the relic—a small white gate.
"I must reach the Emperor and—"
"Oh? That will take me to him? Wonderful. Thank you."
"Huh?!"
Space distorted. A black hole opened, and a massive hand emerged, snatching the relic from his grasp.
It should have been impossible—his thunder form moved far too quickly for anyone to catch.
"Wait...! GIVE IT BACK!"
He screamed in fury, only for giant black and golden axes to slash through his limbs. His thunderbolt body destabilized and exploded midair.
BOOOM!
"Ungh...! What...!"
He looked up to see Maria looming above him—and beside her, a woman shrouded in purple mist.
"Purple Heaven?!"
"..."
She remained silent. Maria had sealed her mouth against further insults. Though she retained her sanity as an Undead, her rage would never cease.
"Sorry, but your show ends here."
Maria smiled coldly. Nine swords plunged downward. Yellow Heaven gritted his teeth, splitting into five thunder clones that scattered in different directions.
Yet...
BOOOM!
"Ngaaah?!"
Agonizing pain surged through him. He couldn’t escape far—an enormous Dominion had manifested, trapping him in an endless dark void.
A sea of void tears rose from below, devouring everything. Yellow Heaven panicked, becoming a colossal thunderstorm and hurling lightning in every direction.
"DAMN IT! DAMN IT! GAAAAAAHHHH!"
Darkness swallowed him as his two siblings held him in place. He resisted longest of all, but Maria consumed him whole—then regurgitated him as an Undead from the black hole in her chest.
