Chapter 599: Chapter 599: Two Kaels

Leonine Heaven.

The Massive Black Pyramid.

Kael donned a clear white suit and stood at the edge of the open wall. His golden gaze lingered on the convoy of arkships that had just arrived in the vicinity and were parking themselves around the black pyramid.

The memories from the battle that had happened not long ago played continuously in his mind.

Indeed, there was no way Kael could be so careless.

Kael continued looking out through the open wall. The arkships that just came had some hatches open. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Soon after, a few lion kings escorted Katari, Zabita, and Olivia out of the arkships and into the Massive Black Pyramid.

"Amazing," Memphis’s voice came from behind.

"I know," another voice answered. It was Kael’s voice, but it wasn’t coming from Kael who was looking through the open wall. The voice came from another Kael.

This open wall led into a luxurious meeting room. Inside the meeting room, Memphis and Ozia were present along with another person.

This person also wore a white suit and was tall just like Kael. Had golden eyes, blonde hair, and a dominating presence.

This was Kael.

The same Kael who had also died not long ago after that explosion.

"But how?" Ozia asked as he shook his head, looking at the Kael standing at the open wall and the Kael standing in front of them.

Both were very identical, as though they were twins.

"Freedom," The two Kael’s answered at the same time.

Then, in a flash of golden light, the Kael standing in front of the open wall dissolved into moats of golden light which flowed and sank into the last Kael.

The open wall closed, causing the meeting room to become slightly darker than before.

The last Kael, now the singular Kael existing in all the universe, looked at his first son.

Ozia had grown well in these past months. His muscles had recovered a lot and he was now a little buff.

The arrogance in his eyes was now very evident, even as he stood before his father. He did not hide it.

Kael’s gaze traveled down to Ozia’s left arm where a black, glassy, metallic arm was present.

The Gauntlet.

From the looks of it, Ozia had gotten used to his new arm. His aura told Kael that he was tier 5 now, that was a really rapid growth in strength compared to a few months ago.

Kael didn’t think much of it though. Even though he wasn’t the one using the Gauntlet, he was satisfied with it being within his control.

Ozia was his son and also linked to the Lion System, there was nothing Kael could fear with the Gauntlet in his possession.

It was a shame that the Gauntlet had to sacrifice his arm permanently just for it to be used.

Kael saw this sacrifice as symbolic, representing the lengths others were willing to go to have power.

Kael himself had already sacrificed his humanity long ago and now he was sacrificing something deeper than that to reach the peak.

"I called you here for a reason," Kael said to Ozia as he walked away to find a pillow sofa to sit down on.

"Oh," Ozia frowned. He had been getting some lessons from Memphis on how to control his time powers when Kael summoned him through a chat.

For some reason, Memphis insisted on following him to see his father, something that he couldn’t quite understand.

So they found themselves here, only to see two identical Kael’s waiting for them.

"Is there any problem?" Ozia asked.

"Yes," Kael nodded as he relaxed on the pillow throne.

"Your mother..." Kael was saying then paused as he received a message from someone.

It was an urgent message.

However, the words Kael had said before being interrupted by the message had caused Ozia to flinch.

His mother?

N’bayé?

Memphis noticed the strange way her student had behaved after hearing what Kael said.

She was able to put some things together.

Meanwhile, Kael was looking at the chat.

He had received a chat from two different parties.

One was a lion lord in his clan who said something about the spiders having some strange phenomenon occurring to them.

The second chat was from Marcus.

Although the creatures linked to the lower systems could not chat with the lions of the lion system, they could chat directly with Kael.

Kael was the basis of the link so he could work around that loophole to create a special chat feature between him and the Primordials who were also the anchors for their systems.

////

Marcus: Your Majesty, something is happening to Natalia and the spiders.

She’s changing...

////

Kael read the two chats closely. There was not much explanation in it. But that last phrase from Marcus, she’s changing, it caught his attention.

Kael knew that Natalia had been attempting something that was thought to be almost impossible. Kael never paid too much attention to it as there was a high possibility that she would fail.

But Kael also couldn’t be so sure. After all, he himself wasn’t actually born a Primordial.

He had lived his first few moments in this new life as an ordinary lion cub before the Highest Will visited him and told him about the inheritance he would be receiving.

It was kind of like the difference between an ordinary lion cub that had been born on Eridoria and a lion cub that had been born in heaven.

Because of the disparity in resources, most cubs born on Eridoria had not even reached tier 2.

Meanwhile, those born in heaven developed tier 2 it tier 3 power levels from the womb.

Anyways, Kael knew that there was a slim chance that what Natalia was doing would not work and be a fruitless endeavor.

She would have to meditate and comprehend the Law of Connection thoroughly in such a way that the Law itself would notice her and give her a chance to be a Primordial.

Kael would value the Primordial of Connection if it came his way.

Could she have succeeded? Kael wondered. If she had done so, then all the advantages and trump cards that Kael had been gathering to strike his enemies would receive a significant boost.

This would be one of the keys to creating a cosmic-wide empire or a Super Kingdom.

Just as Kael was thinking of what to do, someone walked into the meeting room. Tall and bald with runic markings on her head and different parts of her exposed skin.

Ozia and N’bayé locked eyes.
