Zhiyuan pursed his lips. He extremely doted upon his daughter-in-law but at the moment, he wanted her to stand by his side.

Is it that good if somebody is good around children? I'm also a cool grandpa!

Lin said, "I have mostly baby-sitted my brother when we were young, so I'm used to it."

Zhiyuan harrumphed.

Not that cool…wait a minute, what is he doing in my house in the first place!

"Why are you here?"

Nuo cleared her throat quite pointedly as if hinting at his brash manner of asking.

Ah, that wasn't good…

He coughed. "I mean, I was just curious."

"Oh, Shui brought him here!" Nuo chirped.

Zhiyuan staggered back another step.

Sh-Shui brought him? Why?

"Oh, Dad there's a sandwich for you too!" Nuo grabbed one and offered it to him while completely ignoring the dramatic storm in his heart.

"...He came here just to deliver sandwiches?" His brow twitched.

Shui said, "Don't you remember how much Grandpa liked them? He wanted another batch so I asked him if he could come with me. Plus, we also wanted to ask about his friend..enemy? Zhong Sihan," she shrugged.

Well, that conversation could have been done on the phone too! He complained.

Nuo beamed. "Oh look, we are getting some good comments on the pictures!"

Zhiyuan stood behind her and peeked at her phone, making her roll her eyes.

Shui gasped. "You already sent it!?"

"Duh."

The first to reply was Jinhai.

'I feel something from these pictures. My grandson is quite the naughty cupid.'

Zhiyuan's expression turned ugly.

'I feel a certain father will really enjoy the pictures. Maybe even frame them?'

This bastard! He is still taking revenge for snatching away Nuo!

Nuo's brows twitched.

Dad strangely becomes so talkative at such times…

Shui took out her own phone and saw the influx of messages that left her red-faced.

'Are your noses okay?' Jun asked, 'As my nephew, his grip won't be a joke.'

'He is such an angel!' Leina and Xing Bi were squealing over his cuteness.

Jinhai added oil into the fire. 'A cupid angel.'

Zhiyuan trembled with rage and almost held an urge to throw the phone away, only to remind himself that it was Nuo's phone.

My dear daughter-in-law cannot see my violent side…

So he grabbed his own phone and typed back violently.

'Did a certain father happen to find the cupid angel who made such a beautiful couple of Nuo and Siying?'

"..."

Shui could practically see the black fumes rising from the Liu villa all the way to here. Zhiyuan sneered with the most satisfied expression on his face.

This is what you get for threatening me!

Clearly, somebody on the Liu side wanted to stop Jinhai's dark volcano from exploding so they came forward to diffuse the situation.

'What did the vicious kidnapper ask from his hostages?' Jin jumped in the chat. 'Also, is your nose really okay?'

'Lin's nose is definitely doing fine,' came Alix's response after much typing. 'Cai used to assault his nose all the time…what is with children and his nose?'

Lin's brow slightly twitched but the proof was right before him as little Muyang was still refusing to leave his nose. He stared at him.

Shui curiously read the message and thought.

Is his nose really so appealing?

She imagined a bunch of toddlers fighting to lay their hands all over his face while he sat completely still, bringing a chuckle to her lips.

She smirked and replied to Jin's last message. 'The vicious kidnapper wants you to sponsor my next shopping trip~'

Zhiyuan pursed his lips. "Shui, dear. Your father is more than capable enough to sponsor any number of your shopping trips!"

She glared. "Ssh, Dad! Don't ruin the fun."

Nuo pitifully patted his sulking shoulder.

'Hah! Is it the kidnapper's demand or the sneaky woman he abducted? The kidnapper is quite the naive one so don't you take advantage of my cute cinnamon roll!'

'Just say that you are stingy.'

'I am quite generous but I don't fall for threats!'

'You did give me the twenty million check,' Alix smoothly added. 'So yeah, threatening you is not a big deal.'

'Alix!! I..I didn't bow down to your threat…'

'So it was my beauty that made you falter? Oh my why, thank you. I always knew I had that certain charm.'

'...'

Shui laughed with their banter and shook her head.

"Okay, enough of this chat!" Zhiyuan placed his hands on his waist and squinted at Lin.

Nuo coughed with fury and thankfully, Lin said at the right time, "I will take my leave. Hope you enjoyed your meal."

He finally handed him over to Nuo with Muyang clearly cooing with disappointment.

"I enjoyed it very much!" She beamed. "You should definitely come more often and feed us~ Grandpa will be super happy!"

Zhiyuan - "..."

Nuo dear, please don't give him any more chances to come here!

Shui accompanied him outside and said, "Don't mind Dad, okay? He is always like that when it comes to any man and me sharing the same space," she coughed.

Lin paused and looked at her, confused. "Mr. Han had a problem with me?"

"..."

Shui gasped, taking a step back. "You didn't see the fumes spitting out of his head as he gave you the death glares?"

"He gave me death glares? Why? Didn't he like my sandwiches?" He blinked.

"..."

Her lips twitched and she burst into another peal of laughter. "Oh my God…Ah, thank God you didn't say this before Dad…" she trembled, laughing harder. "My house would have been overflowing with lava otherwise…Y-you are so clueless about certain things…"

She laughed some more and eventually stopped as her stomach started aching. She looked at Lin, watching her with a silent stare.

"What is it?"

He calmly withdrew his gaze and held a soft smile on his lips.

"Nothing. I just felt nice to hear Miss. Han's real laughter."

"Real..?"

He looked up at her. "You weren't really laughing when Sir Jin and Alix were bantering. I think Mr. Han felt it too so he intervened."

She stiffened. She thought it was the most natural happiness she had shown, but though Lin wasn't quite perceptive to understand Zhiyuan's annoyance toward him, he did read Shui's 'act' to laugh.

"You don't have to force a laugh, Miss. Han. You shine the most when it's real," he smiled.
