Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 625: Confusion
Hundreds of thousands of eyes were focused on the arena stage where a flash of gold had caused a deafening silence.
What had happened?
They had just blinked for a moment and they couldn’t even recognize what was happening any longer.
At the center of the stage, Alora staggered out of the dust storm, shock coloring her face.
She too did not even understand what had just happened.
Just like that, Coe seemed to have turned into a mad beast, letting out all the frustration inside her.
A wave of frost energy swept out, parting the torrent of sharp golden wind and preventing it from touching Alora.
Meanwhile, to the side, Chloe was standing with her head raised high gritting her exposed fangs at the sky.
She took in very heavy breaths, drawing in and out which created more cyclones of golden wind that circled around her form.
Chloe was standing on someone.
She was standing on D’Dei who was facing the ground with his back facing Chloe.
His head was lodged into the earth, and Chloe’s foot was placed firmly on the back of his head in a humiliating manner.
Currently, besides the golden wind that constantly circled around her, the air had gone very still.
Nothing moved, the aura was that of a cruel and oppressive tyrant.
Alora looked at Chloe, the shock leaving her face.
"Chloe?" She asked. Her eyes trailed down to see the body of the unconscious Primordial Bear plastered into the earth.
This had occurred without warning.
Everyone was expecting a long drawn-out battle with the Primordial Bear eventually winning.
They didn’t expect it to end so fast and so easily.
Many had not even seen how Chloe had beaten the Primordial Bear to an unconscious state.
All they had seen was a blur. All they had heard was the sound of air splitting. The result was what they were all seeing.
"What the fuck!" The dark red falcon cursed, spreading his wings and flapping hard.
The sonic barrier was breached, and the speed of light was surpassed. A loud boom was heard as reality collapsed on itself around the wings of this dark red falcon.
"Your intent has been noticed," Chloe said, her voice overlapping with the deep authoritative tone of the All-King.
She took a step forward, her body rapidly changing into the form of a black-furred lioness.
*Clang!*
*BOOM!*
The whole arena stage was destroyed as the Primordial Falcon and Chloe clashed mid-air.
Chloe’s two front paws were pressed against the cold black talons of the Primordial Falcon.
The wings of the Primordial Falcon were seen clearly. These wings were large and monstrous.
When folded, they were not that impressive-looking, but when unfolded, reality began to twist.
"There is no need to prove anything, all I want is the job to get done when it needs to be!" Chloe, or the All-King who was talking through her, said.
*BOOM!*
Another explosion, and the battle was taken to the sky. Instantly, the two of them pierced through more than a dozen shuttles including Alora and Chloe’s shuttle.
Alora was breathing heavily. The appearance of that Primordial Falcon had caused her body to vibrate unnaturally.
It was a really uncomfortable thing.
However, the words spoken by Chloe had led Alora to understand a little bit of what had happened.
If no one told Alora, she would believe that the All-King had been keeping an eye on them ever since they came here.
And that was the truth.
The All-King cared very little about the glory and honor gained from defeating the Primordial Bear in combat, he couldn’t care less.
As far as he was concerned, that Alora and Chloe were in this place was a great opportunity for the entire Bear and Falcon civilization to be annexed.
It had to be known that this particular coalition of falcons and bears was the largest of its kind in the entire known universe.
It was said that the coalition civilization had an estimated joint population of five hundred billion, if they were to include those weaker bears and falcons who made up the majority of such population.
If Alora and Chloe had come here and the only thing they had done was prove to Kael that they were not liabilities, it would be a waste.
Besides, Kael had seen the effort Chloe had been about to make after he possessed her body.
There was no need to prove anything else again, he had come to the same conclusion that Alora had a few moments ago and knew how to jolt Chloe back to her old self.
Alora looked around, seeing all the powerful bears and falcons in the stands focusing their gazes and killing intent on her.
This was bad.
As if to make it worse, she felt a rising aura from the highest stand in the arena.
She looked over and saw a tall black horse with glowing red veins all over its body stepping out of a luxury stall.
His blood red mane flowed beautifully in the blowing wind amidst the booms and bangs coming from the sky. He looked both majestic and cruel at the same time.
He also looked very dangerous.
Tier 6. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
That was the aura being emitted from this mysterious horse.
Alora’s expression darkened. There was a horse here.
She had expected to find horses here normally. After all, the intelligence they had gotten was that the horse federation was trying to turn the bears and falcons into a puppet economy.
But Alora did not lose confidence when she saw all the enemies looking at her.
Sure, the matter had escalated beyond repair from the moment Kael possessed Chloe and made short work of the Primordial Bear.
But it didn’t really change much, just accelerated what was to eventually come.
Subjugation.
Alora might be fearless, but she wasn’t reckless.
Suddenly, the sound of something tearing through the atmosphere from above echoing everyone’s ears.
They looked up, surprised to see a peculiar-looking missile coming down from the clouds.
This missile looked to be very advanced and had a small glowing top that was very attractive.
Alora smirked, feeling the golden rush of Conquering Essence starting to fill her whole body.
At the same time, the spark of a Heavenly Gate began to form behind her.

"Your Majesty, how may we be of service?" Marcus asked out loud as he walked toward Kael and went to his knees.
Beside him, Ralph, Ivana, and the Primordial Buffalo were also present.
Ivana looked up at Kael, still shocked from the death of Vixy. She had not yet recovered herself at all despite all attempts to jolt her back to normal.
It couldn’t be helped, she had literally watched the very person who had been raising her up from birth get burned to ashes because of her.
No matter how old she became, this event would leave a permanent scar on her mind.
Still, there were other important things to do than to babysit this Primordial Fox.
"Hmm," Kael nodded, but there was no smile of satisfaction.
"Wolves," Kael said, turning his attention to Ralph from the top of his pillow throne.
"Yes, your Majesty," Ralph responded, bowing his head lower and lower.
"How do you see the new missions?" The All-King asked.
Ralph smiled, "The wolves are very pleased, Your Majesty."
By wolves, Ralph was referring to all the wolves under the lion civilization which were quite a lot.
The chat forums on the Wolf systems had blown up after the integration of The Web. Pack leaders talked endlessly about the new missions they were receiving because of the connection between all the systems.
Before the wolves could only give themselves missions which was not a good thing.
They weren’t like the lions who could give each other missions and still earn Conquering points because of Conquering Activities.
The Wolf System, by nature of the law it was linked to, required the wolves to personally participate in the hunt for them to be rewarded with Hunting Points.
So if only wolves could give out hunting missions, it would be redundant.
But with the integration of The Web and the connection of all systems together, not only could the wolves start receiving hunting missions from other creatures with systems, but they could also start sending out missions to the other creatures.
Within just one day after The Web had been integrated, millions of missions had been issued out and exchanged between systems.
Ralph had not accepted any missions, naturally, but many of his deputy leaders were already preparing for long journeys as they had all accepted exciting hunting missions that would take them across galaxies as they searched for their prey.
Everyone was satisfied...for now.
One thing that had been made very clear was that no lesser creatures, as they had been labeled, could pose a mission to the lions.
The idea itself was preposterous.
How could subjects tell their kings what to do?
The lions had the privilege of being able to give out missions to all systems, both private missions and public requests.
But none was allowed to ask a lion to help conquer one place or the other.
There was balance, with the lions remaining firmly at the top. This is something Derylia the Seventh Primordial Lioness would have achieved had she not been stupid.
"It is to our satisfaction, Your Majesty, but I was wondering if you had a personal hunting mission for me?"
Ralph asked, hoping Kael would say yes.
Kael nodded, "Yes, I do in fact have a mission for you.
A very dangerous one..."
