Chapter 674: Chapter 674: Big Brother Immortal

Kael and Katari had been casually discussing on Memphis’s mountain. They were still here after Memphis left to test out some things in the mortalverse.

It was here that they would discuss and wait for her to come back.

Kael had imagined many scenarios that Memphis would face once she attracted the right attention with her immortal power.

So when he saw a heavenly gate open up with Memphis rushing through, he was only mildly surprised.

He had expected that maybe Ibadon himself would step forward to handle Memphis since he was technically the only immortal that was known to be in their rank.

However, the aura that was caused after Memphis was not Ibadon’s.

Ibadon never hid his aura. Everyone who had been close to him once knew what it was like to be close to him again and could remember the feeling very well.

Ibadon was that confident in himself and was sure that if anyone could sense his aura, they were probably already in a range that allowed him to kill them easily.

The only exemption would have been the Battle Planet that must have annoyed him a lot.

So when the immortal aura that he sensed pushing out of the heavenly gate behind Memphis was discovered to not belong to Ibadon, Kael became both curious and cautious.

Thankfully, Memphis was smart enough to cancel out the Heavenly Gate from existence soon after she flew through it, preventing her foe from following her.

Even before she did that, the aura of the person chasing her slowed down. It seemed that the person was also smart enough to know that he or she would be entering the home turf of the lions.

No matter how powerful they were, even if they were an immortal, as long as they did not come to the Leonine Heaven with an army, they would be committing suicide.

Even Ibadon and Sakan had only tried what they did when they had sufficient armies of dragons present to offset most of the load.

The heavenly gate closed and the turbulence that descended from the presence of two Primordials was reduced significantly.

Kael, sitting on a makeshift wooden chair on the top of the mountain, relaxed, knowing that some things were not yet beyond his control.

Sitting before him was Katari who was looking at the figure of Memphis as she zoomed toward them from a distance.

Memphis flew very fast and had already covered close to a million kilometers by the time the heavenly gate was closed.

"That was..." Memphis stuttered, her voice filled with excitement, "So...exhilarating!" She exclaimed.

Kael smiled, "I see," He said. His index finger tapped continuously on the armrest of the wooden chair.

He was not an immortal but he could imagine just how different it was to fight as an immortal when compared to fighting as a tier 7.

Of all his predecessors, Noel and Alan were the only Primordial Lions that managed to ascend to the Immortal level. Most of the others ended their lives at tier 7.

Now, Kael had already explored the final memories of most of the other Primordials and he was able to find that understanding what was happening was not that hard.

Although tier 7 creatures were very strong, they were still understandable.

But when Kael looked at some memories from Alan or the final memories of Noel, he was completely lost.

He wouldn’t have been able to comprehend most of what happened to Noel if not for the time machine in the first place.

All Kael saw when viewing those memories were flashes of light and blurs.

Only Memphis understood how thrilling it was now.

Kael could only guess as he eagerly waited for his moment to join them and become an immortal himself.

"Did you get anything?" Kael asked.

Memphis dropped to the ground gently, allowing Kael to see that her black dress and blonde hair were in disarray.

There were also spots of red blood on the neck area of her dress. But from the looks of her face and the exposed part of her neck, Memphis was perfectly fine.

How could she die?

But it was undeniable that the blood on the neck area of her dress was hers. Whatever she must have encountered in the mortalverse must have been incredibly terrifying to make a Low Level Immortal bleed.

"Yeah, I did. So little time has passed. It felt like I was fighting him for days!" Memphis said as she waved her hand.

Two tiny dots flew out of her hand. They expanded to reveal that they were miniaturized time bubbles that Memphis had been keeping on her body since.

Kael and Katari watched the two time bubbles expand rapidly with a thick membrane compromising the outer layers.

The two time bubbles were transparent enough for Kael to see the insides.

Each of the time bubbles actually contained a being inside them. These two creatures were in their true forms.

One was a massive female hyena and the other was a slick sword-nosed swordfish.

Kael recognized them instantly.

The Primordial Hyena of War and the Primordial Swordfish of Swords.

Two Primordials that Kael had been hoping would have fallen into his hands earlier.

Unfortunately, they had submitted to President Musty long before Kael could find them, which would complicate things significantly.

Thankfully, Memphis had abducted them before running away from that mysterious enemy.

How Memphis was able to abduct others with time bubbles was a mystery to Kael. Maybe it was something she picked up after becoming an immortal.

Memphis was still attached to him through the Consort Trial so he still had access to time powers that he had yet to use.

He had a little understanding of how the flow of time worked and seriously wondered how Memphis could abduct others with a time bubble.

The concept behind such a technique must be very complex, Kael thought..

With these time bubbles here, it signified Memphis success as not only had she captured two Primordials for the All-King, she had also discovered something crucial.

Memphis waved her hand, allowing the two time bubbles to be pushed to the side. These Primordials were important but they were not as significant as the news she had for the All-King.

The time bubbles floated to Katari’s side and Katari merely looked at them before returning her gaze to Memphis.

"Kael, the cats are allied with the dragons," Memphis said.

"Oh," Kael frowned. Then again, he should have expected this.

But he wasn’t aware of the intricate politics that went on behind the scenes or what the political landscape for Original Heaven was.

He couldn’t possibly have expected that the cats and dragons were still working together after three million years.

He remembered the scene of Noel detonating himself and those thousands of Primordial Cats disappearing as they were vaporized by the resulting power.

"How did you find this out?" Kael asked.

Then Memphis began to narrate her experience in a slow manner that allowed Kael to understand the high-speed conflict that had happened in the mortalverse.

She had found the Primordials not out of luck but out of logic. The scouts already knew the location of Shuri’s home world; that was not something that would be hard to find.

The lion princes directing their invasion fleets toward Shuri’s homeworld was a coincidence. But Memphis appearing on that same planet wasn’t.

Thankfully, she met Shuri and Ren there as she could kill two birds with one stone.

All the time she was fighting, or rather, bullying those Primordials, it wasn’t because she wanted to but because she wanted to attract the attention of the right people.

When beating them up, she had given them enough time to perform any mysterious acts of communication. Memphis knew that there was no way they would be there without any form of backup that they could use to contact President Musty.

And true to her words, they had actually contacted President Musty as a savior arrived to help them out.

Unfortunately, they had miscalculated. Even though Memphis was exhibiting powers that shouldn’t technically belong to a tier 7 time lioness like her incredible physical strength, they still assumed she was tier 7.

That was what the info orbs said about her last reported power level. Besides, wasn’t it far fetched to think that she was an Immortal Tier powerhouse?

So based on what they reported back to President Musty, President Musty also assumed that the enemy they were facing was just a very powerful tier 7 lioness.

That was why he didn’t object to Elizabeth sending out that tier 7 equivalent cat man.

Perhaps, if Memphis had hidden her aura more thoroughly, he might not know. But as soon as the first act of hostility was exposed, he knew.

Memphis had chased him but the cat man had stalled with all his might, waiting for his elder brother to show up.

Because he was tier 7, Memphis had attacked him with even more viciousness than the others.

By the time the cat man’s elder brother arrived, Memphis was stomping his head into the ground at the center of a nation-wide crater.

Alas, with the arrival of the older brother, things became a little complicated.

The older brother was Seth, an immortal and also the Primordial Cat of Freedom.
