Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 551: Ibadon Arrives
Kael’s fingers hooked around the tail as he used all the strength he could muster to pull it off.
From the small gap that was created between the skin of his neck and the surface of the coiled tail, Kael had enough space to unleash as much power and aura as he could.
The atmosphere grew increasingly heavy here. Any ordinary creature that stood in the surrounding one thousand kilometres would have been crushed flat into bloody meat paste.
Even Memphis had to stay away from Kael as she could not identify the source of Kael’s sudden burst of power, nor could she fathom just how much raw power he was unleashing at this moment.
There was no fire, no water, no lightning, no flashy elemental or void techniques. All Kael was putting forth was the raw might of the Conquering Essence.
The ground crumbled, the sound of cracks mixing with his rising scream.
Conqueror Mode, Kael activated, his body expanding and shrinking unnaturally like a sickly man.
Yet, the tail still remained mostly wrapped around Kael’s neck, no matter how hard he pulled.
It made one wonder how Ma’abu had been able to carry such a dangerous item all this way without being affected.
Or perhaps it wasn’t that he wasn’t affected, just that he had measures to tone it down a bit.
Maybe he used his time powers to greatly slow down the effects of the anti-lion power on his body.
That was the most liked explanation.
Kael had no defence against this thing.
What was worse was that Kael could not maintain this power burst forever. His will was strong and mighty, but his body was still limited.
As the explosions reverberated from a distance, Kael was aware that Ma’abu and his allies were probably receiving the beatings of their lives.
Even now, he didn’t want them to die yet. It would not be fair to him if they took away his right to make Ma’abu suffer by giving him a quick death.
Thankfully, Katari was among them and Kael trusted that she would do the needful.
Memphis could only stay close to Kael and watch with her breath held in her chest. She was amazed because Kael was doing something that no one else could.
Such close contact with the power of an anti-lion should have eventually drained the individual of all powers, weakening them until they couldn’t even muster the strength to take one last breath.
Memphis was sure that she would be suffering seriously if she were put in Kael’s shoes. She might be able to prolong the inevitable, but she wouldn’t be able to make an attempt to remove the rail the way Kael was doing.
Just then, Memphis looked up to the sky, her green eyes turning as sharp as swords.
Between the horizon and the approaching fast, a cloud of winged creatures streaked the sky with righteous killing intent.
Running on the vast snowy plains below them was a large horse with cereal black skin, vibrant ten manes, and veiny red lines adorning its muscles.
Every step he took, followed by a gallop, caused the snow to melt. Corruptive and chaotic demonic energy spewed from his nostrils and hooves.
The demon had no fear, all he felt was excitement. This was where he thrived, in chaos and uncertainty, where the line between his life and death was blurred.
*NEIGH!!!*
The demonic horse burst forward with speed upon seeing the golden fountain of Conquering Essence spilling out from Kael’s.
Memphis’s eyes widened, this just went from extremely bad to an unthinkable nightmare.
"Humph!" Imperial Guard Voldemort snorted, releasing a hot greasy smoke from his scaled nostrils.
"The Primordial Lion is indeed here, NEST CALL!" He ordered.
He wasn’t rash and decided to follow Ibadon’s instructions thoroughly.
All the dragons, nearly one thousand, arched their scaled horse-like necks and raised their heads to the stormy sky.
They let out shrill cries that shook heaven and earth. For a brief second, because the world had lost its power source by this time, their combined roars were actually able to part the stormy sky.
It wasn’t enough to glimpse at the starry sky, but it was enough to know that the world was changing.
Either way, the nest call was successful and it did what it was designed to do.
The dragons had descended into the world with up to a hundred thousand dragons, the nest call resounded in the ears of everyone irrespective of where they were at the moment.
All around the planet, massive dragons began making their way to the place where Imperial Guard Voldemort and his group unit were waiting.
Also, a black caped figure flew through the sky like a black stream of light. Within a few seconds, this black figure had already flown around the planet and arrived above the scene.
Memphis watched all this with her breath held. That nest call was terrifying, considering that the number of dragons here on this planet was currently much more than the lions.
"Hmm,"
Everything slowed down in her vision as she felt a killing intent that could not be described with words.
This killing intent was thick and she even felt like she could hold it.
Milliseconds turned to minutes for Memphis, the flow of time compressing around her.
She was quickly able to guess what was happening.
"Oh no, it’s Ibadon," She muttered, staring down at Kael’s nearly frozen body, "Ibadon is the one who set the trap.
And he’s here,"
What could be done? She didn’t have the power to fight Ibadon.
Unless...
Just at that moment, Kael’s glowing eyes locked on Memphis’s floating figure.
No words were said within that short amount of time, but they both came to an agreement. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Conqueror Mode Avatar.
Memphis’ green eyes undertook a golden hue.
However, just before anything could happen...
"Those filthy dragons are ahead!"
"If we don’t peel their scales one by one and feed it to them, they will grow more blatant and audacious!"
"The Primordial is also there!"
"THAT’S MEMPHIS!"
The roars of multiple tier 7 lion kings resounded from the sky and echoed into the ears of the listeners.
A thousand tier 7 lion kings had suddenly shown up from the north.
They were all lions, they had all felt the pulse wave and witnessed the fountain of Conquering Essence rising to the sky.
Naturally, they were curious and decided to come.
Each of these kings was at least seven thousand years old and had years of experience in their pockets.
Many of them were on good terms with Memphis too.
As they approached, the pressure of their collective auras crushed the ground, speeding up the destruction of the planet.
Continents rose and fell around them. The stormy clouds were forcefully pierced through by their aura which took the form of an invisible spear.
The starry voice was revealed, and all the arkships shone with the reflected light of the sky.
The golden glow from Kael could barely be seen from outer space, making the few viewers curious about what was happening down there.
The arrival of one thousand plus tier 7 lion kings instantly offset the aura from the dragons and caused them to shut their mouths instantly.
The demonic horse stomped his hooves on the snowy ground and slid to a halt. He stared at the sky where all the kings hovered beneath the clouds like angry gods of war and destruction.
The demonic horse was quickly realizing that he may be caught up in a storm that he could have easily avoided if he had wanted to.
But he didn’t falter. This was what he wanted.
The fear flowing from his heart made him feel so alive.
He set his eyes on Kael’s kneeling figure and rushed straight toward him.
"PRIMORDIAL LION!" Ibadon’s calm and booming voice struck the hearts of everyone.
Like a black star, he arrived above, staring down at everything with his casually indifferent red eyes.
Memphis looked up at Ibadon, her golden eyes filled with rage that did not belong to her.
"IBADON!"
Memphis spoke, her voice layered with the spiritual voice of the All-King. The vast Conquering Essence reserves from the system were being consumed rapidly to maintain this Conquering Mode Avatar.
The tier 7 lion kings stared at Memphis in shock, because Memphis now had a dreadful aura.
Was this the benefit of joining the Primordial Lion’s side?
Ibadon folded his arms, he glanced at Memphis, and the golden-green and dull red eyes clashed.
Ibadon could feel the suppression from the Battle Planet weakening. He could also feel Memphis’s aura rising.
Immortal tier.
Ibadon was not unmoved.
At this time, the Primordial Lion was finally within his grasp and he could take one more step to complete his revenge.
But a thought popped into his head that no one was thinking of at this moment.
Where was the gauntlet?
The world rumbled as entities drilled through the crusts of the planet, getting Ibadon’s attention.
*BAM!*
Another round of land destruction took place as Exalon and the other lion kings smashed their way out of the ground.
