"Kill her yourself," Kael said to Emperor Zain, pushing the Primordial Dragon to the limits of his tolerance.

"What?" Emperor Zain asked, stunned by the request.

He had already said the word 'Fine'; he had already confirmed that he would give Victoria to the lions as proof of his willingness to join the alliance.

Why then must he kill his own disciple? Why then must he kill the person he had raised since she was a little hatchling?

She was already devastated, having been broken by the turn of events. She was already downcast from the fact that her own master whom she had devoted her life to had given her up to achieve his goals.

Should her final memories be of her master taking the life of his own disciple?

Five hundred thousand years, the long period of time the Dragon Emperor had been alive did not mean that he was indifferent to mundane emotions.

It just meant that he didn't take some things with as much importance as others would as his emotions were heavily reinforced by eons of experience.

But to ask him to kill his own disciple?

That was too much.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Emperor Zain asked, violent winds blew out of his nose as he stood up.

The table was blasted away due to the force of his aura and Victoria was pushed aside.

Suddenly, Alora stepped forward and slashed her hand through the air. An ice blade conjured out of her finger and sliced the flying fur-covered table into two.

Behind her, Kael looked at the commotion with a calm look on his face.

He didn't seem offended by Emperor Zain's sudden outburst. He simply collected the event as data, understanding that this Primordial Dragon had buttons that could be pushed to get a reaction.

This data could be used later in the future for possible Conquering Activities.

For now…

"Emperor Zain, would you prefer that the lions kill her themselves?" Kael asked, his golden eyes flickering with a dangerous cold light.

Victoria looked at Kael, then at Alora, then at her master, her shoulders shaking with anxiety.

She was contemplating whether she should run away or just accept her fate.

Emperor Zain stared coldly at the All-King, silver lumps of energy started to flow out of his beard and fingers, casting a dark silver shadow around him.

"You are going too far, All-King. Do you want to make an enemy out of us?" Emperor Zain asked, guilt evident in the tone of his voice which he could no longer control.

Kael furrowed his brows, "Do you think we are afraid of making you our enemies?

You think too highly of yourselves, Zain," Kael said, then looked to the side, observing the half of the fur-covered chair that had flown to the right.

"You have already agreed to deliver her as compensation.

Who kills her should not even matter right now, all that should matter to you is the proceedings of this alliance formation so that we can start the war as soon as possible.

I'm asking you to kill her yourself because I personally will not show her mercy and make her death swift.

Neither will the other lions and lionesses. Victoria has caused damage that would not be so easily forgiven should she fall into our hands.

You killing her yourself is an act of mercy, Zain."

Kael's body suddenly blurred out of existence as he stood in front of Emperor Zain, looking up at his tall and angry figure.

However, something was different this time. There was now a fifth person in the meeting room with them.

No one knew when she had appeared but Katari had appeared and was standing directly behind Victoria.

The only way Victoria knew that Katari was even standing beside her was the pulse of killing intent that came and went as fast as possible.

Victoria turned around, alarmed, with water constructs manifesting around her as she took a defensive pose.

Katari was just there, staring at Victoria expressionlessly. Where had she been all this time? Only Kael knew.

Now, she was here and already ready to take action.

Emperor Zain looked at Katari and saw that Katari was way too close. As a Primordial Dragon, he was more sensitive to the essence laws and he could feel a faint rise of Conquering Essence coming from the depths of Katari's body.

Katari was tier 6 but he could tell that her actual power level could be far higher than that.

Emperor Zain turned back to look at Kael, "Mercy?" He asked.

Kael nodded, "You killing her is an act of mercy.

I assure you, the fate that awaits Victoria if she falls into the hands of we lions is worse than death.

This is a promise.

The choice lay in your hands Emperor Zain, you can either leave her to us, of which we would not complain.

Or you could kill her yourself and end this as swiftly as possible."

Kael talked authoritatively, as if he didn't care about the fact that Emperor Zain was an Immortal.

If there was any bit of fear in the All-King's heart, it wasn't showing on his face.

Actually, there was a third choice that Emperor Zain could choose, it wasn't limited to the two choices that Kael had given him.

Emperor Zain could still choose to just reject the entire plan to give Victoria up as compensation.

He could preserve his integrity, preserve his inner peace, but at the cost of his inner peace.

Thinking to this point, Emperor Zain sighed.

Deeper and deeper he fell into the trap Kael was setting for the Creation Dragons.

"Master…" Victoria said her voice shaking as she struggled to accept her death just like that.

This wasn't how this meeting was supposed to happen.

It wasn't.

Emperor Zain looked at Victoria, he tried to wear a smile but the sight of those two streams of tears rolling down Victoria's cheeks shattered something inside him.

He sighed again.

"Victoria, I'm sorry. For the sake of the Law!"

Emperor Zain raised his hand and pushed an open palm in Victoria's direction.

A gentle silver glow emanated from his hand, flowing out in the form of two silver streams of Creation Essence.

Kael observed this with rapt attention.

The flow of Creation Essence flew toward Victoria.

At first, Victoria reacted instinctively, creating a water barrier around her as she shot upward to escape.

She blasted through the ceiling at supersonic speeds, and the whole pyramid cracked and trembled, threatening to crumble under the unleashed might of the tier 7 Azure Dragon.

However, the two streams of Creation Essence followed after Victoria, moving extra fast and covering the distance within half a second.

One of the streams turned into a silver rope that quickly wrapped around the water barrier.

The water barrier burst into countless droplets, revealing Victoria's figure.

The silver rope constrained Victoria before she could transform into her true form.

"No! No! Noooooo!" Victoria roared.

Her azure eyes blared with fury. She was unwilling to accept this. Was this the reward for her loyalty?

By this time, she had appeared above the Pyramid, leaving a series of holes below. The other silver stream had flowed out of these holes to arrive in front of the indignant Victoria.

At the same time, multiple colorful figures appeared outside the Pyramid with her.

Alora, Katari, Emperor Zain, and the judge of her fate, the All-King.

"Relax Victoria, you already pledged your life to me the moment you became my disciple.

Don't worry, I'll make it quick!" Emperor Zain announced into her mind telepathically as he casually closed in on Victoria.

"Screw you!" Victoria responded with a loud shout that caused the metal surface of the pyramid to vibrate and the spatial distortion barrier around them to quiver.

"SCREW ALL OF YOU!" Victoria raged.

Suddenly, the azure light from her eyes began to brighten, rising with alarming intensity.

"She's about to destroy herself…" Kael warned Emperor Zain.

Emperor Zain gritted his teeth. He was secretly hoping that she would have destroyed herself but it seems the All-King will not take that.

One second slower and the sacrifice would be for nothing.

The second silver stream that flowed from Emperor Zain's hand turned into a tiny silver needle the length of an index finger with the width of a hair strand.

Without hesitation, Emperor Zain waved his hand, using an invisible force to drive the needle straight into Victoria's forehead.

"..."

"..."

Silence.

Emperor Zain gazed upon his disciple who was now unmoving and absent of all signs of life.

No breath.

Only the residual aura that was present as a testament to the power she once had.

Even then, with that power, she was still no match for the casual power of a real Immortal.

Just like that, Emperor Zain had made short work of a tier 7 entity.

Kael, of course, paid attention to all this knowing fully well that this was not the true might of this Primordial Dragon of Creation.

Victoria's body floated there, still bound by the silver rope manifested from Creation Essence.

"Welcome to the alliance, Emperor Zain, I look forward to fighting alongside you…" Kael whispered with a devious smile forming on his face.

Emperor Zain…did not reply.
