Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 596: Point Of Destruction
"Finally..." Empress Elizabeth said as she opened her eyes fully like she were waking up from a long dream.
She pressed her right hand on the armrest of the humongous crystal throne and stood up to her feet.
Her glowing purple eyes scanned the dark room ominously. She opened her mouth and her voice came out ethereal, like the command of a goddess.
"Quick, summon the Regent, the Primordial had fallen into my grasp!" She said.
The sound of wings flapping and beating against the air was heard, a couple of dragon guards rushed out from the throne hall.
Empress Elizabeth stood at her full height of several inches above six feet. The two horns that curled up to the ceiling on her head slowed with faint purple veins.
She took careful and elegant steps, walking toward the entrance of the throne hall. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"The Primordial Lion has gotten too close for his own comfort," She muttered, her voice echoing with the spirit of resentment and anger.
"He shall die, for us, finally..." She whispered to herself.
The Dragon Empress made her way to the throne hall and stood beyond the gates with her arms stretched wide. The heavenly wind blew her gown, exposing one of her long dainty legs.
She raised her head to the heavenly sky and smiled, the glimmer of purple escaping the edges of her sharp teeth.
Destruction Essence started to gather around her fingers and waist in the form of tiny streams of purple dots.
"Ibadon will thank me!" Elizabeth declared with a mad and loving smile before she let out a soft deranged chuckle.
////
Leonine Heaven.
The continent that had been harbouring the Primordial Peacock was fraught with booms and bangs.
The bodies of lion kings smashed into the ground or I to the sides of the Pyramids. The force of their impact was so great that almost every pyramid that they crashed into would be utterly destroyed with nothing to recover from it.
They turned into streaks of light, exchanging hundreds of blows within seconds.
At the same time, the arkships above had wanted to interfere but all of a sudden, thousands of warp gates began to open around the edges of the continent with large arkships streaming out of them.
To think Kael would come to this place without sufficient preparation was a mistake.
Kael didn’t even need to do anything, he just needed to feel distressed.
Currently, Kael had pinned Elijah down to the ground and was ruthlessly tearing off one of the flaming wings from his back.
However, there was a constant influx of Destruction Essence as Elijah tried to fight back. His eyes had fully turned purple as though he was possessed.
The weight of the Destruction Essence now flowing out of Elijah was enough to cause Kael to frown, and this was the cause of his distress.
Thousands of lion kings had reacted almost immediately and locked onto this location before rushing here. These thousands were the ones closest to this place.
One could only imagine their reaction when they came and saw the commotion.
The sound of explosions reached the ears of everyone, the traitors were exploding like living bombs.
The destruction Essence in their bodies was volatile and definitely not suited for the lion’s bodies.
These explosions were not intentional though. These Lion kings would very much like to continue living and thriving. But they were turned into remote bombs by the person who had put them in this situation in the first place.
Each explosion was no less than the detonation of an atomic bomb, probably much more in fact.
A couple of Primordial Supporters were enveloped by the explosion and died instantly.
Only those who reacted fast enough and were able to move out of the way survived.
The floating continent that had once been a paradise for those looking to be beautiful was not turned upside down.
Kael ripped Elijah’s wings off his back.
"Aagh! All-King, this isn’t right, the Dragon Empress is responsible for all this!..."
Elijah screamed at the top of his lungs, flames and bladed winds rushing around him in a cyclone formation.
"But you accepted," Kael said coldly. He reached down and grabbed the upper jaw of the chimera with one hand while using his other hand to hold the lower jaw.
He heaved the massive chimera up, looking quite small at first. Kael’s muscles swelled and the golden light in his eyes intensified.
He pulled viciously, separating the jaws from each other. Kael’s fingers held the sharp teeth well, ignoring the slight prickly pain he felt from the sharpness of the fangs.
There was a sickening crunching sound starting to surface followed by the sound flash being torn.
Elijah’s body shook aggressively, and he tried to scratch at Kael with his burning hot claws.
But Kael hugged his large neck from behind, crushing it in the process as he still sought to tear this sinner apart.
Suddenly, Elijah’s body started spasming. The purple glow in his eyes started getting brighter and a look of madness appeared on his face.
"Primordial Lion!" Elijah roared. There was something different about the way he addressed Kael. It was different from before and carried a strange intonation that made it clear that it was not Elijah who was talking but another person talking through him.
Now, Elijah’s fur burned fiercely, mixing with the purple Destruction Essence. His body was imploding on itself and it would soon explode.
"Empress Elizabeth," Kael said knowingly.
"Hehehehe," Elijah laughed, "And I was just thinking how long it would take you to find one of my pawns.
You caused a lot of distress to my dearest, it’s only right that you die for that."
There was no timer, no build-up to a climax, nothing.
Elijah just exploded.
This explosion was very different from the ones that were occurring in other parts of the continent.
This one was more violent, more aggressive, more destructive, and significantly more powerful than the others.
From every direction, all the lions and lion kings could see the expanding sphere of purple destruction.
Kael was still there.
The All-King had received the full might of this explosion directly to his face.
One could have even said that the All-King was a bit careless. After all, almost everyone knew that the traitors working with the dragons were very likely to explode when they were confronted.
The All-King should have known this before he rushed after Elijah without any protection.
Then why did he do it?
He had fallen right into the waiting arms of Elizabeth.
"Actually," Kael’s deep voice echoed out amidst the rumbling, "It’s the other way around."
A golden figure floated effortlessly within the expanding sphere of purple destruction essence.
The destruction essence washed against Kael’s body, destroying his clothes but leaving his skin unscathed.
It wasn’t as if Kael wasn’t receiving damage, his body was just healing faster than the destruction essence could harm him.
Another thing was also happening.
Kael’s golden eyes had locked onto a particular point in space that was warped by spirit energy, spatial distortion, and many other powers.
This particular warped point in space was the same place that Elijah had been before his body was pulverized by the destruction essence upon destruction.
This was also the very same point that Empress Elizabeth had used to connect to this place.
The very center of the explosion, the only link Kael would have to Empress Elizabeth in a long time.
This was an opportunity he had been waiting for for many months.
After noticing the pattern of suicide explosions, Kael had realized that Empress Elizabeth probably knew of the exact states of her pawn and was somehow connected to them for her to be able to control their deaths remotely.
And for her to be connected to them, there needed to be a link of some sort established between the Empress and the traitors.
It was similar to how Kael was able to use the Conquering Essence Avatar to connect himself to other lions linked to his lion system.
There was a point of connection between him and those lions, and it was the same for Elizabeth and the traitors.
This point of connection, Kael was sure if he was able to lock on to it, he would be able to exploit it.
He had been waiting many months for this opportunity.
If not for this, Kael wouldn’t have even bothered attacking Gauss or Elijah in the first place, the Primordial Supporters would have done it for him.
But Kael needed that point of connection.
And so his revenge began.
Now that Elijah was dead, that point of connection was rapidly fading away and would be gone within two or three seconds.
Kael acted fast, drawing an unholy amount of Conquering Essence from the reserves of the lion system.
Streams of golden colored Conquering Essence flowed around Kael’s arms as he pushed his hand toward that fading point of connection.

Draconic Heaven.
Empress Elizabeth was looking at the sky with a victorious smile on her face.
Then all of a sudden, her smile disappeared and a deeply troubled look flashed on her face.
A golden glint shone in her purple eyes.
