The sun was setting in the west, and a few pieces of reddish cloud lingered on the horizon.

Dusk was one of the most optimal times for activity within the Divine Ruins.
"Isn’t this just an ancient village?" Compass exclaimed, looking at the village before them with his mouth agape.
After passing through a mist-like protective layer, Yue Jinghua and the eleven other members of the Four Unlikes Team once again saw the scene before them clearly, revealing a complete village landscape.
Before entering the Divine Ruins, everyone felt a bit anxious. The Divine Ruins’ reputation for danger preceded it; everyone thought it would be littered with traps. No one expected that what they would see would be this sight. It was an ancient mountain village, built along the mountains with roads, stone houses, rivers, trestle houses, and various remaining facilities, including Dark Beast pens.
The peak of the mountain was shrouded in a white fog, behind which the outlines of a mountain could be vaguely seen.
"It seems the rumors are true. Before becoming the God Demon Ancient Battlefield, the Divine Ruins were the birthplace of the Sky Witch Clan. The Sky Witch Clan was considered the branch closest to gods among the Human Race. They were proficient in astronomy, geography, medicine, military, and breeding; it is said that the most gifted Sky Witches could even summon Holy Beasts. Before the outbreak of the God and Demon War a million years ago, the civilization of the Sky Witch Ancient Village was on par with any continent in the current Star Planeland. This was Ying Wuwang’s first venture to this legendary ruin.
Even among the Demon Clan, the Divine Ruins were well-known.

How they disappeared and how the village came to be ruined was never mentioned in the Continent History nor recorded in Four Symbols City.
The prosperity of the Sky Witch Clan was like a pile of paper ashes on a deserted grave, scattered by the endless wind of time.
It appears that the rumors of the Divine Ruins being a cursed land are true; experts above the Dan Realm among the Dark Practitioners, the Divine Clan, and Holy Beasts are prohibited from entering, and the cultivation of any other Alien Race entering the ruins is suppressed, at most reaching only the Heavenly Dark Realm.
For the rest of them, whose cultivation was below the Dan Realm, the suppression of cultivation or the Demon Clan curse had little impact.
"Master, due to the prohibition, I can no longer be summoned after entering the Divine Ruins," the Snake-haired Little Gore said after Yue Jinghua checked her cultivation.
Aside from Snake-haired Gorgon, which had clearly broken through to the Holy-grade, the rest of Yue Jinghua’s Dark Beasts were around the High-level Peak and were unaffected in the Divine Ruins.
"Understood, you should cultivate well within the Star Sea," Yue Jinghua instructed, then asked, "Color Worm, are you unaffected?"
"Oh, who am I? I am the First Divine Worm of the Plane; a mere curse cannot do anything to me," the Gold Eater Worm said upon hearing Yue Jinghua’s summons, immediately clinging to Yue Jinghua’s collar, peeking out.
"Go back, with the Demon Clan rampant here, you wouldn’t want to be swallowed alive. Stay obediently in the Star Sea for now, and keep an eye on Qing Pu’s movements," Yue Jinghua was not worried about her safety; within the Divine Ruins, everyone was equal, and the highest cultivation was the Heavenly Dark, even the Demon General Hong Lei was at that level.
"Oh, ugly, you want me to watch over Gao Shuaiqiang? I wouldn’t dare; if he finds out, I’ll lose my life," the Color Worm said fearlessly but was second only afraid of Qing Pu’s gaze, sharp as a sword, which could flay its skin with a single glance.
"If you don’t obey, I can strip your skin right now," Yue Jinghua threatened coldly, causing the Gold Eater Worm to immediately beg for mercy, knowing it feared Yue Jinghua’s ferocity the most.
The village’s terrain was complex, surrounded by large patches of shrub forests, likely harboring many unknown Demonic Beasts and intruders.
Not only did she and Ying Wuwang need to stay vigilant around this prominent figure of the Demon Clan, but she also had to be wary of the spreading Black Vine Pearl Flower on her body.
Yue Jinghua also secretly pulled out Xie’s map and was somewhat disappointed that it didn’t display clear terrain and village distribution as it did in the Four Symbols City.
Possibly due to the special nature of the Divine Ruins or perhaps her spiritual power cultivation being insufficient, she could only see the topography of the current area, with the rest largely engulfed in the thick fog, the deepest part of the fog being the mountains behind the village.
Xie’s map showed that this village was called the Sky Witch Ancient Village, with roads turned into stone steps due to the mountainous terrain. Following the stone steps was the main road through the village, arranged in a feather-like pattern, running through the entire village and leading to the towering mountains at the village’s rear.
They were located in the northwest corner of the village, with the outermost part being a village wall.
"Let’s first head into the core area of the Sky Witch Village to check the situation inside," Ying Wuwang’s words cut off Yue Jinghua’s thoughts about the Sky Witch Ancient Village.
As the team leader of the Four Unlikes Team, after entering the Divine Ruins, all team members had to follow his directions.
Ying Wuwang also subtly adjusted his inner qi, finding that compared to places like Canglong Continent and Four Symbols City, the Demon Poison in his body was suppressed around the Heavenly Dark Realm.
However, even so, Ying Wuwang dared not be careless. Even within the same Heavenly Dark, there were distinctions among the experts.
The Dark Demon Army was battle-hardened; Hong Lei was an experienced Demon General. They understood the situation within the ruins better than the team members from Four Symbols City.
With Ying Wuwang at the front, the other team members followed, and the July Team members fell to the rear.

"Let’s not separate yet. We can discuss this once we have a better understanding of the village’s outline," Yue Jinghua pondered for a moment, shaking her head at the July Team members.
Everyone understood and followed behind Ying Wuwang in silence.
They hadn’t walked far before they heard footsteps.
The sound was chaotic, accompanied by the howls of beasts, and the air was filled with the unique stench of Demonic Beasts. Judging by the sound of the footsteps, there were quite a few Demonic Beasts.
"Not good, it’s Demonic Beasts, everyone get closer," Ying Wuwang’s brows knitted as he glanced at Yue Jinghua and shifted towards her direction.
