Chapter 597: Chapter 597: I Killed The Primordial Lion!

Empress Elizabeth’s eyes turned blank for a brief moment as a look of fright appeared on her face.

Her eyes, which were previously just a deep purple, now had another layer of gold overlapping with it.

"What?" Elizabeth asked herself as she could feel the Conquering Essence dripping into her mind and body.

Elizabeth had not held up any defenses before this, her body was fully open. The point of connection Kael used to drive the Conquering Essence to meet Elizabeth was linked directly to her mind.

How could she have possibly defended such an unexpected thing? Never did she imagine that Kael would use that point of connection to exploit her weakness.

As the Conquering Essence invaded every corner of Elizabeth’s body, she staggered forward.

"Empress," The flaming dragons standing guard at the entrance of the throne hall panicked.

They rushed toward her, dousing the flames in their body and transforming into their humanoid forms.

"I’m fine," Elizabeth hissed and waved her hand backward. An invisible wave burst forth from her and pushed the guards away.

She was tier 7 and the guards were just at the peak of tier 5, they could not even resist at all.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth lowered her head, purple steam coming out of her mouth. She smiled, chuckled, and followed with a boisterous yet elegant laughter.

"Primordial Lion, do you think it’s that easy?" She asked as the golden hue in her eyes was ruthlessly crushed away.

She resumed her noble state instantly.

"You caught me by surprise there, hehehehe," Elizabeth then turned serious, "But you seem to overestimate me too much."

To Elizabeth, so what if Kael had managed to connect to her through her remote control of the traitor?

It didn’t change anything.

At least, Elizabeth was able to glean some truths in this hole Kael had poked in her mind.

Kael was still tier 6.

Although his strength for a tier 6 was alarming, as a Primordial, Elizabeth didn’t mind.

There were significant differences between the might of a Primordial and an ordinary creature.

Elizabeth herself was not weak. She was a tier 7 Primordial Dragon of Destruction with more or less a thousand years of experience under her belt.

"You will be annihilated, I have declared it," Elizabeth thundered. Her beautiful voice rang for countless kilometers on the crystal continent.

Destruction Essence rose in her mind and rushed to the point of connection that the All-King was using to attack her from another heaven.

This time, since Kael had unintentionally ended up keeping the point of connection stable, she was able to throw in a larger amount.

Kael stood no chance.

Leonine Heaven.

As expected, Kael had managed to invade Elizabeth’s mind with Conquering Essence, but the retaliation was fiercer.

The expanding dome of purple destruction energy doubled and tripled within seconds.

The center of the explosion, Kael, was just a few meters away from it. He was stripped naked, his skin burned and his mind faltered.

Although he tried to resist, Elizabeth was clearly stronger than him. He would need to employ his other abilities and techniques to close the gap to a better power level.

Unfortunately, Kael did not have that luxury here.

The Destruction Essence peeled his skin, ripped the muscles off his bones, and chipped his bones little by little.

For a very small glint of a second, all that was left of Kael was his golden skeleton and some brain matter.

But even that was wiped away by the Destruction Essence.

The All-King was gone, destroyed, and erased from the universe.

The purple dome stopped expanding, the Primordial Supporters gathered their powers and arkships and pierced into it, panicking as they looked for Kael.

Soon, the purple hue faded away and all that was left was...nothing.

The continent had been eaten through by the destruction essence, leaving a wider hole that now comprised one-fifth of the floating continent.

The lion kings and arkships of the Primordial Supporters faction hovered in silence, looking around in shock and fear.

How could one single detonation from a traitor cause such a thing? Everything had happened very fast and it was so unexpected.

At first, the explosion was contained and it was normal that the All-King would have survived that one.

Then, it just went out of control and erased everything in its path.

This was the power of Destruction Essence.

But, where was Kael?

Where was the All-King?

Had he been erased along with everything else?

The lion kings found it hard to believe such a thing.

They had a good reason too.

At the edge of the continental hole, Katari teleported, blending into existence with Zabita and Olivia by her side.

Zabita looked at the titanic hole with shock oozing from her eyes. Olivia was flabbergasted.

Katari looked at this with uncertainty again first before gradually calming down.

She should have known, Kael would never be so reckless, he wasn’t like Zabita.

Thinking of this, Katari turned her head to look at Zabita who was still trance by the hole.

Katari wondered what kind of lesson she would have to give Zabita to let her know the error of her ways.

*Sigh!*

Katari sighed, removing her gaze from Zabita who was oblivious to the insane punishment Katari had in mind for her.

Zabita and Olivia were captivated by the destructive capabilities of that explosion and they had yet to register the fact that Kael was missing. They had never even seen him chase after Elijah in the first place as they were being protected by Katari.

And just like the lion kings, they had a good reason too.

That food reason was that the lion system was still active and running normally.

If Kael were truly dead, the lion system would have shut down and three million lion kings and their clans would have been thrown into chaos.

But if Kael had been annihilated by the explosion, how was he still alive?

Only Katari knew which was why she was able to relax.

Didn’t Kael just recently gain a cloning-like ability from that Primordial Rat of Freedom?

"Hahahahahahahaha! Hahahahahahahahaha!"

Empress Elizabeth raised her hands to the sky and laughed like a mad woman.

"I did it," She declared, confusing the guards who were watching over her.

"I killed the Primordial Lion!"
