Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 627: Endless Exploration
It has been one year, and as promised, N’bayé was allowed to study the gauntlet from a close distance with Ozia.
This arrangement wasn’t the best, but it was what they could settle for.
Ozia had expected that he would have to constantly watch his mother invade his personal space in her pursuit of knowledge but that wasn’t the case.
N’bayé knew that one year wasn’t enough so she had met Memphis to help her out.
Now, because of the specific details of Kael’s order, she couldn’t ask Ozia to enter a time bubble with her so that she could have more time to study the gauntlet.
But she could alter her own time.
N’bayé, with Memphis help, was enveloped in a time membrane, a more personalized version of a time bubble.
This allowed Memphis to operate at a speed much higher than reality. The reason Ozia couldn’t see her much was that she came and went very fast, and she was also quiet.
But she also didn’t allow Ozia to do anything much, delaying the much-needed progress that Ozia needed.
After one year, N’bayé had gathered all the data she needed, but at what cost?
N’bayé had been operating at a speed ten times faster than average. She was fast, yes, but so was her lifespan.
Within one year, she had gotten ten years older, for the sake of knowledge.
But this didn’t faze N’bayé.
She was still a tier 5 entity with close to a thousand years of life left in her. Ten years gone was not really noticeable.
She had gotten the data she wanted and was already heading for the mortalverse to visit the monkeys who had also been steadily developing recently.
N’bayé shared the same hope with Kael that a Primordial Monkey would appear at some point.
But besides that, more progress had been made in other areas of Kael’s circle.
The Primordial Falcon and the Primordial Bear have been brought into the fold of the League of Primordials.
Albeit forcefully, it was still progress.
Alora and Chloe had been rewarded with the ranking positions.
Their contribution to catching two Primordials at once placed them firmly at the top of the rankings such that they would probably not have to worry about any lioness trying to take their position for a long time.
The events of that particular day had not been as glorious as Alora had hoped, but it was significant.
Kael’s sudden intervention that day had led to the forceful subjugation of the whole Bears and Falcon Coalition.
It was only later that she got a much clearer view of what Kael had done that day. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
Kael had been fighting a battle on multiple fronts and won in all aspects.
Not only had he gained two very valuable Primordials, but he had also gained a massive number of vassals.
Plus, all the horse operatives that had been hiding in the bear and falcon coalition were wiped out within the week.
There was no point of retaliation, hordes of kings and princes had descended from heaven that day to do the clean up themselves and secure the Vassal status of the bears and falcons.
The small army of horses that were sent as emergency reinforcement later that week could only watch with anger as the lions took down and disassembled their puppet civilization planet by planet.
If they had known, they would have never allowed those two lionesses get so close.
The details of the battle were unknown, but some had spoken of a particular strange missile that had detonated and taken away the powers of all those nearby in the arena.
Even the Demonic Horse Governor who had been supervising the Horse Operatives that day was killed.
Just like that, with a moment of decisiveness, the All-King and the lions had once again suppressed the horses.
The horses could do nothing but return to their federation.
Although their lack of retaliation was a serious cause for concern as it probably meant that they were planning something nasty, the All-King didn’t seem to be bothered.
Even if he was, who would know?
The lions outclassed the horses in terms of territory and resources.
But while all that had happened, the inner circles of the All-King’s family had made some slight adjustments on behalf of Chloe.
After that battle that day, Chloe had been ’let go’ to leave heaven.
She wasn’t cast out of the pride or anything. In fact, she was still Kael’s consort, but for the sake of removing her from her comfort zone, she had to be ’free’.
Chloe was the kind of person who enjoyed moving from one place to another. Staying rooted in one place just because she was now the consort of the All-King was telling on her as it drained her of all motivation to make any progress in her personal life.
With nowhere to go and no new thing to look forward to, Chloe’s fire of ambition had been doused heavily without her even knowing.
Even though she had thought that she was just becoming lazy and timid, she never knew that all she needed was a change of environment.
Fortunately, the universe was very vast, no one could claim to have explored every nook and cranny of this cosmos.
If Chloe wished to go out to explore and use it as an opportunity to sharpen herself, she could do that. In fact, her life would just become more exciting as she exposed herself to new things every time.
A single galaxy could have billions of star systems with different planets in each star system.
Even if she wanted to use one second to visit each planet within one galaxy, it would still take her hundreds of thousands of years to complete such a feat.
Of course, doing such a thing was not possible without some ungodly level of power over the law of space and time.
Added to the fact that different sections of the universe were constantly changing over cycles of billions of years.
Chloe could start from point A today and travel five hundred billion light-years away before coming back to point A again.
If she stayed true to her goal of exploration, it would take her countless years to make that journey.
By the time she comes back to point A, it wouldn’t be the same point A she had started from in the beginning.
The point was, if Chloe was allowed to go on this adventure across the universe, it would be a never-ending travel filled with excitement and the discovery of new things.
But...
Unfortunately, the beautiful universe was just too dangerous. Beauty and danger often came together.
For Chloe’s never-ending adventure to be possible, she would need safeguards. Firstly, she couldn’t be allowed to travel alone, lions were social creatures too so a solo adventure was not right.
And Chloe would have to be given a Heavenly Beacon that would allow her to easily escape or call for help if she were ever in danger.
This obviously led to some talks as Chloe would be the second of Kael’s consorts who would be having a Heavenly Beacon and not actually be a lion Queen.
Wasn’t Alora supposed to give up her own heavenly beacon? Now Chloe was getting her own beacon.
Anyways, who could complain about such a thing?
Chloe was allowed to set up a small group of travelers with about ten thousand members to follow her in this exploration adventure.
It was set in stone, Chloe was excited. It had been a long time since someone last saw the genuine smile that beamed from Chloe’s face these days.
With the heavenly beacon, she would never be too far from Kael. With just a command, she could pause her adventures and come back to Leonine Heaven.

Besides the coming conclusion of the Great Purification in Leonine Heaven, the movements of the other factions of the universe have been coming under scrutiny.
The Creation Dragons had suddenly created their advances, allowing the Destruction Dragons space to breathe and focus on other things.
This would normally spell bad news for the lions but it was actually bad news for the Destruction Dragons.
This was because the Creation Dragons had started being open about their desire to ally with the lions.
It wasn’t strange news anymore. The Primordial Creation Dragon himself has spoken in his last public appearance about his upcoming visit to the Leonine Heaven.
This was the first time any faction was seeking to be an ally of the Lions. It just showed how desperate the Creation Dragons were for an advantage over their cousins.
Everyone knows that the lions never truly saw anyone as their equals, so they could never truly see anyone as their allies. Yet, the Dragon Emperor still sought an audience with the All-King, both openly and in secret.
There was no official public response from the All-King that would let the spectators know what was happening.
But it allowed them to know that the lines were being drawn now. Common enemies were creating common allies.
And so, one day, the All-King finally responded.
