Chapter 634: Chapter 634: Motive Of The All-King

The metal plates that made up the wall of the mini Pyramid den began to shift out of the way, allowing the long corridor within to be seen.

This pyramid was not as big as the other pyramids that lions would usually build for themselves.

This one was only about a hundred meters tall and would be considered very small for most lions.

There were multiple of these types of these mini Pyramids around and it looked like they had been made from the weakest materials that could be found.

The hums of construction shuttles echoed in the distance, the sound of heavy materials rising and falling causing the air to vibrate.

As the metal plates shifted completely, Kael’s form was revealed.

A black button-up shirt with clear white ironed out trousers, and two black shoes to complement. Kael looked very smart at the moment, with his blond hair sleeked back and his golden eyes shimmering with suppressed might.

As he stepped out of the interior of the pyramid, a powerful aura swelled up from his body and poured out into the surroundings.

Small pebbles rose a few inches into the air, suspended by the overflowing tangible might from the All-King.

Whereas Kael had maintained an indifferent but slightly playful look when he was inside the pyramid just now with Chloe and Alora.

He had changed now, wearing a very serious expression on his face.

Kael’s gaze settled on the distant horizon, he could make out very tiny dots moving very fast.

With his enhanced eyesight, if he could see it, it still meant that the incoming visitors were still very far away.

However, they were approaching very quickly, clearly going at super sonic speeds casually so that they could meet up with the All-King.

"Kael, I’m going now," Chloe’s voice came from behind. Her arms reached for Kael and wrapped around his waist from behind while she rested her head gently on his back.

The main reason why she could be so comfortable with Kael recently was because of her achievements with the Bear and Falcon civilizations.

Technically, she didn’t do much since Kael had channeled his will through her using the Conqueror’s Mode Avatar technique.

But it had also allowed Kael to peek into her intent and see a little bit of the way her mind worked.

It was safe to say that there was no need to discard Chloe from the pride anymore. Chloe, after some exposure to certain elements, could recover her lost self.

Kael also did some reflection on himself. How long had Chloe been with him? It wasn’t even up to a decade yet.

Compared to other pride leaders that have been with their consorts for many centuries or less, the lifespan of his relationship with his consorts was very short.

Perhaps, the All-King may have been way too impatient. But who could blame him, a lot was happening every day, so much that one might think time was moving very fast.

Either way, Chloe would operate best in a specific type of environment, particularly one that was ever-changing.

Trying to confine her to a single spot or force her to follow Kael around would be very bad for her mental health and would probably cause her to slip back into timidity and comfort.

With that in mind, Chloe was now going on a long voyage across the starry seas of the mortalverse.

However, this adventure that she was going on was not randomly inspired. With the help of Kael, she had mapped out the places she wanted to go.

These were places that she had never been to before obviously. But on the cosmic map that she was using, these places were labeled to have high activities of small civilizations.

Chloe was to explore these places with hopes of finding something that would benefit Kael. This way, Chloe got her adventure, and Kael got potential benefits.

The number of places Chloe had to explore was a lot. At least, she wouldn’t be completing it anytime soon.

But it wasn’t like she wouldn’t be seeing Kael though. Kael had already given her a heavenly beacon, making her the second of his consorts to have it.

She could come back to heaven whenever she wanted or even call for help.

Kael had also intentionally let the news that he had given Chloe a Heavenly Beacon slip out to the public.

By some mysterious means, some lions and lionesses who were to join Chloe for this adventure had found out about it and had already spread the news.

As expected, it had caused a lot of pride leaders to be put under pressure. How could they compete with this?

It wasn’t like they could just find a Heavenly Beacon and just hand it out to their consorts.

The pride leaders were pressured and their consorts were jealous but it didn’t change anything. Most lion kings knew that their consorts were not that trustworthy.

They were aware of the benefits that came with belonging to a lion king. Status, stability, and resources for themselves and their children.

It was the main reason why lionesses wanted to be consorts of kings if they had the chance, not love. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

If the lion kings started giving their consorts the heavenly beacons that they found, that would seem nice and romantic on paper, but in the long run, it would just lead to the systematic collapse of the power dynamic in the pride and clan.

The kings were not simps, most of them. They disregarded the complaints of their consorts and even threatened to replace them if they dared mention the topic again.

As for the All-King who had caused a small turmoil in the lion family system, he was not bothered. He had not leaked the news because of them.

He had leaked the news so that another demographic would be motivated to work in his favor.

The countless lionesses who were still participating in the Consort Trial Missions. These lionesses did not belong to any pride yet and were seriously hoping to join the All-King’s pride, or if possible, his clan.

One could imagine the fervor and motivation these lionesses received when they heard that the All-King had gifted one of his consorts with a Heavenly Beacon.

The leak of this rumor had naturally created benefits for Kael, benefits that he would soon go to reap after he was done with his business here.

As he stood outside the pyramid with Chloe wrapping her arms around him from behind and Alora slowly walking over, the sky darkened.

Thousands of figures now hovered under the halo of the golden sky.

Out of the many figures that now hovered in the sky, looking down at the All-King, one tall and elderly man with stubby antlers on his head stood out.
