Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 675: What To Do
This stunned Memphis as she wondered how it was possible for an Immortal to still have a younger sibling. She made some calculations in her mind at that time and thought that an immortal would technically outlive his or her parents over time.
She could read the flow of time around them and could accurately tell the ages of these brothers.
The Primordial Cat was around three hundred thousand years old and the younger one who was tier 7 was still fifty thousand years old.
How was that possible?
The only explanation would be that one of the parents was an immortal as that would explain such a person could father or mother two children across four hundred thousand years.
But, that would mean that there were two Immortals in one single family.
As Kael listened to Memphis’s explanation, he couldn’t help but increase the pace at which he tapped his finger on the wooden armrest.
This was far more complicated than he thought.
Just as Memphis explained, it wasn’t long that the cat man arrived that his brother also arrived.
And as soon as the Primordial Cat arrived, it was straight hands from there.
This was where Memphis realized her mistake.
The Primordial Cat was not just an average immortal. He was a Mid Level Immortal creature, the same level that Emperor Zain was at.
Although both sides were immortal and would not die under regular methods, there was a significant difference between those power levels.
A Low Level Immortal was on average planetary in terms of power level. Maybe they could scale up to several planets level of influence if they used the right technique.
A Mid Level Immortal on the other hand was at least Star Scale.
The full might of a Mid Level Immortal could wipe out a couple star systems very easily.
And it was different if it was a Primordial as Primordials were usually slightly stronger than others of the same level.
The Primordial Cat that came to save his brother was a Mid Level Immortal, Memphis was no match at all.
She managed to capture the Primordial Hyena and Primordial Swordfish before rushing away from the planet.
Memphis did not open the heavenly gate immediately though.
She knew that if she escaped to early, the Primordial Cat of Freedom would redirect his focus to the lion invasion happening on that planet.
Memphis and Kael needed news to spread organically for it to be effective. Those lions had to be the ones telling stories of how powerful Memphis was, how she had easily beaten two Primordials and swatted a tier 7 equivalent cat.
So, Memphis needed to give the invading lions time to escape. They had to forget about the invasion and move on to something else fast.
While broadcasting an emergency message via the chats for them to know what was up, Memphis used her Time Acceleration technique to rush out of the star system.
She was followed though, not by one, but by hundreds of Primordial Cats, each with the power level of a Mid Level Immortal.
This was the reason for Memphis’s true panic. Primordials were really terrifying with their various strange powers.
To be chances by a hundred Mid Level Immortals across three star systems. A second slower and she could have actually been captured. Immortals may not die naturally but they can definitely be killed.
Who knew how many methods that Primordial Cat had to kill Immortals?
Thankfully, the invading lions were smart. Not all the Vassals managed to make it back to the arkship before the Warp Speed engine was activated but many Lion managed to escape in time.
By the time the heavenly gate was open and Memphis was passing through, the two Lion arkships were gone.
Now, there would be two news circulating the forums of the lion system. There would be talk of Memphis’s amazing might as some lions would have definitely recorded what was happening on that scene.
Then in the process of that, it would be discovered that the cats were also allies with the dragons and there was an immortal among them.
But there would also be fall of how Memphis was able to outrun an immortal as people who knew Memphis would be able to see that her identity mark and profile on the lion system was still active.
She actually survived the direct hostile presence and chase of a powerful Primordial immortal.
This would only be possible if Memphis was also immortal herself.
Kael and Memphis would not come out to say anything or address the matter. That was how it was supposed to be. Mysterious.
Anyways, the operation was a big success. Memphis managed to find two Primordials and she also revealed the trump cards of the dragon alliance before it could do.any damage.
Now, the results.
Under the golden sky, Kael rested on the wooden chair with his eyes glazed over. He was in deep thought on what he should do.
"Is my performance good enough?" Memphis asked with a smirk. She waved her hand and her tattered black clothes shifted to a cleaner grey dress.
"Very good," Kael nodded, "You may retain yourself as my consort," He added.
Memphis chuckled at the blatant narcissist display in Kael’s words. Even immortals did not enter his eyes that much if one where to understand him based on his words.
But Kael wasn’t thinking about Memphis right now.
The lions were in danger.
He could feel it.
The collective fate and fortune of the lions were being pulled into a state of instability. He was sure that the fortune lions would also be sensing it too.
The lion civilization was in serious danger.
The dragons had really prepared for them, Kael knew it. Ibadon was dead serious about wiping them out and he was definitely trying to achieve it within this era.
He was going to surround the lion, choke them out with allies from all sides and introduce parties that wanted to see the downfall of the lions.
Kael was sure.
What was he to do about it?
"First, President Musty is going to be a big pain if he is not killed very soon. But he is also held up inside the Draconic Heaven.
The cats very likely have more than one immortals and they are allied with Ibadon.
What else? What else?"
Kael spoke to himself and began to think of what he could do now. He didn’t just want to sit around and let things happen. He needed to outsmart the immortal, but how?
"Yes, he’s going to get more allies to make his plan more secure.
The tigers?
Yes..."
A ruthless glint flashed in Kael’s eyes. But he still hesitated. He was thinking of the chain reaction of his actions of he actually went on with it.
"What about more Primordials? The stronger they get the better. But their strength can’t be rushed.
I’ll announce the addition of Memphis to motivate the consort trial participants.
But that won’t work. It won’t shop Ibadon from doing what he wants to do.
Emperor Zain and the Creation Dragons are the only allies the lion had for now. They had already deeply offended Emperor Zain by asking him to kill Victoria, but Kael didn’t have any regrets.
That sacrifice was used to help Alora evolve and she was already down in he mortalverse, putting her new power level to good use.
Alas, it couldn’t be denied, Kael needed the Creation Dragons to stall the Destruction Dragons once again.
No, Kael didn’t want to stall them, he wanted to crush them all completely. But he couldn’t.
Why?
Because of Ibadon.
Ibadon was the primary cause of all this.
If only there was a way to kill Ibadon. If only there was a way to kill an Supreme Level Immortal.
What about assassinations? Kael thought.
His mind immediately went to work and the lion system responded. Among the hundreds of billions of lions and lionesses in the lion system, some should be very good at assassinations, right?
This was actually one of the specialties of the Shadow Tyranny Coalition. Eliminating threats in the shadows was something they were good at.
So Kael put up some other missions concerning the stealthy assassinations of certain key figures that he knew of.
He didn’t make it a priority but actually posted this mission in a private group for about one hundred thousand lion kings. In this group, most of the members belonged to the Shadow Tyranny Coalition.
The gears of war were still spinning.
And speaking of war, he just got the Primordial Hyena of War in his possession. Although he wouldn’t be able to make any contract with her as long as Must was still alive, it was still good to have her around.
That was because a Primordial of War had some passive influence that affected everything around them.
Kael then thought of something. The immortals. The cats did not have their own heaven as they were not necessarily a close knitted civilization.
They were more scattered and nomadic than anything. But at that, this Primordial Cat probably came from Original Heaven.
Original Heaven. Kael needed to pay a visit to that place. That was also the place that Ma’abu got the Anti Lion Tail from...
That was also the place were many exotic creatures like the last three lion species were known to reside...
"Oh," Kael suddenly smiled as thought of something.
"Memphis, I would like to speak with Emperor Zain personally, I want you to go to him as my proxy.
But before you go, give me a list of all your friends who are on the peak of tier 7..."
Memphis nodded obediently and immediately went to work.
Kael relaxed on his chair again and took in a deep breath. It was high time he cracked down on evolving to tier 7.
