Burdo received a message from his brother personally, stating that Wei had been saved.
Burdo came to the continent that was still undergoing construction.
By the time he arrived, Kael and Katari had gone. Wei was left in one of the pyramids, resting as she awaited her father’s arrival.
When Burdo came and saw his daughter, he could immediately see the tears she was struggling to hold back.
She wasn’t brought up to cry because tears were a sign of weakness, yet, what she experienced warranted that uncontrollable tears flowed down her cheeks.
Such fear.
She tried to explain it to Burdo but Burdo just could not understand what it felt like to be violated by the Fear the Creeps.
A feeling that crawled on the skin like cold ants as they gnawed on the skin and mind of their victims.
At first, Burdo wanted to chastise her, realizing that she may have cried in front of the All-King who saved her.
Then he also remembered that Wei was not the only lioness that had gone to that planet
Where was the planet?
Where were the lionesses?
How come Wei was the only one to come back?
It was then that Wei explained everything in detail and told her father about the likely fate of the other lionesses.
Burdo sighed and took his daughter away from the continent. She would need time to recover from this.
But at the same time, he wondered why Kael chose to save Wei instead of someone else.
He could have saved any other lioness first, but he chose Wei.
He found it hard to believe that Kael had some sort of sentiment toward Wei. It was hard to believe. The most reasonable explanation was that Wei had just been chosen out of the All-King’s curiosity.
Burdo ended up carrying his daughter back to the Massive Black Pyramid where she would be looked at and checked for any internal serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the rankings were updated almost immediately.
The Web, the collective consciousness of the spiders that had been submissively monitoring the activities of the Consort Trial participants, had been doing its duty as intended.
As soon as Kael saved Wei and the connection was established for a short moment, all the data needed to update the rankings was gathered.
Technically, since Wei was the primary accessory that Kael used to locate this Horror Heaven and the mysterious Primordial of Fear, she was the one who received all the contribution rewards.
This turn of events stunned many observant lions and caused two different reactions.
It let the lions know that there was soon going to be a new consort added to Kael’s harem.
But it also revealed more details concerning the lost lionesses.
Many clans that had been waiting for the daughters and sisters to come back were shocked when Wei explained what happened in that mysterious realm.
They couldn’t imagine how it felt because all of them were used to denying the existence of their fear.
That very day.
Two announcements were made.
The first announcement was not a public announcement and most people found out through word of mouth.
Wei had been offered a chair to sit amongst Kael’s consorts.
It was now official.
Because Wei was still recovering that day, Burdo didn’t allow her to receive any visitors. No one could tell whether she was excited or not.
Surely she should be, after all, this was what she had been fighting for since she was little.
She was also considered lucky given that she did not even help Kael catch this Primordial of Fear, only offering a location.
Anyways, her reward was her reward and most besides the other participants couldn’t be too bothered about it.
The second reward came as a surprise to the watchful lions.
They had all expected that Kael would post a new public mission at some point and many were expecting that it would be about Horror Heaven.
But it wasn’t.

Phase 1: Let the Conquering Begin.
Description: The Great Purification has been completed, and the lion race is mostly purged of the sinners and traitors.
Now, we must shift our gaze to the countless stars and fulfill the duties our ancestors failed to accomplish.
Due to the previous wars the lions have had with other enemies, we have lost a lot.
We shall recover them all.
We shall have our vengeance for all the kings that died for our cause.
We shall pay them back blood for blood, bone for bone, soul for soul.
Our enemies shall beg.
Our allies shall beg.
The heavens shall beg.
The void shall beg.
The unknown must beg.
The universe must beg.
They must beg.

And if they don’t beg, we shall crush them all!

The mission description stroked their pride and egos the right way.
They felt like they were part of the master race of the universe, that it was their right to do whatever they wanted.
Not even the universe should dare to stand against them.
And if it did, the promise was written in the description. They shall make it beg. And if the universe refuses to beg, they shall crush it thoroughly.
Perhaps, they might reach a level where they create their own universe, one whose will is submissive to the kings of reality.
Obviously, this new mission was a reaction to the preparation for war.
With the war coming, many clans had already prepared and some kings had already descended to the mortalverse to start some small-scale battles.
If it had already begun.
Everyone was thinking that the big powerhouses would have to make a move first before it became an all-out war.
Alas, Kael didn’t think that way. If the world was a chessboard, he would now be considered one of the players.
Except that Kael had no obligations to actually play this silly game of chess with them. He might as well flip the whole board and go straight to the point.
With this mission, the lions and lionesses now had serious incentives to start fighting to the death.
One million points for a single lost heaven beacon?
As long as a prince found one, he would be able to live like a king for a very long time. There would be very few things on the market that he wouldn’t be able to buy.
Not to mention the Lionhood Bar refill which was practically like a drug to all of them at this point.
Just reading the objectives, the kings were starting to get restless.
Vassals in the mortalverse were suddenly being mobilized to move out.
This was a time when the alliances actually meant something.
No single clan was going to fight this war on their own, they were going out with a minimum of fifty other clans partnering with them.
Sure, there were a lot of rewards to be gained if they worked solo, but it was very risky.
They had a better chance of enjoying whatever reward they got if they worked together.
Lions were social animals after all, if there was no use in working solo, they wouldn’t.
On this day, there was a movement in heaven.
For the first time since the time of Noel, the lion calms were actually very eager to go down to the mortalverse to slay some enemies.
They prayed, and with all seriousness, that someone would actually show resistance. They practically shut their eyes as they thought of the resources they needed for this war, praying that some lesser race would just look at them the wrong way.
Arkships were being assembled in the millions, they were ready to cleanse galaxies.
The other factions may also be prepared for war, but the lions were not just prepared, they actively wanted it.
And Kael who had caused all this was currently heading toward Memphis’s continent because she had sent him a worrying message not so long ago.
